« I Bought It for Migraines »
Hi, I bought this mask for migraines, not specifically for its cryo-anti-aging properties. It stays nice and cold for about 15 minutes. I do not even notice the metal acupressure points. It helps to provide some relief for my migraines. Plus when I take off the mask, my skin does look more toned/tightened. I am in my mid 30’s, just as a reference. The two things I don’t really enjoy are the size of the mouth hole (too small) and the under the chin strap. When I stretch the bottom strap to make room for my normal sized lips, it tightens the under the chin part of the mask to the point of impeding my ability to swallow. So I keep it loose, and just be bothered by the mouth hole getting stuck on my bottom lip.I am glad I purchased this as migraines have been coming for me lately and this mask does provide relief.
I couldn’t decide between two or three stars. I purchased this the moment I came across it on the site because I love what ice does for my face. I stick my face in an ice bath several mornings a week just for the depuffing/pore-tightening effect (no, I’m not related to Patrick Bateman). I don’t think this mask works any better than that and honestly, this mask is more difficult to finagle with. It feels nice on my face, but I hate the feeling of velcro near my hair. I didn’t try it out while having a migraine, so I can’t speak to how well it helps with that.
« not worth it »
Extremely uncomfortable and the beads leave indentations on your skin. It also loses coldness within a minute. Effects are no better than a gel sheetmask. Not worth the price or effort.
« Not as Good as Expected »
I am not crazy about this mask. The first time I used it, I put it in the freezer for 30 mins prior to use, and it just didn’t seem cold enough. I massaged the acupressure beads while it was on and was left with deep indentation marks when I took it off. (They took over a hour to fade). The next time I used it, I froze it for an hour, which did make it cold enough and I did not touch the acupressure beads, so I did not have any indentations on my face when I removed it. However, it heats up really quickly and after about 7 minutes it was no longer cold. Overall, while I like how my face feels after I use this, I don’t notice much change in terms of appearance. I think using a sheet mask in the refrigerator works just as well. I also tried it with the cryo serum, and the serum didn’t seem to work at all. I am going to return this.
« doesn’t fit men’s face »
This is definitely not made for men’s faces! It is really nice & very lifting and cooling. The beads kind of hurt because it doesn’t fit my face right, but i’m sure it feels normal on others
« It depends »
I understand that this product is supposed to “lift” your face, but I honestly don’t use it for that. It’s expensive and I don’t think this is an item 100% worth the price, but I think it was a good buy for me. I get terrible tension headaches and after using it for over a month I noticed that my headaches weren’t as strong or noticeable after using this every morning and every night. I used it in the morning to de-puff my face (which it does make a difference, I look awake and bright) but I mostly use this for my headaches. As for a difference in my face, I think over time it genuinely does “lift” under my chin because I see a slight difference, but my only concern is the elastic stretching over time. Also, it doesn’t stay cold as long as it did from when I initially got it. Overall: Good for headaches and waking you up in the morning, but you need to use consistently to see noticeable changes to your face.
« Disappointment on my face »
Well this was a disappointment for me. I liked the idea, the under chin section for lifting and the pressure point nubs. But the execution didn’t amount useful especially when looking at the price. The gel pouches only cover very small sections of the face (the cheeks just open and flapping like crazy jowls) and it doesn’t hold the cold well. The pouches feel nearly empty and once the cool feeling disappeared after a minute, it offered no benefit to my skin.
This item is a $50 ice pack for the face and it does not even stay cool that long. Not worth the price.
« Migraine: YAY. Skin: Meh. »
It never gets cold enough and warms up in 2 minutes, HOWEVER, I use it for migraines and cluster headaches and the beads are perfect. You don’t feel them when they are on (I have a pretty small head) but when you massage them the hurt so good. It is perfect for relieving migraine pain so for that it gets stars. For skin stuff it gets none.
Potential to be amazing. Coldness only last a few minutes at most. Have three stars for the thought and the idea I am also in love with it.
« Surprisingly great! »
I was a little skeptical going into this, but I love it! It feels so refreshing to wear - especially if you live in a hot area or are feeling warm. It has a great cooling sensation, which also incidentally helped when I had a headache. I thought it might be a little difficult to get the straps positioned right, but it was actually super easy/quickl. Also, the acupressure buttons didn’t hurt or feel unpleasant. They also didn’t leave much of a mark. The only marks that the mask did leave went away pretty quickly.I felt like the effects were nice visibly/physically as well. It also comes with a pouch you can store it in in the freezer, which is convenient. I actually did feel like my skin looked firmer after using it.
Unlike some other reviewers, I don’t think this product is that terrible. I leave it in the freezer and I put it on first thing in the morning while I’m making my first cup of coffee. it’s a really nice way to wake up my skin for the day and bring down any puffiness. With that being said, I do agree with other reviewers in that the holes for the note and mouth are WAY too small. The photo of the mask online makes the mouth hole look like it’s a decent size, however, when actually wearing the mask it’s really small and only my top lip is through the mouth hole. Nose hole is also quite small and I can feel the silicone digging in a bit while I wear it. I think with a couple of design tweaks this could be a really great product.
« Really disappointed »
I am really disappointed when using this mask, it is completely useless, it does not help my skin to tighten as advertised, I put it in the freezer for 30 minutes to 1 hour before using it, I was excited and I’ve been waiting to use it, but when I apply it to my face, it’s very cold and makes my face red from the cold and quickly clears up after 3-5 minutes, and no more after that, it doesn’t give me any extra feeling. Also, I try to use it more and more times, but my facial skin is still normal and more saggy.
I definitely see a difference and I don’t use it very often. I like it way better than ice rolling. It comes with a pouch so it’s easy to not get it dirty and keep it in the freezer. I 100% think it works and the people on here aren’t using long enough to experience the results.
« Just say No. »
Don’t waste your money. I don’t know why I thought this would do anything. It’s just an ice pack you put on your face. Really uncomfortable and does nothing.
