I was really hesitant about purchasing this at first, considering all the reviews for it were from people who “received free product“. I caved though, and I have to say this is PERFECT for daytime use. It is everything I want. I live in Florida, where it’s obviously really humid, and I have extremely oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. Most moisturizers leave me looking greasy and/or irritated. However, I applied this during my routine this morning, and now 12 hours later my skin still feels and looks plumped, hydrated, and balanced without the end result of looking like an oil slick. I’m absolutely in love and will definitely repurchase in the future.

« Why does this peel so much? »

They need to put something on the description regarding this peeling after putting it on! I agree with the others that mentioned peeling with AND without make up. I would’ve never bought this… I need someone from Caudalie to respond as to why it peels and is it worth calling this product a moisturizer?

it does hydrate. However, it peels like crazy! I wait to use it after my serum, then i wait to put on my sunscreen. So i have to pad instead of rubbing otherwise it’ll peel sooooo bad!

I have been using this cream for the past two weeks during the day and also at night. I am in love with how healthy, hydrated and smooth my skin looks and feels during the day. I have been using it in my face and neck during the day and at night. It doesn’t feel oily, it has a very soft smell that makes you feel relax. Even though I received this cream as a #freeproduct, and I got to #trywithtopbox, I am sharing my honest opinion in regards to this cream. I am glad I got the opportunity to try it first as I would be missing out on the benefits this cream is currently providing my skin. I definitely recommend you this cream if you are considering new skincare options.

My favorite current moisturizer! It is amazingly lightweight and comfortable. Easily applied and easily absorbed. Very faint, clean fragrance that dissipates almost instantly after application. Makes my skin feel immediately hydrated and gives my face such a beautiful glow. Perfect for combo or oily skin and I LOVE that about it! I use this after Caudalie serum, together they work well. It’s humid here in Chicago so my skin does look greasy at the end of the day, but hasn’t broken out. Caudalie products smell good and this does as well. I like this, seems to keep my skin hydrated all day.

Absolutely love this product on days when I am not wearing make up because it leaves my skin feeling Glowy and plump! However I would not recommend it on a day they are planning on putting make up on it doesn’t allow your make up to set nicely or fully absorb

This has quickly become my go-to summer water moisturizer. Smells amazing. Very comparable to Tatcha which I was a loyal user for the past few years. #freeproduct

« Beware! Pills badly! »

It pills so bad! Even by itself without any makeup! I washed my face, put this cream on to see how my skin will like it. After a while i touched my face and it just pills awfully!! Didn’t even notice any hydration. Idk if i can return the product because i opened and used it :( waste of money for such an expensive cream

I’ve been trying to use this gel for a couple of months but have to stop using it. It peels almost right away and you can’t put make up over it. Won’t be purchasing again.

I know this cream is popular which is why I tried it. But you can’t use it under makeup because it pills and I didn’t notice any particular effects for extra moisture. I still prefer Tatcha water cream. It’s effects are noticeable and lasting and doesn’t pill.

Terrible, just terrible! The smells is too strong, but the worst part of it it’s that it peels off in such a bad way that you have this glue like material shedding off your face. I tried it with different serums and it didn’t work with any of them. Plus is not even hydrating.

The first thing I noticed is that it had a strong fragrance. Then I quickly noticed it pills. It pills a lot. I literally cannot get any use out of this.

I have sensitive combo skin and need moisture but can’t have anything too heavy and this moisturizer is perfect. It’s not too thick for my oily t-zone and has a nice cooling gel-cream texture. I also love the recyclable glass packaging.

I’ve tried so MANY moisturizers for a sensitive, extremely dry, and acne prone skin and never found one that works in all scenarios. Can’t thank the person at the store enough who recommended it!
