« Too big »

I bought this for an upcoming trip to help me sleep. While the silk felt nice on my skin, the elastic strap is way too loose & can’t be adjusted. Making it worse is the back strap is also covered in silk, which caused it to slide down my head. Overall, this was a bust - too big (on my big head) and would not stay in place.

« Don’t wash it »

I washed by hand with cold water and PH neutral detergent my sleep eye mask and lost the fluffiness inside. It got super flat! I love the SLIP pillowcases and the eye mask felt like a dream until I washed it :(

« Not worth the $$$ »

This is an OKAY sleeping mask. When you first get it, it’s really soft and the elastic in the band fits comfortably and doesn’t tend to move around on me. However, after a month of use and after just 1 wash, the sleep mask is not even close to how to was when I first received it. It becomes less silky very fast, it loses it’s shape and the band becomes more stretched out (which is probably why so many people say it doesn’t stay in place) and it overall just doesn’t hold up well. I would pay no more than $20 for this. It’s still a nice sleep mask, it’s just overpriced and doesn’t hold up well. *Side note: I sleep with a LOT of acne cream on (white cream that is very thick) and it transfers onto the sleep mask and with a little bit of water it comes off very easily and looks as if it was never there -Only the black shade, idk about the others.

In the 10 years since I started sleeping with mask’s, I have bought A LOT. This is my second slip mask. First one was pink but now I have the black one. Go with the black one, trust me. I also have the pillow case. I dye my hair bright blue so the black mask/case is a must to avoid color transfer. It is really really comfortable to wear and I do manage to keep it on the entire time I am sleeping. I’ve noticed a huge difference in the health of my hair and the moisture of my skin while using these. The only downfall I can think of is the care and cleaning taking a long term toll on the quality. I handwash using delicate wash but after so long, the fabric takes a hit. Truthfully the pink mask lasted me a year so I would say it’s definitely worth it.

Very soft and hardly notice I’m wearing it.... Until it wakes me up at night because it’s slipped off or when the sun rises and light starts leaking in. Wish I’d paid more attention to the reviews before purchasing because it was not money well spent. There are luxurious masks for less out there.

« I am obsessed with this sleepmask! »

This sleepmask comes in an attractive case, and the mask itself is incredibly soft. Other sleepmasks I’ve had in the past always came off of my head as I slept, but this mask stays put all night long! It’s thick, plush, and is wide; no light can penetrate it and disturb me while I sleep. I’m seriously in love with it, and recommend it to everyone. I will say, though, that the strap is not adjustable. If your head is a little smaller, I would probably purchase this with caution.

« Epic Fail »

I have chronic sleep issues & must sleep with an eye mask; unfortunately with all other brands out there, the elastic strap was causing damage to my hair. I saw where elebrity Molly Sims praised this on her blog & I (foolishly!) bought it before reading user reviews. The positive? The quality of the silk; & the fact that the strap was silk-covered as well eliminated the hair-damaging problems of the past. The cons? The strap is not adjustable in the least & even from the get-go, it was too large for my head! Couple that with the fact that elastic does indeed stretch with time, it will only get increasingly too large, again, with no option for adjusting the fit. I ordered the pretty caramel color, but other reviewers are correct, the padding is too thin & the color too light, to effectively block out the light. Factor all this in with the (ridiculously) high price, and I found it to be a complete waste of my $$. It has the potential to be a fine product, but they need to go back to the drawing board on the design!

I SO wanted to love this luxurious and silky sleep mask. It is so soft and fit my head perfectly. The quality was high and the packaging was elegant. Sadly it slipped off my head repeatedly during the night causing me to wake up, disrupting my sleep. I tried for three nights. Same thing! And there is no way to adjust the band. Sadly I can’t use it at night at all because it ruins my sleep patterns. The quality and beauty rate the three stars and also it might’ve nice for travel on a bus or plane. So sad it let me down.

Agree w everyone. It can’t be adjusted and is too big. Always falls off of me during the night. Feels great on and is good quality but needs band adjuster so you can make it big your head.

« Good but not Great TBH »

I wish I had gotten the sleepmask in black instead of pink since one of my main concerns is that the products stain easily on the silk. Even though I always remove my makeup there’s been some mascara residue and eyeliner residue that has transferred and I can’t seem to get it off. It helps me falls asleep, but I never wake up with it still on, because it doesn’t stay very well on your face if you move around a lot.

The material is lovely but it’s not one size fits all. Too small for my head. Maybe consider male customers?

« Changes after you wash it »

I’ve only had this mask for a couple weeks now and have used it about 4-5 times now. It feels comfortable on the face but it does have a tendency to come off throughout the night. However, my biggest concern with the mask is how it flattens out once you wash it. I washed it according to the instructions by hand with cold water and the Slip silk soap and laid it flat to dry on a towel. Regardless of following instructions, it became extremely flat. It will never be as fluffy as it was when I first took it out of the box. I’m not sure how you’re actually supposed to clean this if this is what happens when you wash it.

« Luxury »

First of all, I got the sleep mask in charcoal, which is a beautiful,dark grey, velvety color. The actual silk that is used to make the fabric itself is EXTREMELY soft and the inside is filled with a plush down-like material that provides some cushion. In addition, I like having the strap, as it ensures that your sleep mask stays on throughout the entire night. There is no elastic band inside the strap, which helps to prevent any kinks or creasing in your hair (still, I prefer to put it on like a headband, so the strap sits at the base of my hair.. great for a little extra volume). The strap is very stretchy and not tight, and the sleep mask absorbs an extremely minimal amount of your eye cream. Overall, I LOVE this product, although I will admit it is definitely a luxury, not necessary. I am not sure how high it’s anti aging qualities are, but I assume that you will only see a difference if you already sleep with a regular (cotton) sleep mask. This product, as previously stated, is not essential, however if you have the extra money to spend and have some kind of interest in this product, I would recommend buying it, as the quality is truly superb and luxurious.

At first I loved this mask, however, after two weeks of using it, the eyelashes on my upper lid are completely destroyed.

« Nice but does not stay on my face while sleeping »

This is a very nice sleep mask and it feels really nice against my skin. The strap on the eye mask has elastic but is not adjustable to fit smaller heads. So this mask is very loose on me and will not stay on my face while I’m sleeping. Because it’s loose even the slightest movement of my head will cause the mask to shift on my face and so it’s not very good at blocking out light.
