« Good, but note detox means detox »
Very deep clean, gentle enough for dry skin as long as you hydrate quite deeply afterwards (the sheet mask is a good idea if you have the means; otherwise a face oil works well). However, do be warned: detox really means detox with this stuff. If there’s something deep in your skin that you’re not proud of, be prepared for a few whiteheads on the surface after the first or second use. They go away.

I was absolutely blown away after using this mask just once. I got a sample of this and a sample of the Origins retexturizing mask wit rose clay, and this Caudalie detox mask blew the Origins one out of the water. This mask got rid of the blackheads and impurities in the pores of my nose (I just came back from China and my skin was congested from all the pollution) AND left my skin smooth and moisturized. I have severely dry skin that often flakes in the winter, and this mask didn’t dry out my skin one bit. I also noticed my pores were tightened and my complexion was smoother. I went out and bought the full size yesterday because no mask/scrub/treatment has ever compared to this. People with dry, sensitive skin must give this a try if you’re looking for a purifying mask!

Oh my god this stuff is incredible!! I bought it just last week and I can already see a considerable difference in the size of my pores! Although, I do use it more than twice a week. I’m terrible at following directions on things, so I’ve been using this stuff just about every night and it’s made such a difference. I had big acne bumps on my cheeks and chin when I started using this, a week later.. GONE!! Love this stuff!! Definitely repurchasing!!

I’ve tried many masks including Glam Glow (underwhelming) in my search for a product to reduce blackheads and yet not strip my normal-skin-type cheeks. Wow. Just wow. Used it yesterday for the first time and I’m still going to the mirror to look at my nose. My pore clogged nose is visibly cleaner. Except for those nose strips, I’ve never seen such a dramatic difference with the blackhead situation on my nose. Used one of those strips about a week ago and even though that might have made yesterday’s job easier, I still found the Caudalie mask to pull out more dirt. Use a thin layer. I plan to use it just on my nose and chin when needed, and less often on my cheeks. Love this brand.

yeah i love this. it’s certainly pricey for what it does but i think it’s a solid clay mask that’s never irritated my skin (sometimes a problem with other clay masks). i was *influenced* by one of the kardashians (idr who) into buying this and yeah it’s probably that family’s best contribution to society

I have really oily skin and the mask left me with a relaxing deep clean feeling!! My skin felt so soft, clean, and my complexion even looks brighter! I’M SO IN LOVE!!! Definitely give it a try!!! I love this mask! I notice a huge different right after I use it every time and the day after I use it I wonder why my skin looks so good and then I remember that I used this mask! I have dry, sensitive skin and this mask never gives me a problem. My skin is always glowing after I use this!

This worked beautifully to clear my huge, oily pores. It doesn’t feel tight or chalky like some clay masks; it has an excellent texture and feel. You only need a thin layer so it lasts forever!

I bought full size after trying a sample. I have a combination skin and use clay masks to minimize the pores. I love the texture goes on smoothly and dries evenly. Smells very nice - very pleasant and natural. The most important - it works: when using it, I feel tickling especially on the nose; then when it dries, it gets into the pores. And after I wash it off, pores are less noticeable.

This is a pink clay mask formulated to pull out all the dirt in your pores to the surface. However, the formula is very lightweight and thin, comparable to a gel. It says to apply a thin layer, and I used a clean foundation brush to apply it over my face, but I could see where some people might overuse the product amount because it is SO thin and almost pink translucent on the skin. However I fought the temptation of applying more over the same areas of my face again and let it dry for just 10 minutes.Now, with any kind of drying/clay/charcoal mask you don’t want to leave it on for too long because it creates a pulling effect which in turn creates wrinkles.When I washed it off my face felt smoother and looked more bright and dare I say, clarified? Something about my skin looked so much more “clarified.“I do have the GlamGlow mask in the Youthmud and the white jar, and the work is definitely comparable, but the prices are obviously different. I would say, however, that if you have sensitive skin I would opt for Caudalie as it doesn’t have a tingling (some people say burning) sensation as glam glow does.For best results, I apply these steps for my mask routine:Wash the face thoroughly, either by hand or clarisonic. Pat dry.Spray Caudalie Grape Water and then Beauty Elixir over face and pat to absorb the product on the skin.Apply an eye cream just a bit thicker to act as an under eye mask.Apply the actual mask according to instructions, rinse off when necessary.**if using a drying mask like a clay or charcoal, I follow up with a Korean Sheet Mask to hydrate the skin and force it to absorb nutrient rich serum.Spray one more time with Grape Water and Beauty Elixir and pat into skin.Apply serum (currently using Caudalie Vinoperfect) and pat into skin.Apply eye cream as normal.Apply Moisturizer and lip balm.If needed apply sunscreen (my fav is DermaQuest ZinClear SPF 30)Hope this helps!

I used this a few times on my whole face in the first week I got it, thinking it would just gently remove blackheads like a lot of the reviews claim. I had a full purge and broke out along my jawline, which is where I will get occasional acne. It really gets whatever gunk is in your skin out. Now, instead, I use it only on my nose and forehead (where I have blackheads and wouldn’t get deep pimples), mixed with a moisturizing mask on my trouble jaw area, and it works well in clearing blackheads when used that way. I also use it regularly as a spot treatment. It makes a pimple come to a head within 1-2 days. So the mask is good if you really want things to come to a head, but beware, the purge is real!

One star.. why? This is the second time in my life I’ve used a product that creates wrinkles or makes wrinkles noticeable in my face... I put it only were needed my cheeks nose and forehead. Did not burn . Dried fast. When I washed I saw wrinkles on my cheeks and forehead that I’ve NEVER SEEN. A product from origins did this to me once before. I don’t recommend. I’m only 24 and I want to keep my skin looking young not opposite . I attached a photo. Kind of made my skin look funny and have fine lines. I hope this goes away I’m scared

I was a little iffy on this at first, it definitely makes my skin feel very smooth afterwards(although I definitely recommend either doubling up on moisturizer and/or using a moisturizing mask right after this one--it makes me VERY dry!) but I wasnt sure that it was deep cleaning or minimizing my pores even though i was using 2x a week for 10 minutes like suggested. Tonight I tried leaving it on for 20 minutes and it made the biggest difference!!! I had a ton of black heads and my pores looked huge today after using sunscreen but this mask totally helped! my skin looks flawless now!!! Thanks for yet another AMAZING product Caudalie!

I purchased this on recommendation of an employee while originally coming in to purchase a different item. I was looking for a mask to minimize my pores and was skeptical about spending substantial $$$ on a different product. The employee highly recommended this product so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! Even after one use I can see a remarkable difference! I can’t wait to use it a few more times and see the difference then! You don’t use a lot of product each use so I feel like this will last quite awhile. I’ll be calling the store today to thank the employee!
