Whoa. I read the description and the initial 8 reviews and thought to myself I’ve found the perfect product so throw that in the basket and buy it. Then it sold out, eventually was able to buy it. Tried that night and immediately was impressed. The smell...well it’s strong. I’m not in love with it. But as I was rubbing it on my face I could feel the cooling start, and it just felt refreshing. My face gets dry really easily so after I washed it off I could feel it getting dry, but not as bad as other products. I sprayed my toner on, then my Lapis face oil. In the morning - oh my word. I felt like I could have walked right out of the house no make up. I felt positively radiant. I have been dealing with some breakouts recently, which causes redness. And I honestly felt like things had improved overnight. I have only used this a couple of days, so I’ll update later...but I am so impressed. This mixed with my Herbivore stuff I think I’m set. If you’ve got some concerns about unbalanced skin etc...GIVE THIS A TRY. Will check out other Tata products now.

Let me start off by saying that I recently quit my job so spending $68 on a cleanser REALLY REALLY hurt me...physically and mentally. I debated and debated buying this for days. I am SO GLAD I DID BECAUSE it is totally paying off!!! I don’t get a ton of acne, but when I do, I scar very easily, get dark marks all the time, and with summer I get lots of blackheads I can’t get rid of. I’ve tried so many cleansers, acne treatments, masks, peels, voodoo, praying to the Sephora Gods, essentially everything...and nothing really works. BUT, THIS stupidly expensive cleanser has cleared up my skin significantly in just 3 days. I don’t know what kind of magic is bottled up in this thing but it actually works. I’m excited to see what my skin will look like in 2 weeks. I still think it’s incredibly expensive, but it might actually be worth it!!!!

I’ve been using this for I think a couple weeks now and I love it. The cooling sensation feels great after wearing makeup all day and my skin doesn’t feel stripped. I started out using the resurfacing mask, fell in love with that, and thought I’d try this since it’s made for blemishes and oily prone skin. The only negative I have are the prices. I would LOVE nothing more than to switch over to this brand entirely but the prices are horrendous.

I have combo skin (more oily now in my 30s than used to be in my 20s). I get hormonal acne on my chin. Ugh. Not a lot of stuff helps to clear hormonal acne but Tara clarifying cleaner has deff helped more than anything else I’ve tried. I still get the odd pimple on my chin which i think is unavoidable unless you go to a derm and take meds for it....but my skin is so much better than before After using this. No derm required. It’s pricy but I figure if you factor in all the acne creams and jumping from cleanser to cleanse to find what works you may as well save the money and buy something effective. Would totally recommend this! Also smells so natural / I really like that!

I have oily / combination skin and have been looking for a cleanser that leaves me with a matte finish, but doesn’t feel like my skin is dried out. Tried the Tata Harper Clarifying Cleanser and I am obsessed! It has changed my skin in just 1 week! And the scent is so fresh and amazing ... I love it!

In my late twenties my acne has become a major concern. I haven’t been able to find any product that addressed this without totally drying out my skin. Immediately after using this new product My skin felt so clean and refreshed and my redness and irritation was reduced. I love using this cleanser with Tata’s Clarifying Mask- the two together totally transform my skin. I’m hooked!

« Actually worth the price you pay! »

I honestly never thought I would find a cleanser that worked. I REALLY never thought I would find one that exceeded my expectations. I’ve used high-priced cleansers before so I was hesitant to try this one only to throw it away after a month. Y’all: the reviews are LEGIT. I was in the dermatologist’s office EVERY MONTH to have professional microdermabraision to help my adult acne (I’m almost 38) and hyperpigmintation from the old acne. I didn’t have widespread acne, but I almost always had a deep zit around my mouth or chin that just about required surgery to eradicate. Since I started using this cleanser, I’ve cancelled my microderm appointments and have been able to completely stop my prescription acne creams (which insurance no longer covered btw) and the random zit I get heals quickly and the scars dissapear even quicker. I have found the gold standard in my skincare routine and will NEVER be without this again.Did I mention I’ve only been using this cleanser for a month? And I started noticing a difference after a WEEK. Trust me. This green bottle is worth it. You truly only need one pump, twice a day.

I love this cleanser. I rarely write reviews, i’ve been trying different cleanser for two years and none have come close to this. It cleared up my skin in two days ! And my face has been consistently clear since. I pair it with the regenerating cleanser in the am. I know it’s pricey for a cleanser but it has saved my skin ! Worth the money !!

Evens out skin tone, calms redness, leaves skin soft and matte! Does what it says!! Freaking expensive!!! I’m being stingy with this. Strictly, only in the mornings 1-2 pumps.

« Not for everyone »

I had really high hopes for this cleanser after finally taking the plunge to buy it. First use seemed pretty great, I liked the smell, consistency was thin but ok, and the cooling sensation left my skin feeling very clean. Fast forward 24 hours and I start developing large painful pustules on my chin and jaw area. They started popping up one at a time and then two at a time. At first I thought the product might be purging my skin but after a few days it was so bad that I had to run out to buy another cleanser and some products to try to calm down the breakouts. While my skin is prone to blemishes, I have never experienced acne like this in my life. I hate to leave a bad review but I wish I had paid more attention to the 1 star reviews since others have experienced this as well.

This cleanser transformed my skin in three days!!! After weeks of dealing with hormonal chin and jaw acne that seemed to be getting worse no matter what I tried, I switched to using this along with the Nourishing Oil Cleanser from Tata. I was worried this one would be too drying for my skin and heard that all of Tata’s products can be mixed. This is exactly the combo my skin needed. My skin feels incredibly smooth and matte after I use this, to the point where I want to keep touching my face! Any texture I had on my skin before is gone and my breakouts have diminished a great deal. Again—I’ve only been using this for THREE DAYS. This cleanser and the Nourishing Oil Cleanser are straight up magical.

Since purchasing Tata Harper’s Clarifying cleanser my face has become clear and radiant. I have also noticed the cleanser has help with my pigmentation, my skin has become more toned. I love the cool feeling it gives when applying on dry skin. It has a nice lather when I rinse it off. Definitely recommending this project to all my oily/acne prone skin friends.

As upset as I am that this product has increased in price by four dollars with no formula change or increase in amount of product, I will still continue to purchase this God send. I used to only use this at on long days that I was wearing heavy makeup (because it’s so pricey!) but after seeing the beautiful results, I’ve began using it day and night and my skin has never looked better. This cleanses so well without leaving my skin squeaky and uncomfortably clean/dry feeling. I apply it with dry hands on a dry face and massage it into the skin, then rinse off with warm water. It then lathers to a soft foam, and it smells clean and minty. If I need a really deep clean, I will use a facial brush as I’m rinsing with water. This cleanser balances my skin, leaving it refreshed and bright, and free of texture, especially when I use my facial brush (about once or twice a week). Using one pump twice a day doesn’t stretch the product very long in my opinion which is kind of disappointing considering the price but I cannot be without this cleanser and I would recommend it to any normal or oily-skinned person who is looking to combat acne, blemishes, or texture.

This cleanser is top notch. I love Tata harper masks and moisturizers, but I haven’t found any of the other cleansers to really suit my skin type. This clarifying cleanser, however is a game changer! It smells amazing, a little goes a long way, and after my face feels clean but not dry (or oily!).

It’s definitely worth quickly googling this brand. Not only is it all natural, it works Fast! I use this and double cleanse in the evening with the Nourishing oil cleanser and it’s VERY nice. It’s different than any other acne prone product Ive tried as it doesnt cause any dryness.
