The second ingredient in this is dimethicone, after water. I usually avoid products with dimethicone in them because it clogs my pores, but I thought I would try this to help lock in the moisture from all of my creams and potions overnight. I’m not a fan. It feels heavy in a bad way and smells cheap. There are some good ingredients in here but I feel like they are being buried by so much dimethicone. My skin looked fairly plump and glowy in the morning, but it didn’t last after I washed my face and now I have a fine layer of clogged pores on my forehead.I received this product free in exchange for a review.

I love this product! It’s so hydrating but also not heavy. I use it as my night moisturizer. Don’t let the word mask confuse you.

A little goes a long way for this product. A very thin layer of this will last an entire night. I find this super moisturizing for my skin and my skin feels very soft when I wake up. I have super sensitive skin and live in New York where the winter is brutal. So this product really helped me survive the dry air in winter. Great addition to my night care routine!

This sleeping mask reminds me of a creamier, thicker version of the Laneige sleeping mask. I could see this being extremely beneficial for those with dry skin but for someone with oily skin (me), I woke up feeling up a bit greasier than I’d normally like. While I did wake up with plumper skin, I don’t know if it could be attributed to this product alone, or if it was because I just had a thick substance over my face. I could also see this potentially clogging up pores for those with acne prone skin. For those unfamiliar with this “mask“ it’s not really a mask you wash off after a while, it serves as more of a thick cream which you wash off.

I used this nighttime mask for the first time last night. I was a little concerned it might be too oily, but wow, was I surprised! I woke up to skin that felt smooth, fresh, and moist. The scent is nice - not too fragrant, and the product feels light on your face. I realize I’ve only used it once, but I’m very happy with it so far! This product was sent to me for free by Influenster; however, all opinions are my own.

This is a great moisturizer. My favorite quality of it is the texture. At first it feels like a water-gel based cream, but on the face it is simply a lightweight moisturizer which absorbs very nicely into the skin. This made my skin so much softer within a couple days, and I would definitely continue to use it. I pair this along with the Juno Face Oil by Sunday Riley and my skin is definitely much softer and healthier looking the following morning! I was looking at the ingredient list and was a little disappointed to see that the second most high content ingredient in this moisturizer was dimethicone. Dimethicone is a super common used ingredient in many of our facial products. Sometimes it is found in lip balms, but its also in cosmetics like the Porefessional by Benefit and skincare items such as the Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer. When it comes to this ingredient (it is a silicon based polymer) I would be absolutely sure that your skin is completely clean before application. Dimethicone can help with moisturizing the skin and trapping in all essential nutrients, but it can also trap sebum, excess oil, the exposed contents of a pimple-dead white blood cells, sebum, and bacteria. So be absolutely sure that your skin is very cleansed before using this item. I really like the scent too, it smells of lavender, and lightly of lemongrass-but if you are extremely sensitive to smells, this will not harm it. I take off one star because the price is quite high, and when I began using this cream I got very itchy after application on my chin! Those were the only downfalls of this product, but aside from that this is a great sleeping mask/moisturizer!

Unlike many other reviews on here, I paid full price for this item. The product feels good on my skin, smells good, and did redness some redness but the glow it gave me washed off and it also gave me visibly clogged pores/ whitehead pimples within 3 uses. Not worth getting new acne over.

« it’s just eh. »

The product is just okay. I have combination skin that’s a little bit on the oily side and I don’t have too much redness or irritation. It does feel kind of greasy at first so I was a little concerned about waking up to a greasy oily face in the morning but I didn’t. I have started to notice a few pimples and I don’t normally break out so I kind of want to contribute it to this product since this has been the only change in my skincare routine. For the price I don’t really recommend. But maybe try a sample first. I received this complimentary in exchange for my honest review after testing it out.

« Not great for oily or combination skin »

After receiving this product through Influenster, I was excited to see how well this would help my dry/ combination skin. When you first apply it, it’s quite heavy and oily, but since it is a sleeping mask I didn’t think much of it. The next day, my skin is quite nice and hydrated, but that doesn’t last very long. I have noticed more breakouts on my skin than usual, and I’m guessing it’s the heaviness of the mask not going well with my combination skin. It is a nice product, just maybe not the greatest for my skin type.

Like many others, I received this product in BoxyCharm. I’m not one for overnight masks because I usually end up with my face in a pillow at some point but I’m floored at how well this works. My skin is thirsty. Screams for hydration and despite all of the products I use, it’s never enough. When I wake up after using this, my face is soft, plump and no more flaky, dry skin. I only break out around shark week so I can’t speak to other people’s breakouts but it did not cause anything for me. The smell is really pleasant also. Anywho I came to purchase the full size and save the smaller one for travel but read some reviews and wanted to add my two cents.

I started using this sleeping mask about two weeks ago and it has been wonderful for my face! I suffer from terribly dry skin during the winter months and have never found anything that completely fixes it, until now! I no longer have dried out skin, but now have soft and fresh skin. Even though it moisturizes so well, it is not heavy or greasy, and is perfect for nightly use. It also smells amazing! Omg A-mazing! At first when I put this on, it felt like it made my face feel really wet and kinda greasy. Then when it started to dry, it felt tacky. However, after waking up and feeling my skin in the morning, it was extremely soft, hydrated and looked healthy. It’s amazing! I have really bad dry skin in the winter and this sleeping mask really did the trick! I can’t believe how well it worked. I received this product complimentary from Influenster. :) I am so happy that they sent me this product! I would definitely recommend to others who also have dry-normal skin. The only bad part is that it is kind of pricey at $52 for something you put on your face and go to bed but well worth it.

I found the best sleeping mask. This product is a miracle worker. Layer on all your serums and then add this at the end of your nighttime regime and when you wake up your skin will feel like a baby. It works especially well when I use a physical exfoliator during my routine. It works in all seasons. Use a thin layer, about a nickel size amount. I have dry skin everywhere but part of my nose and forehead ( which are oily) and it balances all of it out.

Ugh so sadden by this product. I had high high hopes after reading the rave reviews, unfortunately this was not good for my skin. I used it for a few nights in a row and my skin felt the same or more dry when waking up. Not to mention 3 new pimples... 1 Star b/c it felt nice on my skin initially. It’s a no from me..
