« Love. Checked "balls" w/a microscope - dead skin! »
This stuff is fantastic. My skin was so soft and smooth after the first time I used it I made my husband come feel my face. I also wondered if it was a gimmick so took it to work and made a few slides of the balled up stuff to check with the microscope. Some goo, but lots of epidermal cells! I seriously love this stuff!!! Thank you PTR.
« REALLY? »
What you are “peeling“ is cellulous, which is wood fiber. What you “see“ is the product balling up as you rub it. What you “feel“ is silicone and other ingredients that stay on your skin to give it SLIP. This does not remove excess skin. This does NOT correct, heal, fix. It simply leaves a manmade finish on your skin. Buy a real scrub to remove dead skin and leave this to the people who simply want their skin to feel nice, without changing it or healing it.
« If I could give 6 stars, I would »
AMAZING! You will never have such a gentle yet thorough exfoliation. This beat my microdermabrasion treatment, I kid you not. If they ever stop making this, I will ball my eyes out and sit with my dead, sad skin on my face.
« Absolutely phenomenal. »
I almost didn’t review this product because I am almost embarrassed to admit how clogged my large-pore combination oily apparently was before use. I have spent hundreds, if not thousands on scrubs, facials, pore strips, clay masks ect. My clarisonic brush was the gold standard with my skin, but this takes it to a whole new level. Since I was about 10 I’ve had large pores on the bridge of my nose which have constantly been clogged and blackhead ridden. My clarisonic kept it manageable but not perfect.I also get terrible blackheads on my chin and forehead. Even after pore strips came off looking like a porcupine I would still have issues with clogging the next day. When I bought this on a whim I thought it would be like the Boscia black rubberizing mask (which worked pretty well) that dried on my skin and peeled off. This is like a face scrub with no scrub to it. As soon as I began massaging this into my skin, white clumps began forming, with the consistency of wet Kleenex. I am embarrassed to disclose how much the peel got off my skin... But lets just say with one use almost half of my difficult to remove blackheads were dissolved and my large pores were the best I have ever seen them without makeup on. I am hoping it continues to work as well as the first time. It is magic in a tube.

This stuff is awesome for the days where you need a quick exfoliation without having to leave it on for a longer period like a traditional peel. For extra exfoliating it recommends spreading across the your face and letting it set for 1-5 minutes then rub the product to clump up the dead skin. Yes the product does clump a little even without dead skin, but it’s supposed to grab at the dead skin. I’ve used this when my skin didn’t need a lot of exfoliating and it only clumped a little. I also used it after 2 weeks of not exfoliating and boy did it clump up. And both times were after washing my face thoroughly. Dry patches were much improved and had hardly any dead skin left over them. Next time I used it it let it set for a few minutes before rubbing and my skin was baby butt smooth. This stuff does work, trust me.
I use this gel lightly all over after exfoliating first with either the Sephora pore scrubbing pad or my Clarisonic, with a little more focus on my problem areas (for me that’s dry patches on my cheeks and the bridge of my nose). It works better than anything I’ve ever used to exfoliate those key areas. The gel, which balls up/pills on the skin, does do that to a certain extent on any skin you apply it to. It reacts with the skin and the product itself balls up. However, it takes a decent amount of dead skin with it -- something I’ve tested by using this gel on regular skin and on skin that I’ve lightly exfoliated using the Sephora pore scrubbing pad. On skin that’s already been lightly exfoliated, the product balls up significantly less, suggesting that a decent amount of the product that balls up *is* dead skin.As I said, I use this product after I gently exfoliate with another method, and I would highly recommend others use it the same way because it makes the bottle last longer because you don’t need as much product. It really smooths the areas that other exfoliators just can’t -- for the first time in my life, I’m able to wear foundation on my nose in the winter without it flaking off in patches.
« Fake Exfoliation Action »
Used a few different peeling gels from Japan and Korea before so I know how the skin cells should clump up as they peel off. This gel leaves a grainy residue on the skin, but none of the ones I used before would do this. As an experiment, I rubbed it with only a butter knife on a glass surface (without touching it with my skin at all), surprised to find the “skin“ clumps on the butter knife! I suspect whatever graininess in this product is what clumps up, not my dead skin being removed. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I recieved this as a sample in the “fantasic four set“ and this is a HOAX. It isn’t your skin that is rolling off, it’s the product clumping because of the friction from rubbing it on you face. I know this because put a pea-sized drop of the product on my countertop and used gloves to rub it on the counter top. It clumped the same way it did on my skin. I wouldn’t waste my money on this SCAM. Please test it for yourself ladies.
« Incredible »
Received this product as the 500 point bonus gift. I was so amazed with it, I made my husband try it. Miraculously, my husband encouraged me to BUY it so that we could share it!! (This is a man whose skin care regimen includes bar soap...)
« AMAZING »
I was skeptical of this product at first that It would ’roll’ away skin. However it truly works its not a gimmick. I put some product onto latex gloves no balling up! After using this my skin feels so soft, on the night’s I use this my other products sink into my skin so much better my skin just feels awesome since I’ve started using this. new holy grail ! and its very gentle on the skin
« Accomplishes nothing. »
This product starts to roll into so called “skin balls“ the minute it hits you hand. Leads me to believe it is formulated to simulate rolling off of dead skin instead of actually removing dead skin. Skin does not feel refreshed or smoother after use. Will be returning.
« HOLY GRAIL - only thing that has worked »
I normally wait and test a product for awhile before reviewing, but this couldn’t wait. I went in to a Sephora looking for help with a foundation. He tried a foundation on half of my face and while the color was great, it looked awful because of all the dry flaky skin. After seeing my frustration he got this, used it on the other half of my face, used the same moisturizer and foundation and WOW. I have NEVER been able to see instant results until now. My skin was visibly smoother. Was it the mask that pills up on my face? Probably. But it did take skin with it. Once I bought it and got home I used it all over my face again. The side I had just done barely clumped up but the other side instantly started to clump and peel. My foundation has gone on so much better. I plan on using this daily at first and then hopefully I can use it maybe twice weekly to maintain. My skin is very sensitive and I have mild rosacea so anything with the word “peel“ sounds terrifying, but this did nothing but cool and soothe my face. Sitting here typing this 15-20 min later, my face still feels amazing.Worth every. single. penny.
« Life Changing! »
I am almost 30 years old and suffer from terrible hormonal acne. I have tried just about every skin care product out there. Within 2 weeks of using this product 3 days a week, my skin has significantly improved! No, the white balls are not just dead skin as some people claim, but even after my first use I could tell an immediate improvement in the appearance of my skin. I have very sensitive, combination skin and this product did not irritate me too much. Five stars and my highest recommendations!
« It's weird, but cool! »
It’s really strange. When I saw the dead skin rolling off, I was amazed! But the result was nice. Beautiful new skin!I did use this (strangely enough) for the callous on my feet. It ate that away and left soft feet!
« Not real »
This product doesn’t actually peel your dead skin cells, those littles clumps is the actual product it self. I was so excited to purchase this from reading all the reviews that when I tried it for the first time I was amazed by it. It wasn’t until I let my mom use it she told me this isn’t our skin peeling. She ended up putting some on a clean mirror moving her fingers in circular motions and the same clumps that form on your face formed on the mirror too.
