« A MUST for us intolerant skin folks »
So I had a really nasty reaction to La Roche Posay Toleriane Sensitive Creme. I was using it for 7 straight days until I finally connected the dots to my cheeks increasing crimson hue and blotchiness. In the midst of a breakdown because my skin was becoming so stressed, I went to Sephora to try a sample of Dr. Jart’s cicapair cream. I opted for this gel one instead and LET ME TELL YOU! After 20 minutes of application, my skin was EXTREMELY SMOOTH, the blotchiness nearly non existent and my red cheeks toned down to a subtle blush. I was shocked. I will be purchasing this in the future!! It calmed my over stressed and overworked skin so much! Bless!
« Tiger Grass Gel vs. Cream Review »
This is the review I wish I could have read before buying it, but I took the chance anyway. COMPARING TIGER GRASS CALMING GEL TO TIGER GRASS CREAM. I have owned the Tiger Grass Redness Correction cream forever. I love it. I think it does exactly what it claims to do. It is super hydrating, calming, and controls redness. My complaint about the cream is how thick it is. You can put the tiniest bit on and it still feels heavy. I really could only use it at night. Another complaint was the tube. The paint would chip all over your hands and it was a mess. When I saw the gel I was hoping it was lighter and more absorbant, but had the same affects as the cream. I was worried this wouldn’t be as hydrating, but I decided to go for it anyways. This gel is awesome! It is suuuper light, super hydrating and moisturizing, and really controls the redness. It is the day version of the cream that I had been looking for. They also changed the tube, so the paint does not chip off.My one complaint is the cream lasted me FOREVER, months. I have had this gel for about a month and I’m ready for another. I don’t believe the value is as good as the cream. But I will continue to use the gel in the AM and the cream at night. These products have been a god send to my skin!
« saved my skin!! »
This is my holy grail!!! I had severely over exfoliated, inflamed and irritated skin little over a month ago with big blood itchy breakouts all over cheeks and jaw. This cream along with the cremadin cream worked like magic. I have combination acne prone skin. My skin pretty much cleared up now and I’m back on track with my retinoid and my skin **touchwood** is pretty much healed and clearing up right now. I however feel like I run out of this cream pretty fast. I just purchased my third tube in 2 months.. so that’s that! I guess I wouldn’t mind investing on this skin saver but I’d be rather happier if this lasted longer. I mostly use this in the AM but if my skin feels irritated or a little red, I use it in the PM with my retinoid. Cremadin clogged my pores with prolonged use but this doesn’t.. it’s a very light, refreshing and a soothing cream! I highly recommend this if you’re going through what I’ve been through.. if your skin is inflamed, irritated or sensitized like mine, please try this out! I’m pretty sure you will not be disappointed..
« Rosacea flop »
Smells great, but doesn’t work to help the redness from my rosacea. Might work for others but sadly doesn’t work for me.
« HOLY GUACAMOLE MY DUDES THIS STUFF IS FOSHIZZLE »
MY RED-PORE FILLED-DRY YET OILY-ANCE PRONE-SENSITIVE SKIN LOVES THIS FREAKING STUFF. Dudes lemme tell you I have bought so many darn face creams, like spent cringeworthy amounts of money, after years of searching, I think I have found it, my one true love. Soaks right in, calms my redness, my pores look smaller (THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED WITH ANY PRODUCT). This is a miracle in a little tube, if you have redness and pore problems - this is for you. Pairs really nicely with a hyaluronic acid serum (like glossier’s super bounce) anyways, I’m in a committed relationship with Dr.Jart Cicapair <3
« Best Product! Saved my skin. »
My face is the clearest it has ever been in my life since using this! I’m 25 and I struggle with cystic acne and milia, and this (while not clearing it) has made it much more bearable and with the help of my regular prescription my face is clear!!! For the first time ever. It smells great, and has a lovely cooling effect when you put it on. I use it in the morning and at night with my Clarins toner and face wash. I found out about it from a trial size and this will be my go to from now on. It’s expensive but worth it.
« Misleading product name »
I don’t mind this cream, it actually did soothe my sensitive skin, however this is a bit pricey for what it is. I wish I read the ingredients a little closer though before purchasing. Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract are the last ingredients on the list... This feels a bit deceptive since this is labelled as a cica/centella asiatica cream.
« Distracting smell, product has essential oils?! :( »
Texture was the only thing going for this producr, but man is the smell distracting, and makes me want to hurl! Also, CHECK THE INGREDIENT LISTS YALL! This product has essential oils and alcohol, definitely detrimental ingredients I will not put on my face! DO YOUR RESEARCH, READ THE INGREDIENTS (order is important too!!ALSO, if you wanted to buy this product for the benefits of Centella Asiatica, legit it’s at the bottom of the ingredient list, you are not getting any of it’s benefits!! Very deceiving :(
« Not For Me: Broke Out »
I have sensitive skin and rosacea. I thought this would help my skin but sadly it broke me out in small bumps all over my face. I’ll probably go back to Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench as my moisturizer.
« The Real Tiger King »
This cream is SO NICE. I have super sensitive skin, a ton of allergies, and college, but this thing has soothed my irritation, redness, and turmoil like nothing else. It definitely doesn’t sink in immediately, but it sits pretty - my skin is glossy and shiny in a very nice way until it does settle, and then I feel like a moist little sponge cake for the rest of the day.
« lightweight oil control, but no redness relief »
I wanna start out saying I love dr jart, one of my favorite brands at sephora. I was super excited to try this on my rosacea-prone combination skin. The good:-Lightweight, melts into skin-Seemed to control oil and almost mattify while still looking glowy, if that makes senseThe bad:-Did nothing for redness which I expected from the cicapair line-It began irritating my skin and giving me a light burning sensation upon application halfway through the bottle, something I haven’t experienced with the cream and serum. All in all, if you have combo/oily skin and redness is not an issue for you this may be a great moisturizer. Overly sensitive and rosacea-prone I would try the creams or origin’s mega mushroom line.
« Redness reducing and calming! »
This is exactly what I needed to calm puffed up, irritated skin. Recently I purchased a micro-needle-roller, need I say more? This saved the day. Hydrating while adding no weight or oiliness. Totally soaks into skin, no balling up. I have not used under makeup but it’s ever so slightly tacky feeling and your makeup brush may be effected and your hair might cling to your face. A noticeable decrease in redness after about 5 minutes after applying. Also good for spot-treating red areas. For extra redness reduction, keep it in the refrigerator. I imagine I’ll keep this in the line-up.
« Cooling on Sensitive Skin »
When I first received both the gel cream and cream I was confused because the package description is literally the same for both besides the gel cream being “hydrating” and the cream being “moisturizing”. Upon trying both products I can confidently say that the cream is the more moisturizing of the two. The cream is heavy and softening. The gel cream is lighter, cooling and plumping. I really love both but for my personal skin type I really preferred the gel cream.
« disappointing »
This product is not good for sensitive skin at all. It is marketed as “soothing”, but made my skin burn! Also has a very strong fragrance. I did enjoy the gel texture of it though.
This gel is amazing. I have usually dry skin and have tried alot of different moisturizers. This is my new #1, its not heavy like some other kinds. It feels super nice on the skin. Like, my skin feels like it can breathe under this. I usually put it on after my shower and my face will feel moisturized until the following night which is super impressive. It has an alright smell to it, it does kind of have a “medicine“ smell but its not the type thatll deter you from using it.Although I did receive this product for free, I do recommend it and I will def be buying more in the future!!
