What can I say? Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel never fails me. I’ve been using Clinique forever but lately I had been hearing that it wasn’t the best for older (63) skin. So I went out and tried 3 or 4 brands touted to be the best for mature skin. SURPRISE, they weren’t. Clinique you never fail me!PS. Even my 37 year old daughter had to admit, Mom knows best.

I have extremely oily skin-even in the winter which in turn causes many breakouts even though I’m in my 30’s. Oily skin with breakouts in my 30’s makes me feel dirty and unfresh. After going through many products, reading many reviews, I took a chance and bought Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. It’s description seemed to fit me needs. It has made all of the difference.I apply 2 pumps of the gel in the morning and it is the perfect amount to moisturize my face & neck area. It has a light fresh clean scent, it is very lightweight on the skin, & absorbs very quickly. My face feels clean even after applying it.My face stays oil free through my 8 hour work day and after-until I get home at night & I wash it.It’s winter and I usually used to breakout and my skin became so dull so I HAD to wear make up everyday but since usung this moisturizer everything has changed. My face is clear with absolutely no blemishes, and my complexion is brighter & softer. I haven’t had to use make up in months. I do not know what I would do if this product was to ever be discontinued. It took me along time to find it and I can’t live without it.

I wanted to love this....I really did. Upon using it for about 5 days I started breaking out all over my face....in places I usually never break out. I am very annoyed. Anyway, I purchased the Moisture surge gel instead. It is more expensive, but it’s worth it. Plus, this product wasn’t even moisturizing to my skin :/ Avoid if you have acne prone skin.

I absolutely love this moisturizer! It’s by far the best I’ve ever tried. In the past I’ve broken out just looking at other moisturizers, but this one is perfect for my oily acne-prone skin. It doesn’t really feel like a gel to me, but I suppose it’s slightly more gel-like than Clinique’s DDM Lotion. I actually like the DDM Lotion too, but this is much better for my skin type. It absorbs quickly--I’m ready for the next step in my routine as soon as I put down the bottle. It’s not at all greasy, and it smells fine. It also leaves a nice soft velvety feel. The only downside is the packaging. It looks pretty, but the hard, boxy, bulky bottle is difficult to travel with, and I end up having to leave it propped upside down to get the last of the product out. It would be better in a tube or jar. But I love it so much I’d probably buy it even if it came in a Ziplock sandwich bag.

I absolutely ADORE this moisturizer. This is actually my FIRST EVER moisturizer and i think this is Holy Grail worthy. It is so light and weightless and i can already feel the difference in my skin after just a few minutes! I thought it was going to be oily when i first put it on, but once i started priding it on, i couldn’t even feel it. This is ABSOLUTELY perfect if you have oily skin or acne. I usually never write reviews but i just had to because i had to tell everyone about this amazing product.

After using the Clinique line for a long time I noticed that my skin kept getting worse and worse. It started to get red and flaky, it hurt and was dried out. This brand is old and that’s why people think it’s good. It’s not and their products are alcohol based. I needed MAJOR repair and it took months to get my skin healthy again. Never using Clinique again. Please spend your money on quality skin care, Clinique isn’t it.

« Not cruelty free, but an amazing product »

This product, in combination with a watermelon toner for oily/combination skin, is basically the only thing working for me right now. I have suuuper sensitive oily/combination skin that breaks out easily and seems to develop new allergies constantly. I wish Clinique was a cruelty-free brand which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five. I try to avoid using them but this moisturizer is honestly the only thing I’ve come across that I can use. Until I find something to beat it, I’ll have to keep buying.

I have oily skin and used to have acne. I had tried every drugstore product and Sephora product but this moisturizer just changed everything for me! My skin feels amazing after I apply it, I’ll never choose any other moisturizer in my life! If you have oily acne prone skin, this may be your solution however it may not be, I can only speak for myself but I definitely recommend you at least try it out! It can be so frustrating not finding “your” moisturizer but trust me you will soon you just have to keep trying products out!

I’ve been using the clinique dramatically different lotion since I was 15... I’m 32 now... when clinique came out with the gel, I was all over it. I love the feeling on my skin. The gel tends to be for Oiler skins, but my skin is dry and I just love it. This little mini is good for traveling or tossing in your purse when your face feels a bit dry. For the price, this is definitely a steal!

« Doesn't work. And ingredients issues?? »

I really really wanted this to be the right moisturizer for me. I heard so many great things and reviews about it. I went and bought it and it just... doesn’t work. Right after I applied it, my skin still felt a little tight and kind of like it just disappeared after I put it onto my face, in a bad way.There’s that and the fact that Sephora doesn’t seem to bother including the ingredients list? Funny how that works... I checked it out myself and found a few worrying things: Silica, Laureth-23, & Laureth-4. Use it at your own risk. I will not be buying this again or recommending it to anyone.

« Broke me out terribly! »

This moisturizer broke me out! I was using another Clinique moisturizer that is currently discontinued and I purchased this in the small trial size to try it out and after a few days I noticed my skin breaking out, I thought it was my period (because I’m irregular I couldn’t tell) and after 3 days of real bad acne and no period I figured it must’ve been this product since I had not changed anything else in my skin care except this.

guys please take the time and scan through the ingredients in this product. there is no benefits for the skin despite it temporarily feeling great while you use it.

I don’t even have oily skin, all I know is this stuff doesn’t feel like it suffocates my skin. What I use this for is my morning moisturizer. After washing my face with the Ole Henricksen Red Tea Cleanser or the Origins Frothy Face Wash or the Korres Milk Proteins Cleanser, I douse my face in Boscia’s Balancing Tonic and then apply 2-3 pumps of this stuff all over my face and neck. It doesn’t make me look shiny, and the best part is, it sinks into my skin so fast that I’m not bothered about putting makeup on overtop. The only reason I took off a star is this: IF YOU HAVE CRACKED OR BROKEN OPEN SKIN FROM A SUNBURN OR HEAVILY DRIED SKIN DO NOT USE THIS. IT BURNED THE HECK OUT OF MY FACE WHEN I WAS SUNBURNT

« Great for super oily skin! »

Great I love it!! Helps a lot to control oil through the day with my foundation, penetrates super fast! The only problem i need a little more the feeling of moisture in my skin and u don’t get that, i decide to use it during the day and use a better moisturizer for night time but overall if u have oily skin this is great!
