Super fun mask to take off. After novelty wears off and you read the ingredients, it’s all temporary.High in the formulary: This is loaded with multiple silicones to give that instant, soft smoothness. Lower in the formulary: The bergamot/citric aspect gives the glow. There are also ingredients intended to calm the skin as well.I don’t find harm or am crying foul, but this isn’t anything to buy with hope of long term effects. It’s a fun mask, but that’s all it will ever be; if the amusement is worth the price tag for you, go for it and have some fun before you go to bed tonight.

I noticed they didn’t put this in the description box but it’s important to know if you lose the magnet DO NOT RINSE OFF WITH WATER OR ANY LIQUID it will fuse to the skin making it extremely difficult to remove, if you lost the magnet and can’t get a replacement, just tissue off the best you can. Again do not rinse off with water or any liquid

I saw this product in our Sephora Skincare Favorites drawer and immediately picked it up to create a tester to try it out on the back of my hand. The concept to the mask is pretty cool. The mask comes with a spatula and a magnet. I tested it on the back of my hand by adding a thin layer with the spatula. I let it sit for 5 minutes. How to take it off is what intrigues me the most: you take the magnet it comes with and wrap it in a tissue. You run the magnet/tissue slowly across the mask and the magnet “pulls“ it off the skin. No water. Just the magnet. The mask is an iron based formula, so when exposed to the magnet, it immediately attracts. So when you look at the magnet/tissue, the mask is attracted to the outer rimming of the magnet (which is a triangle) and does not show up in the center. When you unwrap the magnet from the tissue, there is nothing there. It’s witchcraft to me. I bought it a week later and my goodness. My skin has never felt more hydrated, more smooth and it immediately brought radiance to my skin. I feel like if kept on the face for more than 15 minutes, the magnet used to take off the mask would work stronger to purify pores. I would definitely recommend this product! It has REALLY made a difference in my skin. It would be very hard to sample since you need to magnet to take it off. If rinsed off with just water, it doesn’t do much of anything.

I saw this mask online when it first came out, and I thought it was neat but too expensive and potential irritating. Luckily, I had one of the Dr. Brandt ambassadors at my favorite Sephora store show me how to put it on. It is amazing, but you HAVE to know how to use it to reap the benefits. Leave it on for a full 10 minutes or more, and take it off with the magnet wrapped in a paper towel. You will notice a soft yet kinda oily residue left on your skin. Don’t take it off- it is a leftover serum that settles into your face after about 30 minutes. After it settles, it leaves your face super matte and soft and clean of impurities such as blackheads. I have super oily skin and it did not break me out nor leave meoily. In fact, it controlled my oil the rest of the day. You only need to put it once a week on younger skin and twice for mature skin. The jar is expensive, but you barely use any of it a week, so it is a great investment piece.

I bought the travel size first to try it out. After using a couple of times, I am very surprised by the immediate result. One of the deep expression lines on my forehead almost disappears after using! I haven’t used it enough to see a more permanent result on overall look, but it’s worth the immediate response. I could definitely use this prior to important events or taking photos. I also love how soft my skin feels after. I will definitely continue using!!

tried it and it was definitely fun to use - though it did make a mess (i guess i put too much on) - my problem was the product leaves a filmy, almost oil-slick-chemical-y-gritty slime on your skin that smells very iron-y. i had a bad feeling about it (instructions say to rub in the oil when you’re done with the mask) but i followed instructions anyway and had a huge breakout the next day. i have sensitive skin and maybe it was just a purge but i didn’t have a great feeling about it and it went back

Ok Dr. Brandt, I have had quite enough of your sample face cream snares. First, you got me to spend 95$ on your Faustian bargain “needles no more” mask after I tried the sample...which btw, made me really look like I had facelift.(no joke, people asked if I had work done) But I draw the line at this Magnetight nonsense. Sure, I suddenly looked like I had dunked my face into the fountain of youth but still…I am not falling for it this time. You just stop sending me your wicked samples. I have a mortgage to pay.

I have always been a fan of Dr. Brandt, but after discovering this falsely marketed mask, I’m pretty horrified that the brand would market such a false claim. So, I was excited to try this mask. I imagined it was moisturizing and luxurious. I saw in the ingredients, it contains Dimethicone, which is silicone. Same thing that is used to create primer. It clogs your pores and masks your skin so it makes your skin look a bit more flawless, but it’s not skincare, it’s purely cosmetic. it’s not horrifying to see dimethicone in skincare, what’s horrifying is the AMOUNT and the fact that its being marketed as skincare. I’m literally in shock that a “high end” brand would be so dishonest. Literally, as soon as I took the mask off my face using the magnet, it was pure primer left behind. How is nobody else noticing this? I had to wash it off because I didn’t want clogged pores all night and I knew my other products wouldn’t absorb if I had that on my face. And I had to put another mask just to get some moisture that I was hoping to get from this one. So, I checked back at the ingredients and saw that dimethicone is the second ingredient. It’s shameful. This should be marketed as a pre-makeup beautifying cosmetic treatment (primer). I’m going to keep it because it’s perfect for applying prior to makeup. But, I am never buying anything from this brand again. It gets 2 stars because it did not cause an adverse reaction to my skin.

I love facial masks, and when I heard about this product I definitely try it!Pros- there’s a very fun concept behind this product, We used it during a girls night out and we all had a blast with the product. Cons- the product leaves a very nasty film on your face; the box says to massage the “oils” onto your face. But the oils never seeped into my skin...instead the film sat on top of my face and made me break out. LADIES, that “smooth finish” you’re feeling on your face isn’t essential oils, it’s silicone. This is definitely a fun product to use, I just wouldn’t use it again.

I’m over 50 and my clear skin gets really dry and tight. I’ve used many masks of different brands for years. This mask works well in the coldest Canadian winter days. However, I think there are better mask options. I do not like the smell at all and you can smell the odor for a long time. Secondly, the mask takes a lot of time to remove with the magnet (*BTW always use 2 tissues wrapped around the magnet!) It’s fun the 1st time then becomes tedious and gimmicky afterwards. My skin was definitely softer and soothed in the winter. But I think other products such as Estée Lauder Microessence sheet mask, etc. work as well with no smell, faster and far less mess.

This is the greatest face mask. I went into Sephora to buy some makeup for my wedding in January and the lady did up my whole face with products I wanted to purchase, just to see how well they would work together. She first used this mask on my face and it did wonders!!! absolutely wonders! my makeup, which usually would look cakey/dry around the cheeks, didnt at all after using this mask! was amazing and my face was so soft! also if you have some acne that you would want covered before an event use this mask it reduces the inflammation and redness to allow you makeup to apply better to help coverage plus it gets rid of all your dead skin and makes you feel like you have sooo much less makeup on.

I love this product! The magnetic triangle is very easy to use and truly works, mask comes clean off when it makes contact with triangle. Love that there is no rinsing or difficulty removing the mask. The mask itself is very smooth and creamy, easy to apply. They include the spatula to help smooth product into skin. Once you remove it, the mask leaves a light oily residue to rub in your skin. It moisturizes your skin and leaves you face very soft and smooth. LOVE this product. However, the price is a little outrageous, I would not willingly buy this, maybe if I had a gift card or something.

Wonderful product! Visible difference immediately. Others complain about the silcone/simethiconesaying it’s not a treatment. They are mistaken. Dimethicone is so powerful it actually heals scar tissue. Fir me, I get the benefits of the treatment and even better texture than the best primer. It may seem pricey, but I haven’t found any other way to achieve these benefits for less than 10 times the cost of each treatment (~$7.50). Give it a shot
