Guava Vitamin C Bright-Eye Gel Cream

Most of the reviews were written in the past few days. That seems odd & has made me question the timing with the marketing campaign.

« Excellent morning eye awakener »

I always look for a daytime eye cream with caffeine, because I always wake up with puffy eyes, & due to 3 small children, I often have dark circles. I like this cream because 1. It’s more like a light gel-cream & does not make my eye area feel greasy, 2. It actually de-puffs my tired eyes, and 3. It doesn’t interfere with makeup or make my sunscreen pill. It keeps my undereye moisturized so concealer doesn’t fall into my fine lines, too. I love the little pump but sometimes it’s hard not to pump out too much - if I do, I just put it all around the eye area & mouth area, where I have other fine lines.

« Good cream, poor container. »

I like this cream, I noticed my skin looked much brighter after a couple of days of using it. However, the container makes it so that a lot of the cream goes to waste. The pump stopped filling with cream after less than a month of using it and I thought I had finished it. I took the pump off and found that it had not finished but the pump/straw wasn’t able to catch the sides of the bottle. Very poor design for a luxury product.

« Packaging awful, can't get product out »

Ok eye cream, hydrating but no real brightening despite regular use. The real downside is the packaging. After using the product for a week, can no longer get product out! There is so much left in the bottle and pump does not work. Having to scoop it out with a toothpick to not waste it. Such a shame. Love other glow recipe product, but they really need to redesign the packaging.

This is an honest review by a paying customer not by influencer ….this eye cream is ok nothing to write home about …it’s actually very sticky feeling when applied and concealer goes on terrible

« Disappointing packaging »

The product is ok, but the packaging sucks. Even though it’s 3/4 full, I have a really hard time making the pump work. It seems to be too thick for the pump, just like the Watermelon Body Cream. It’s frustrating. It is a rich, moisturizing cream, if they could just improve the packaging (and ditch the pump), it’d be great.

The cream is great. I love it. It definitely brightened my dark circles and its moisturizing. I wish the packaging was better quality. The pump broke pretty much right away so l have to use q tip to get the cream out.

« Disappointing to say the least »

Sadly this product was very disappointing. The pump is very short and in a little over a week of using this cream daily, no product would come out. I tried it again, same situation. I will not be repurchasing. For the price, I expect to get more than one week’s use.

It’s a nice consistency but I haven’t noticed anything earth shattering on my 52 yr old eyes. Good hydration and would consider buying again but nothing truly stands out to make it a must have.

Do you want a brighter, smoother undereye? Get Guava! The vitamin c in this formula is brightening and firming, erasing my dark circles and making makeup application easy breezy. I really like how easy this light gel formula absorbs, moisturizing without any greasy feel. A touch of concealer is all that I need before I go about my day!

« Decent eye cream but not a miracle worker »

New eye cream from glow recipe! It’s a silky texture that applies and sinks into the skin pretty quickly. It keeps my eye area soft but does not do much in terms of brightening or fine lines. I’ve used this for 10 days so far and haven’t noticed any change. If you want a basic eye cream for moisture and soothing the eye area, this is it. Looking for changes? I don’t know if this is it based on my experience.

I liked the product, and would continue to buy it, except for the packaging design. The cream is thick and the bottle is a pump, and since it is thick, the cream does not move so you cannot get all of your product out of the bottle, it is a very poor design, and I will not be buying more which I am

This product is horrible. I don’t have overly sensitive skin but it made my under eyes and eyelids dry. Beware of positive reviews made by unverified purchasers. Does not brighten.

« Perfect day cream »

It’s a thick serum with a lovely fruity smell. I use this during the day and the avocado retinol at night...they work wonder together! It has absolutely helped to hydrate under my eyes I look so much more...alive! Love this. Ladies & gentlemen: For all complaints about dark circles, as an aesthetician, I can tell you that NO MARKETED PRODUCT will correct dark circles--don’t put the blame on Glow Recipe. The only solution for dark, deeo circles, is fillers. But if you do not have massive dark circles, I still recommend this as a day eye cream paired with Glow’s Avocado night retinol eye mask. You cannot make a proper review after “two days.“ A proper review takes months. I’ve been using this for two months, and of the day eye creams I’ve had, Only eye cream I prefer La Mer, but it isn’t that much more impressive. This is affordable and WORKS. Again, deep dark circles cannot be corrected by ANY eye cream. They are shadows due to crevices in the eye are. This product deserves a 5 star revew!

Unfortunately, I’m going to have to return this. I had high hopes for this eye cream, but it doesn’t do anything for my under eyes. I liked the consitency/thickness of the cream - and a little goes a long way, but I have major issues finding an eye cream that doesn’t irritate my eyes. Seems as though every eye cream I purchase has to go back. So back to the drawing board for me. Only Kiehl’s Avocado Eye Cream works at this point.
