« pleasantly surprised! »
This stuff is pretty amazing. I didn’t know what to expect (I received it in a subscription box), but “pore purifying” was all I need to hear to give it a try! I have very sensitive / combo skin (oilier in my T-zone). I applied this to just that area to my dry face after cleansing & exfoliating. You just need a small amount, and it dried in about five minutes. Washed with warm water, toned, applied my essence, then moisturized. Yes, my skin is high maintenance haha but this stuff WORKS! My pores were cleared out and my skin felt firmer, smoother, and I couldn’t be happier! With continued use, makeup has applied smoother and my pores really were less noticeable. I only use this once or twice a week and I’m happy to now include this in my nighttime skincare routine! I definitely recommend and I will be repurchasing after this tube is done! [photo attached is one showing how great my foundation lays and stays since adding this to my skincare routine! you can find more of my looks on IG @ caro.manifest.beauty :-D]
« It Doesn’t Smell That Terrible & Does Work »
Yes, the smell isn’t pleasant, but it’s not that terrible as some claim. Unless you’re extremely sensitive to bad scents, you’ll eventually get over it. It’s not something I smell constantly the entire time it’s on my face, but I do notice it every now and then. I feel as though a lot of reviews knock the product based on just the scent and that may scare some people away from wanting to give it a try. If the smell is holding you back from purchasing based on the reviews you’ve read, I’d say look past that and give it a shot because the product actually works, especially the longer you use it. The instructions say to use 2 to 3 times a week, but I find it’s not overly drying for my skin, so I like to use it every night after cleansing. Note, it’s not intended to be used as a full on mask, which is why there isn’t as much product when compared to an actual face mask. It’s primarily supposed to be used as a spot treatment, so only apply it over your problem areas (such as nose, chin, forehead) as opposed to your entire face if you want to extend the life of your tube.
I really found this helpful even to me, who has dry skin. It didnt overdry or make my skin feel tight like many other pore masks do. I actually noticed postive results from the first use. I recieved this in a subscription box, but I will purchase more when this is gone!!
« Most effective for blackheads »
My t-zone is the oiliest area on my face and as a result I get a lot reoccurring blackheads especially on my nose. After 2 uses there was a noticeable reduction in the amount of blackheads I had. This stuff didn’t clear them completely but the ones that were still there are much smaller than usual. I splash warm water on the areas I want to apply the mask beforehand to open up the pores. So far, it’s much more effective than any of those blackhead strips or blackhead peel away masks. It is pretty drying so I recommend a thick moisturizer afterwards and wouldn’t recommend using this if you have really sensitive/dry skin. Worth asking for a sample in the store to try first since you only need a tiny amount anyways.

Ok I received this with BoxyCharm, and lemme just say I LOVE THIS STUFFI have some BAD PORES, I have tried face masks, some pore removing strips. Nothing would frigging work. THEN THIS — THE HOLY GRAILThis has helped remove most of my pores and some texture around my skin AND remove some stubborn blemishes. How frigging cool is that. What I did for this mask was; I put warm water over my face, pat it dry, I applied a thin layer with my hands, waited 10 minutes and washed it off. It does make my skin extra dry afterwards, so I was do some extra moisturizing. The only complaint I have with this is that there isn’t enough product for me. ((; But I will be purchasing this myself after I finish up this bottle.
« It works great, but... »
I was so excited to try this out, and as soon as I opened the tube the smell hit me. I still wanted to try it so I put it on and the whole 10 minutes all I could think of was the smell. However, my skin felt so soft afterwards and my overall skin appearance was improved. I had to take a star away for the smell though, I can see myself using the product up, but not so sure about repurchasing.
« BEHEMOTH pores on my nose cleared from one use! »
Okay, so a lot of these reviews say stuff like “this is smelly,” or “I don’t see a difference.” Firstly, get over the smell, it’s kind of pungent, but I would put a lot stronger-smelling stuff on my nose if it did what this product does. Secondly, I hope people who are saying it doesn’t work are READING THE DIRECTIONS and leaving it on for like 12 minutes. It also says to use 2-3 times a week for best results. I just use it when I have time or remember, but even just an occasional treatment leaves my GINORMOUS pores on my nose EMPTY. Like, there’s no missed pores from strips where it didn’t adhere to the blackhead properly. IT’S ALL GONE. So yeah, deal with the smell, and use it as frequently as you need to see the results because the results are worth it.
« On the fence.... »
Ok. So, I got this in my Boxycharm. I was really excited to try this. But... the smell! Holy cow, the SMELL! Like burning plastic or something. You kinda get used to it. But, after I washed this off, I didn’t see a significant difference in my pore size or the clearing of clogging debris. Will have to give it another go in a few days to see if I have better results. So far, not very impressed.
I was so excited to try this product out, and I was disappointed when I actually did. The product has kind of a strong smell to it. The best way for me to describe it is that it kind of smells like Nair /: I definitely felt a “vacuum” kind of sensation, and I also felt a cooling effect as the mask dried. When I finally washed the mask off, I did not see any sort of difference in my blackheads or my pore size. I also tried it out on my boyfriend, who also faces similar issue with blackheads. Like my experience, this mask did not do much for his blackheads. When he washed the mask off, it was like he hadn’t applied it at all.I gave the mask a second try before deciding to finally return it, but the results remained disappointing as before /: I will be returning it.

Got this in my boxycharm. Smells terrible. The micro beads are strange to me, but wanted to give it a fair shot. I applied a thin layer and it dried in about 10 minutes. I washed it off with warm water and did notice a difference in the size of my pores in my t zone. It works ok, but I’ll pass this onto a friend because I cannot get passed the smell. Vacuum Cleaner is a good name for it because it literally smells like a dirty vacuum bag.
I got this stuff as a sample a long time ago and I absolutely loved it. It made my skin feel so matte and clean. However, they changed ingredients and/or the formula and it’s way too harsh on my skin and has a strong sulfur smell. I don’t mind the smell, but the previous product was advertised as a “blackhead extractor“ and smelled really nice. I prefer the old product and wish they didn’t change it to this.
« First use »
Nice product. I love the way it makes me face feel. Most masks take 20 minutes on average, and do not make my skin feel like nice. We will see how it goes with repeated use. *crossing fingers*
« bad smell! great product! »
This stuff tightens and minimizes pores however the smell is horrible and for that I give it three stars. It smells like rotten eggs and I just can’t get past that.
« Dr Brandt pores no more vacuum cleaner »
Love it! Received in a subscription box.It does have a smell but not unbearable. It definitely reduced the size of my pores, left my skin tight and oil free exactly what I was expecting!! ❤️❤️❤️ I will be ordering!!
If you can get over how bad this product smells, then it gets the job done. Pores appear unclogged and minimized. That mixed with the cooling sensation when applied are the only pros.
