This is the thickest, richest moisturizer I’ve ever used. They really weren’t joking around when they named this product.I use this at night after my retinol and wake up looking like an actual human being most days, which is saying a lot. It’s so thick it’s difficult to move around on your skin once it’s been applied - but you were patting on your moisturizer already anyways, right?

I’ve always wanted to try Dermalogica products but never got the courage to until I received it for free from influenster. I use this product for a whole month before I did this review my skin before was very. Non elasticity dry now my face has a glow like a pregnancy glow my skin is very bouncy you cannot see any fine line wrinkles and in general the texture of the formula feels like velvet on your face which is incredible. I love the fact that there is no scent. I would definitely recommend this product to any person of color that has hyperpigmentation uneven skin tone dull skin. The product is amazing I will be purchasing it again also works wonders on the neck.!

I opted to buy a less expensive moisturizer... and now I am back to order super rich repair. This stuff really works and works well under makeup. Definitely worth the money. And I am cheap!

« worth the price tag! »

I bought this from Ulta when they were having their beauty sale. It was 50% off and had 5 stars reviews so I gave it a try. It is worth every penny! My skin is so dry that it flakes around my nose. This moisturizer gives me this nice glow. I posted my results on Instagram and had a few people impressed. I really truly love this brand overall and trust them bf this product so much! Did not disappoint AT ALL.

This moisturizer is just SUPERB. I have sensitive skin and I use retin A. Sometimes certain moisturizers will tingle when I apply them onto my face. This doesn’t tingle. I immediately feel it soothing, penetrating and moisturizing my face. It is a very thick cream; however, most of it immediately absorbs into the skin but some is still left sitting on top of your skin to soothe and moisturize those top layers as well. It feels very comfortable sitting on the skin. I adore this cream. My only issue is the price. I use this once a day only at nite and I replace this cream every two months. I never wish to be without this cream but it sure is expensive! My skin looks moisturized, youthful and refreshed in my morning. I’ve noticed that any blemishes or acne heal better while using this creme. My complexion looks even and brighter.

This product is great for dry skin. It really leaves skin feeling moisturized and reduces flakiness. Some people have complained that it is difficult to apply, but it is no different than applying a thick zinc sunscreen that takes some time to absorb (applying to a damp face really helps). From my perspective, this product is a step up from Dermalogica’s Intensive Moisture Balance Moisturizer. That said, 50 ml of this product costs double ($124 +tax) the amount of Intensive Moisture Balance ($64 +tax), and I’m not sure that this product is worth the additional cost... The product does not leave my skin significantly more moisturized than Intensive Moisture Balance. Additionally, I still wake up in the morning with dry patches and flaking skin around my mouth after applying it at night. If you’re mindful about cost but worried about dryness, then use Intensive Moisture Balance and apply 100% pure jojoba oil on top. Jojoba is very similar to sebum (the oil your body naturally produces), so it is usually safe for people with sensitive or acne-prone skin (like myself).

this moisturizer truly saved my life this past winter!! it helped clear my dermatitis while helping me manage chronic dry patches from tret use. although my tret still dries me out and causes my skin to flake, this product is a magical healing tool and usually resolves my dryness within the same day. i normally apply this product as a night cream and always wake up with the most gorgeous glow ✨ my only complaint is that i just wish it was slightly more affordable :(

I honestly look forward to putting this on every night and am scared for the day I run out because it’s so expensive - but definitely worth it! I’m picky about moisturizers and extra picky about anything that claims rich repair because my skin is extremely dry from accutane in my teens and regular tret use. This is gold. Make a jumbo size!!

« Very Thick cream. »

This is the first Dermalogica product that I’m not giving 5 stars. I wish I had paid closer attention to the comments. This cream is extremely thick and doesn’t absorb quickly into the skin. After a few uses, I knew I couldn’t use this as a day-time moisturizer especially in the summer months. I’ll save this and use in the Winter as a night time moisturizer.

Love dermalogica products. This is a rich cream that smells of essential oils and feels so luxurious. It keeps my skin hydrated, soft and plump especially after using retinol/retinoids. Love that it also keeps fine lines at bay and has a pump so you don’t have to dip a spoon or hands into the product keeping its anti aging ingredients stable. So happy Sephora is carrying!

Received this product as a sample to test and love it. Have only used it two nights so far and notice a difference in my skin. Wake up with my skin feeling full of moisture, where a lot of other products just absorb and leave me feeling dry by morning.

« Completely Transformed my Dry Skin! »

If I could only keep one item in my skincare routine, this would be it! Before taking the plunge on this product, I was already starting to see fine lines on my forehead (at 27!). I figured the lines were just part of the normal aging process and there was nothing I could do about it. Boy was I wrong! Within just a week of using this product, my skin looked super happy and hydrated. The fine lines vanished and people are constantly complimenting me on how my skin looks. I’m 30 now and people are shocked when they find out because they think I’m barely old enough to have graduated college. I love this stuff and recommend it to everyone who is struggling with dry or dry combination skin!

« Amazing for very dry skin »

Just heaven. I have very dry skin and this product has totally transformed my complexion. I still use and love the Intensive Moisture Balance product but this moisturizer is next level. It doesn’t feel heavy at all, and I only have to wait about 30 seconds for it to absorb before putting on a finishing powder (which is all I use now because my skin is so much brighter and even). The pump also works well so you don’t have to worry about dispensing too much product at once. Worth every penny!

While this is a super thick moisturizer, as it is so aptly named, I find that it does soak it to my skin nicely. It does take time however but it is totally worth it to me when I need a real boost of moisture. I have dry skin year-round and it gets particularly bad during some parts of the year.
