I wanted to love this mask — clearly the power of social media, and having friends in high places is the reason this mask has been sold out because it’s not hydrating. It sits on the skin instead of getting absorbed and the reason your skin is smooth, is that you get product residue after wiping it off. Really a waste of money. Makes me wonder if people who’ve raved about it have actually used a mask before.

This broke me out immediately and clogged my pores. If you have sensitive skin this is not for you.

I rate this product a 1 star only because 0 stars is not an option. My skin has spent the past month recovering from the havoc this product has wreaked! I am one of the many who had an instant negative reaction to this “mask,“ which actually is more reminiscent of a cold cream than a true mask. The problems of my combination skin were all exasperated when I used this product: I experienced more frequent (and instant breakouts); my dry patches were drier; my T-zone was oiler; skin pilling like I’ve never experienced with any product; when used as a primer, my makeup slid right off. I even attempted to sleep in it one night as suggested and woke up with my face practically glued to my pillow-case. My husband commented a few days into use how bad my skin was looking and asked if I had been doing anything different! Now I have spent the past month trying to nurture my skin back to health after applying this toxic product. If you have oily or combination skin with larger pores, RUN!

« THE HYPE IS REAL »

Alright, firstly, I have never used a product that doubles as a facial mask and mousturzer. HELLO?? I’m a surfer, so I use this at night and when I wake up, I’m so ready for a full day in the water. I never thought I’d find a product that evens out my complexion AND can stand the waves. AMAZING. I’ve raved about this product to literally everyone I know lol. Mahalo Nui Loa!

« GOOD PRODUCT »

I like this mask. I mainly use it as a daily moisturizer or as an overnight mask. It keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day and night. After I apply, I notice a subtle glow to my skin. Love the packaging and the texture of the product. I’m giving it 4/5 stars because i don’t think it’s revolutionary but it’s a good product.

I really really wanted to love this product. Packaging was kind of cheap and the quality of the pack was not worth the price paid. For the product, I applied a visible layer and it made my skin pill and super greasy. I saw no benefits to the feel of my skin.

« HAD A TERRIBLE REACTION... »

I wanted to love this mask and I absolutely love the concept of not having to wash off the mask. BUT this gave me so much irritation and I even got red bumps kind of like mosquito bites on a couple parts of my face. I don’t even have sensitive skin and this was the only thing different I did that night so I know this was the reason for my reaction. I’m not sure what’s in this that would cause that because I thought it was supposed to be a more clean mask. Very disappointed it didn’t work for me and will be returning it :(

I’ll be honest, I didn’t want to give into the hype of this mask. I use a lot of sleeping masks and rich night moisturizers, so it didn’t catch my attention until I kept hearing SO much about it. I got a sample from my local store to last several days and I was blown away after just a few uses!I have very fair, true combo skin. I’m more slick in the summer, more dry in the winter, but I have my patches of each throughout the year. I have texture on my chin (thanks to the boyfriend’s beard) and pores/texture on my forehead. I use this mostly as a sleeping mask, about a half an inch squeeze of product. It’s very thick, so I spend my time warming it up between my fingers and working it into my skin. And then I give it a solid 20 minutes to warm up and settle before going to bed.When I wake up in the morning, my skin is noticably glowing and plump!! It looks soothed, my natural pinkness is calmed, and my skin is incredibly hydrated. the texture on my chin? GONE, overnight. nothing has been able to heal my chronic beard burn. I am SO impressed with the results I got!I also really love that this is a multi-use product. It’s approved for use around the eyes, so you can take any left over product on your fingertips upwards. I love it for straight out of the shower, as a thicker mask while I do my body care, then rinse and do my usual routine. It has basically replaced my night moisturizers this fall and winter. I’ve also used a very small amount (M&M sized) as a nourishing primer under makeup. If you let it warm up long enough before putting on your base, it applies BEAUTIFULLY and I love how glowy and plump my skin becomes throughout the day. I think it makes my foundation wear great, it looks better as the day goes on instead of breaking down.I highly recommend it, if you have dehydrated skin or want something extra nourishing in your routine. You get a ton of product and you can use it for so many things, it’s worth trying to find a use that works best for you.

« Solid product but not a god-send »

Nice light smell, applies evenly. I use this as an overnight mask when I need additional hydration. Unfortunately haven’t experienced the amazing plumping features as noted by other reviewers but it does work well as a primer.

I don’t get the hype of this mask. I really wanted to love it but it just feels like a big glop of lotion sitting on my face. I’ve been leaving it on overnight for maximum moisture and I don’t see a difference in my skin the next morning. I’ve read that it’s supposed to be amazing for your under-eyes and I have not noticed a change one bit. I feel like you could just leave a thick moisturizer on for the night and get the same results. I’m going back to my other masks :(

I didn’t know anything about this the brand/mask and just bought it on a whim since it was exclusive for Rouge. I used it first time last night after a night cream (meaning I applied over face after wash, tone, serum) left on over night and I gotta say.. I woke up with dewy and hydrated face! It even feels firmer, but I don’t think this mask helps with that? I’m looking forward to using it as a primer as well; I can see how foundation would look amazing over this.

« AMAZING product - HORRIBLE packaging »

I love this mask so much, I prefer using it overnight rather than putting it on for 10 minutes then wiping the excess with tissue. I wake up the next morning and my skin feels so nice and at its best. The one thing I hate about this product that I’m surprised more people haven’t talked about is the packaging. Don’t get me wrong, the bottle and color are so aesthetically pleasing...but once you squeeze some out and put it on the side more just comes out on it’s own. One time I just opened the tube and the size of 2 Hershey’s kisses came out on its own!!! Good thing I had extra mini containers to put the excess out. I want to give this product a 5/5 but if the packaging doesn’t change and will make me waste/use more product than I should, I may consider something else.

« Not good for my Sensitive skin »

I got this product because it states it is good for dry and sensitive skin. My skin is very sensitive, especially on my face. My face was clear but dry when I use the product. As soon as I put it on my face, my face became blotchy, red, and irritated. I had to wash my face multiple times and wait a few hours for it to return to normal.

I ended up returning this product! so disappointed because I heard such good reviews. I have insanely sensitive skin and this turned my face bright red and made it feel hot. I used it twice and it just made my face so red.

« Clean Quencher »

This quenches my skin! I am a flight attendant, and you know how dry your skin is after one day flying. Well, I fly 4-6 days in a row, and let me tell you, it can wreak havoc on your skin. This is a must in my bag. It’s also so gentle that I can use it around my eyes, which are the first to show dehydration. I have combo skin
