Received a deluxe sample of this product and didn’t expect much. I’m not into seaweed and the smell didn’t really do anything for me but let me tell you -- my skin looked bright and glowy after using this. The particles are quite large and the mask can be slightly temperamental to apply but the results are well-worth it. I loved the way my skin looked following use (I even left it on for about 20 minutes or so at the recommendation of a Sephora associate). Though it does it’s job in 5 minutes, I feel like I get maximum results by leaving it on longer. Definitely check this mask out! If you massage it off with warm water it also provides mild exfoliation. I’ve already purchased the full size for myself. Grab the mini size if you’re not quite sure about the full size version :)

I don’t like to use the term “holy grail” but, this is mine! This mask is amazing. The first time I tried it, it left my skin like I’ve always dreamed. It leaves my skin so radiant, yet matte. I don’t need even use my tinted moisturizer when I use this, It’s truly an amazing mask for me. Helps clear my hormonal breakouts, gently exfoliates and control oil. I’ve never seen my skin look so healthy. I’ve used fresh for over 14 years and this is my new favorite product. Love! If you’ve used the lotus youth preserve face cream, you’ll love this!!! The smell is similar...the mask is like a luxurious version of it. I’ve been using it twice a week. Anyway I’m rambling lol...just try the mask if you’ve been eyeing it, you won’t regret it.

I received a deluxe sample so I tried it on after exfoliating. I love the smell. It isn’t overpowering. For some reason it reminds me of cucumbers. The exfoliating bits aren’t a lot and they’re pretty big and they don’t really feel like they’re exfoliating. I kept it on for five minutes and i rinsed with warm water. At first it felt like I had a layer of “butter” on my face but once I patted dry that feeling disappeared. My skin feels SO hydrated without looking oily.

got this mask as part of a favourites pack and let me tell you, it is amazing! like the other reviewers, I’m not thrilled about the super grainy and big chunks, but when I rinsed this off...my skin was the softest it’s ever been! I felt radiant but there was absolutely no oil or stickiness like you get with other masks and moisturizers. deducting a star due to the crazy amount of grains in this, but 100% would recommend you give it a try! photo is my skin after rinsing before moisturizer.

« Too many exfoliating bits »

My skin looked good after this masque but not amazing. I agree with the other reviewer that the “bits” in this masque weren’t desirable. It was way too grainy & gritty for me. They should advertise this as an exfoliation masque. I’m not honestly sure of the benefits of it, hence the reduced star.

love it! Quick and easy to use. At first I thought this would be messy and leave my skin with some sort of unpleasant scent, but I was completely wrong. After using this product my skin feels so soft and looks snatched!

« MUST HAVE »

I can’t believe there are any bad reviews for this mask and that there is a lack of good ones. IMPORTANT: you need to use it exactly as directed on the packaging otherwise you won’t get the full benefits!! 1. Apply to cleansed (double cleanse if you had makeup/spf on) and DRY skin. 2. Leave for 5-7 minutes. If you leave it for longer it may irritate your skin. 3. Wet hands with lukewarm water and slowly massage your skin and you’ll feel the mask turn to an entirely different texture and that’s where the magic happens!! This mask is an absolute need to refresh your skin if it’s feeling clogged and dull. Because I have normal/combination skin I only use it once per week!

I love this mask , I got to try it the first time when I received it as a reward however I wasn’t impressed I bought another mini set that included a small one so I got to try it again and oh boy was I glad I did .. so this is not a skin routine type of mask ! This mask is more like before going out mask and especially if you use it after using a clarifying mask ( they tempt to be a bit harsh ) so this comes in and soothes your skin and making it dewy and make up ready .. only when I used it after (glam glow) that I’ve noticed a difference and my skin looked amazing for few days after use .. so yea I highly recommend it for flawless make up .

I got a smoke if this and was jazzed to try it. I was not a fan of the smell or the large chunks/particles in this mask. This was a pass for me.

I think for the price, this is a good mask. I used only once so far, but did see a difference in the brightness of my complexion after use. My skin felt soft, and hydrated. I like that you don’t have to leave it on that long, 5 minutes only. As far as the smell, I didn’t mind it that much, cucumber, and a hint of citrus, but has some seaweed smell mixed in. There are chunks of exfoliant in the mask, so be aware if that is a concern.

Great mask for hydration. My face feels instantly butter soft right after and the fresh seaweed scent is nice.

A very good moisturiser with a pleasant smell. Love it, definitely see the positive changes in my skin.

Okay i’ll start with the bad - my face smelled liked seaweed. Did not enjoy that. It almost had a fishy scent to it...i dunno if that was just my mind projecting the smell or if it actually did but definitely a down side. Now the good. Its really creamy with big exfoliators. I really enjoyed the tingly feeling on my skin while it sat and my face was so buttery soft after. If i could get past the smell i would definitely buy this again but alas i cannot as the smell is too potent for me.

An okay mask - it burns/tingles my skin a bit (and my skin is pretty acclimated to AHAs). Does make my skin look brighter.

« Oily »

I got this as a gift it smells great , feels great but every time I use it after I shower and rinsed it etc it does leave my face smooth but it makes it oily. Wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin also if your oily on ur tzone.
