80 dollars and the second ingredient is dimethicone. I could feel it, as soon as I put it on my face. Sleeping with silicones all over your face may make your face feel nice, but it’s not healthy for your skin. I’d recommend a cleaner option. I used to love this brand until I started paying more attention to their ingredient list. Super disappointing.

Made my face feel nice and smooth but that’s because the second ingredient is Dimethicone. It is so unhealthy for your skin. I’d rather look for another product with cleaner ingredients that will be beneficial to my skin.

« BE CAREFUL »

I got a free sample of this stuff and used it for 2 nights. It felt SUPER luxurious and smelled great. I wish I had researched the ingredients before using it though, I just figured if it was Dermalogica it must be legit. EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW that the main ingredient is silicone, which is known to clog pores. I have been dealing with one of the worst breakouts of my life the last two weeks. I have at least 7 zits just on my lower face and I’m still dealing with the effects. PLEASE USE CAUTION if you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend not using this!!

« Gross Red Streaks »

Terrible product. After a few months, it started pumping out gross red streaks and particles. For no reason. It kept happening after many pumps. It is well within the 12M usage guideline. Dermalogica refused to help me or replace our refund. Do not buy. It’s going in the trash.

« The scent is too much for me. »

To be fair, I only used this one night so I can’t say if I’ve noticed any benefits. I couldn’t use it again because the odor was too overwhelming. I’m usually one that isn’t bothered by scents but this reminded me of a men’s line because it was a very masculine scent that is so strong I could still smell it when I woke up seven hours later.

I received this product from the Dermstore in a monthly box. I don’t care for this. It’s formulated nicely enough as far as texture and spread ability. The problem is the overwhelming sandalwood scent. Also, I don’t find it hydrating or any other benefits from using this. The packaging is awesome though. I don’t see how sensitive skin or normal skin for that matter can tolerate the level of fragrance this has. I guess that for me aromatherapy and facial skin care do not go hand in hand.

I received this product as a free sample. This stuff is great! Noticeable results after one use. You have to let it dry completely before you go to bed or your face may feel a bit sticky when you lay down on your pillow. Otherwise, this cream works great. Face feels smoother in the morning.

« smells good but extremely poor packaging »

This stuff smells amazing. That’s about the only positive thing I have to say. It’s moisturizing but not extremely or anything special. And the container is awful. I spent $84 and have had it less than a week. I use one pump a night and now I can’t get anything out. This is ludicrous. I’m so disappointed.

I waited about a week and a half after using it to submit my review. It really does make your skin feel amazingly soft and plump. it is not greasy and I did not have any breakouts. It comes in a really cool pump container. I am only giving it 4 stars for two reasons. One is the smell it’s woodsy, I would not mind it but I could still smell it the next morning.Two is the super cute pump that is in. If I am going to pay for an expensive cream I want to be able to open that bottle and scrape every drop of it out. I feel like when the pump no longer works that will be left over and I will have to throw it away.***I was thrilled to receive this complimentary jar for testing purposes.

« Favorite moisturizer! »

This is my favorite moisturizer I have ever used. I have purchased a lot of very expensive moisturizers and skincare regimens but this product out-performs them all. I received a sample size of this and after the first use my face felt completely smooth and moisturized in the morning, like I had just had a facial! I just purchased a full size and while it is pricey, it outperforms the $300 regimens in my opinion. I love the scent, I do not find it to be too strong and it quickly fades. I actually didn’t even realize it was meant to be lavender scented until I purchased the full-size product and read the insert. I will repurchase this product again and again, my skin absolutely loves it!

« An interesting product »

This is more of a sleeping mask than a night cream. With its light texture it’s not particularly moisturizing, but after using it at night my face appears to be smooth and line-free by the morning. However, this seems to be the same cosmetic effect that a primer would give you - as soon as the product is washed off, all the lines reappear. The light scent of lavender and sandalwood took me some time getting used to (I prefer fragrance-free products on my face) but it’s so soothing that I think it might be helping me fall asleep at night. The air-tight packaging, while not luxurious looking, is very sanitary and more likely to protect the content, but since the formula does not contain the more popular and researched anti-aging ingredients, I am not sure if it’s worth paying extra for. Overall, it’s a nice product due to its temporary smoothing and potentially sleep inducing properties. But because of its lack of long term effects and a hefty price tag, I am still undecided if I’ll buy it again.

« Great smell, quick absorbing gel cream »

(Right off the bat - this gel cream is suited for normal combo skin types). This product comes in a cool fold down box packaging and I love that it is the click/pump top. That way the product is released a little bit each time and no wastage or sticking fingers inside the jar grossness. It’s got a calming divine smell which i relate to some Aveda products (but not overpowering at all) and has gel consistency. Initial couple days I didn’t think it was going to be enough for a nighttime moisturizer but I woke up with nice soft skin and no dry patches. My skin is borderline dry, so if yours is normal or combo skin you might wake up glowing. I took off one star because I have to use a lot of this product to counteract the night dryness of my face (Chicago weather) and I will run out quickly. I received this product for testing purposes and this is my honest review after trying it for a week.

« You had me with SANDALWOOD!! »

I love this cream, it soothes and hydrates, BUT mostly I love the fragrance which my sensitive skin is okay with! However, will I pay $82 again for it, probably not - with some other wonderful choices out there, I may treat myself if Rouge gives me a discount to use about the time I run out, basically it is a treat and too expensive for me to want to slather all over my face 7 nights a week. Definitely a wonderful product though and I recommend it highly. If I win the lottery I will buy it every month!!

I have to say that this is a luxury product, it feels so good smoothing on the skin, lavender bursts out and immediately soothes the days worries away! After rubbing it all in it sets down to a super soft NOT sticky feeling while locking in all my previous skincare products. I can’t say that it has done anything to affect my skin one way or the other (no noticeable changes), I love using this product. the packaging is wonderful, the relaxing scent of lavender (which is intense if you do not like fragrance) before bed is wonderful, the super soft skin I have immediately after and when I wake up is wonderful. it is a luxury to use, but I don’t understand the price for what it is, which is why I gave 4 stars. nice sleeping mask, feels great, but I haven’t seen a difference in my skin to make me want to purchase this after I am finished with this (although I will treasure using it all up!). thank you dermalogica and influenster!

« Almost perfect! »

As a 33 year old mom of two with oh so many age/stress lines and wrinkles, I can tell you this product is luxuriously soothing but not the least bit worth the money if you are on a budget. It feels like silk and it smells like heaven and I wish I could use it every night because of the way it makes me FEEL, but it makes zero noticeable difference for my face. Pass if you need real results.
