Mini Turmeric BHA Pore & Brightening Treatment Mask

« Love it so far! »

I’m very happy with this product. As you apply it, you get an initial manual exfoliation (there’s some grit to the product), and then you leave it on for 5-15 min and your skin just feels lovely. There’s a cooling sensation and a very pleasant peppermint and herbal spa-type natural scent to the product. As you remove it, you get another quick manual exfoliation that helps give a final polish to the skin. Skin feels baby soft and deep cleaned. There’s no weird film left behind so you can go right in with an oil, serum or moisturizer without feeling like you need a second cleanse. This product came with a sample of the Noni Oil, which I used right afterward, and really enjoyed as well - enough so that I just ordered a bottle. I love exfoliators, masks and peels and own many from a variety of different brands. Some were ’meh’ or disappointing, but this one is excellent. Really pleased so far and looking forward to results with continued use.

So I got a sample for a beauty perk. I left this on my skin for 10 minutes and when I took it off my face was bright red and burning. The exfoliation is very harsh as well. If you have any type of skin sensitivity I do not recommend this product. I threw the rest in the trash.

I am a Sephora employee, and I made a sample of this to try out as soon as it hit the shelves. I truly love masking, I religiously do them 3 times a week. I love this mask because of the deep detoxification it gives my skin. This mask has a relaxing clean scent. My nose and cheeks were glowing afterwards- a true test of a good mask. I would absolutely use this again.

Amazing! Slight tingle, very refreshing and left my skin brightened and even!

« Nice for manual exfoliation »

Not sure why my whole review didn’t get posted the first time... Anyway, I like the idea of a mask that does both manual/physical and chemical exfoliation. The Kora Organics Mask does a little of both, but it really does much more in the physical/ surface level exfoliating area. To me it does seem like it was left on long enough to do much chemical exfoliation from the salicylic acid. I did find this to be a little rough for my dry, sensitive skin, in the future when I use this I will just massage it a little more gently. They did include a lot of fragrance so if you are sensitive to it start out slowly. I have a lot of mask but this by far is my favorite! The brightening properties of turmeric really work in this mask and the scrub is amazing. I love the Ole Henriksen Walnut Scrub - but this is my new go to! Def recommend

« Turmeric radiance »

This has a gorgeous fresh peppermint scent and is jam-packed with fine exfoliating grains of ground rose hip seeds. A small amount covers my whole face. While massaging, there is a tingling, cooling effect, which is so refreshing on a hot summer’s day. I leave it on for 15 minutes to get the full mask effect. After rinsing, my skin feels polished, firm, and deeply cleansed. My pores are tight and minimized. Best of all, the anti-inflammatory properties of organic Turmeric and Papaya completely calm my sensitive skin. The effects last for hours. I love it!

« A Let Down »

Has an amazing scent and nice feel but broke me out! Left the mask on for 10 minutes and has several whiteheads the following morning. Bummed!!

seriously the ingredients are not good for your face! it has essential oil and literally alcohol...don’t spend your money on this! instead buy the ordinary AHA BHA peeling solution!

A MUST!! I absolutely love it. It feels like a scrub in your skin when you massage the mask. I have been using it for 2 weeks straight and I can see my skin change. I also use it under my underarms and the discoloration is already going away!

« LOVE the Brightening »

So glad to find a mask that not only brightens but also gives a deep exfoliation. The peppermind scent of the mask and slight tingle creates a spa like feel to the experience. I kept the mask on for 15mins even though I have sensitive skin and am SO happy I did. I felt slight warmth and redness in my skin for a bit after taking the mask off but then it settled and I was just left with a luminous glow. I feel like the mask really helped to detoxify and refresh my skin...def will be a new weekly mask ritual. Thank you Kora!

« BEST Exfoliating mask at home... »

I feel like the mask really helped to detoxify and refresh my skin...My Skin feels baby soft and deep cleaned. I wash my face and use after the Kora Rose Mist and Kora Hydrated Moisturizer.

« Brown Girl Friendly! »

I know us brown girls have been told to stay far away from physical exfoliants, but this is amazing! I’m not sure why others think it’s too harsh... it really isn’t. I usually use this as a part of my night time routine, and the next morning my skin is super plump, smooth, and bright! I wish there was a serum version of this (if that’s a thing) because I would love to be able to use it more often!

this stuff is wonderful. i’ve used it for a month now 2-3 times a week and my skin looks incredible. it smells amazing. tingles, feels cool and purifying on my skin. love the exfoliation of this mask. take it off with a cloth. it’s pricey but it’s amazing and i will absolutely repurchase.
