« Disappointed in the ingredients »
This feels really nice while it is being applied. It is a thin gel texture that almost melts into water. It is cooling and definitely invisible. It doesn’t leave any thickness or white color like other SPFs. It has nice packaging but is not cruelty free. It also has fragrance as the last ingredient and smells incredibly strong. It is a pleasant scent but so strong. Also one of the first ingredients is denatured alcohol which is insanely drying to the skin. I could not believe that. For that reason I will not continue to use this. It claims so many great things and is good in theory but that one ingredients really disappoints me. I received this item for free for review but all opinions are my own.
« bad ingredient »
Avobenzone is a very bad ingredient.... Asian version do not use it anymore... why the North American version still using it... sad
« This one is not for me »
For reference I am in my mid 40s, have aging skin, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, wrinkles and fine lines (that’s what happens when you don’t use sunscreen on your younger years….) I liked this sunscreen but I didn’t consider it that wonderful for the high price tag, at least for what I look from a sunscreen.PROS:- Lightweight texture: it was easy to spread but it took a while to get absorbed by the skin.- It doesn’t leave too much of a greasy feeling (even applying the recommended amount), although it can feel very heavy on oily skin.- It worked well under my makeup but I needed to apply a powder to compensate the glowy finish from the sunscreen.- It has a lot of antioxidants as ingredients which are always very welcome.- SPF of 50+.- No white cast- It has a beautiful sophisticated scent that I love but if you are not into scented products, this is not for you. CONS:- High price: this sunscreen has a steep price of $40 for just 1 oz. - It has Oxybenzone as an ingredient, which is suspected to negatively after the endocrine system.- It has Alcohol Denat. quite high in the ingredient list.- I can’t apply it around my eyes because it irritates them.- It has perfume, which I personally like but it doesn’t dissipate over time. If you don’t like scented formulas, stay away from this one because it is quite intense.I am sharing my honest and authentic opinion as a Sephora Beauty Insider Community Ambassador

I’m giving this product 5 stars for a few reasons-1. Moisturizer with a 50 spf? Yes please! Ladies of all ages for goodness sakes protect your skin, I’m learning about all kinds of things I should have been doing since my twenties. 2. The consistently of aqua gel is amazing, it just melts into the skin like a dream! No sticky residue left behind, no greasey feeling! 3. It’s a primer. I’m ultra picky about my primers, I was very skeptical using this, didn’t seem like the consistenancy would work for me as a primer and I am happy to say I have never been more wrong, it’s 10:15 pm and my makeup looks pretty well intact. 4. My skin has never felt more plump and juicy before! 5. Although I received this as a gift for testing purposes, the price point is perfect. I will be repurchasing this again in the future, as well as recommending.
« Dry skin »
This feels really nice while it is being applied. It is a thin gel texture that almost melts into water. It is cooling and definitely invisible. It doesn’t leave any thickness or white color like other SPFs. My main issue with the product is one of the first ingredients listed is denatured alcohol which is insanely drying to the skin. I already have dry skin issues, so adding a product into my routine that might continue the dry skin issue is a no go. For that reason I will not continue to use this. It claims so many great things and is good in theory, but that one ingredient really disappoints me. I received this item for free for review but all opinions are my own.
I received this in my sun safety kit. I threw this in the trash. Oxybenzone? This is 2021...do better Lancôme.
« So little product, it’s like a sample size. »
The Good News first. The Product is lovely. Leans more moisturizers than primer, not super grippy but has a nice dry down. It has the benefits I’m looking for and I would purchase this again except for the bad news. I can’t believe how little product you get. I mean. I’m offended. I am not a person who is unwilling to spend on quality skin care, but seriously, it makes me question the integrity of the whole brand. I feel cheated. This is a daily use product and the packaging is literally the size of a sample, and it was only half full. I’m really disappointed. In it’s current form, I would not repurchase.
I just got this product yesterday and this is how much you get. My skin was oily after a hour. Don’t waste your money.
« Tube came half empty! »
The product itself is great, but when it arrived there was more air in the tube than product. Since it’s not cheap and the tube itself is small, I feel cheated and disappointed. Definitely not worth the money.
« Mediocrity at its best! »
Overall the product is nice. However, there is not much of it. I like the consistency; it spreads nicely but it doesn’t feel watery or oily. Does not leave any white cast like a lot SPFs. Does pretty well as a primer. I haven’t notice much pilling when putting on my concealer. Now, the packaging is VERY sub par. Does not look like the picture. The bottle is flimsy and just looks really cheap. For the price of it, I was fairly disappointed. The label isn’t even centered...
« Nice product but not worth it. »
Beautiful product, great texture - bought this as a quality face sunscreen to protect when starting to use a retinol cream. HOWEVER, when it arrived I thought the bottle was sample size and had to recheck my order. The bottle arrived half full and is a tiny amount for the price. You’d have to repurchase this every few weeks to keep up with skincare in the summer. Really not worth it.
Received today... don’t really know how it worth$40 ! Half bottle empty! Shocked!
« Definitely worth the money! »
This product was great! Not only did it have a nice scent, it left my skin moisturized without being oily. Sunscreen is one of the most important aspects of anti-aging defense, so finding one that can double as a moisturizer and doesn’t leave an oily, white cast on my face is a 10 in my book.I received this product complimentary for review, but would still recommend even if I didn’t!
« Love it! »
I used the trial size until it ran out and purchased the full sized version. I love it! Yes, the smell is strong but I don’t mind it and it does tend to be on the oily side but I love it as a sunscreen, I feel really protected. Also as someone with acne prone skin, I have not found this product to cause any break outs.
I got this in the Sephora Favorites sunscreen set, and I was really impressed with it—it smells lovely and it’s super lightweight, which is great for my super oily skin. Works great by itself or as a primer, though I’m not sure if I’d buy the full size since it’s so expensive.
