Hydra Life Cooling Hydration Sorbet Eye Gel

This stuff is amazing! Real cooling/tingle effect, perfect for morning, but I think this is not for very sensitive skin! I am in love with the ceramic applicator!

Water based product with a ceramic head to de puff bags. One of the only eye creams I’ve used to I see major results with and because it’s water based it doesn’t give me more milia

So I’ve got horrible horrible horrible bags under my eyes. I’ve tried every product there is out there and none worked. This product is the only one that has helped me with de puffing them. I use it at night before bed and wake up with no or very minimal puffy bags and eyes.

« Much Different Formula »

I was a huge fan of Dior’s previous Hydra Life Eye Gel Sorbet and was extremely disappointed when it was discontinued. I haven’t decided yet whether I’m going to stick with this product or I’m going to start searching for another eye cream when I finish it up. On the plus side it is very hydrating and does feel cool somewhat. I like the applicator solely because it is much more hygenic than putting your finger directly in the product, you just squeeze out what you need and apply it. However, I’m not in love with the feel of the applicator, sometimes it catches on the skin under my eye, which is obviously very delicate. This is the first time I’ve used an eye cream with an applicator, I’ve always stayed away from them, so it may just be a matter of personal preference. If you are looking for a cooling, hydrating eye product with an applicator then I would definitely recommend it, but it’s definitely a different formula than Dior’s previous Hydra Life Eye Sorbet, so if you’re looking for that specific formula like I was, you’re out of luck. Unfortunately.

« It erased my dark circles in minutes! »

Okay so the mint / cooling sensation lasts for hours, this took me by surprise, I wasn’t aware of this effect what really surprised me was that when I glanced at myself in the mirror I my dark circles were gone ! instead it looked like if I had applied concealer so I tried to wipe it off with makeup remover expecting to find some blue color residues on the cotton swap but nothing ! This eye cream really worked against my under eyes discoloration. Which btw the guys at Dior counter says that it’s a consequence of blue light of my electronics.

Amazing cooling sensation, eye looks awake and feels hydrated and fresh . The best eye cream I used so far.

« Cool dehydrated eyes »

Every time I use this product my eyes were extremely dry in the morning. Even layered a simple hydrating rich eye cream on top of it and the same thing. Applicator carries it sometimes very close to depositing it into eye. Hydration it does not.

I rarely write a review for any product but this eye cream works like magic after 10 minutes of applocation, my under eyes feel cool, refreshed and there is a noticeable reduction of the puffiness and dryness. It illuminized the skin where it was applied lessening the darkness of my eye bags. Highly recommend it to anyone. It stands for what it advertizes, i don’t wear concealer under my eyes anymore because of this product.

« Icy »

Amazing! If you need a de puffing and hydrating eye cream this is it! It has a cool icy feeling that lasts for a long time (I could feel it till I applied my makeup on top). It also helped with puffiness instantly.

Feels good to apply in the morning, but not a life changing product so I will have to return it.. can’t justify the price.

« Not effective »

The original formula was amazing. So amazing that I urged my mom and cousin to splurge on this product. Sadly this new formula isn’t great. I don’t like the applicator at all either. I miss the old product!

I really dislike this, which is too bad because I loved the its hydralife predecessor. This dried out the skin around my eyes and was so minty it made them burn event if I didn’t get it too close to my eyes. I also found the applicator awkward. At the price, I was definitely disappointed.

This eye gel sucks. The cooling applicator doesn’t stay cool and warms up quickly. The only good thing about this eye gel is that it is fragrance free but it doesn’t really do anything to help with reducing dark circles and puffiness.

« Worth the price »

Provides a heavy dose of moisture and is absorbed quickly. I’ve applied this under my eyes at night and the skin feels plumper right away. No eye redness/inflammation in the morning when I wake up.

Wasn’t expecting instant results, but the results were instant! Eyes and dark circles looked brighter, felt the “cooling effect“ for a couple hours. I actually look awake for once!
