This stuff might actually be made of miracles. It’s the only thing that seems to heal skin abrasions literally overnight.I have somewhat delicate, sensitive skin, and I work in an industry where I frequently end up in uncomfortably close contact with men’s stubble on a very regular basis, which also means that I frequently end up with mildly abraded skin. Prior to discovering this product, I would just moisturize carefully and tough it out for a day or two after, but this stuff changed all that. Now, if a client’s five o’clock shadow tears up my skin, I just slap some of this on when I get home and the next day all the redness and sensitivity is GONE. A little goes a long way, and so far I’ve tried it on my face, chest, and inner thighs and had equally good results everywhere. This may be one of my new holy grail skincare items, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Let me first give y’all some context with which to work: I’m 32, I’m about as pale as a slice of Sunbeam white bread, and I have sensitive combination skin. My t-zone gets oily halfway through the day, yet the apples of my cheeks and the curved part of my nostrils are dry. If your skin is the same way, I feel your pain. When I say I have sensitive skin, I mean it. I can look at it wrong and I break out. Being a nurse means I weak a mask all day and when I come home after a 12-hour shift, my chin and jawline are a wreck. By the time I’m done with my nightly routine of double-washing to get rid of all the makeup and oil trapped under my mask, my skin is clean but dry and tight. I’ve used Philosophy’s Purity moisturizer for a while and I love it, but my skin soaks it right up and within an hour my skin is dry again. TikTok almost convinced me to try slugging, but there’s no way my pores wouldn’t get clogged. Then I found this gem. First and foremost, I can slather this stuff on in layers and it doesn’t clog my pores. I will actually go so far as to say my pores look clearer in the morning when I use this the night before. Second, it actually takes my skin a while to soak it all in, and even then it isn’t dry like with other moisturizers. It has this plump, dewy, glowy goodness and I can’t believe it’s my face. Third, and maybe most impressively, my face isn’t as oily the next day. Not even my t-zone gets as greasy as it does when I don’t use this. I have finally found a product that makes my skin behave. My mind is blown, and this stuff is amazing. Trust me and try it.

Since moving to a crusty skin part of the country, I’ve needed so much extra help with giving my skin the moisture and hydration it deserves. This product delivers on that! I love what this does for me and I can definitely tell the difference when I miss a night using this. Why is there not a full body size of this?!

Currently on my 2nd jar. First one lasted me 6+ months with daily use. I use this after applying tretinoin and cerave moisturizing cream and it helps greatly with any flakiness I was experiencing before using. Holy grail tbh. I never write reviews but had to for this product. .

This is possibly the best skincare product I’ve purchased in awhile, and it’s all thanks to the reviews. I have normal skin that can get a bit on the oily side around my nose and I tend to breakout around my mouth. In addition, when I travel intend to get really textured cheeks - it may be either the detergents some hotels use, or stress, or not having my full skincare routine with me. After a week away, I can back to super rough and flaky looking skin (part of that could be spending hours under the sun every day, even with SPF on). I tried this product and after two nights following my normal PM skincare routine, the texture was almost completely gone. Love that the product is scentless, it has a nice jelly Vaseline type consistency (though not sticky or slimy like Vaseline) and you only need a little bit. I now use this at least 3 times a week as the last step. My skin is glowing. And whatever minor breakouts I had, this helped soothe them. The only thing that can be improved on is packaging - would very much prefer a pump or squeeze tube for products for sanitary reasons. Highly recommended!

I have used the Laneige water sleeping mask for years and quite liked it. However, I was drawn towards this Dr Jart sleeping mask due to its soothing properties for those with sensitive skin. And its seriously better. I have found this product smells less fragrant than the one mentioned. If you are a fan of dermaplaning at home this is a great gentle after care option. I have acne prone skin and this repair mask doesn’t leave my skin feeling congested (leading to break out) like some moisturizers. I use this with my prescription tretinoin and it helps with the crazy dryness associated with rets. Seems pricey, but goes a long way. Will buy again.

Let me just start off by saying I hate night masks. I had swore them off. I don’t like having an itch on my face then scratching it and realizing you just messed up the mask because it never dries, then you wake up and there’s not really any difference. THIS IS DIFFERENT! I got it because I love Dr. Jart products. I put it on after my entire nighttime skincare routine and it didn’t move anything else around under it. It’s gel and you really don’t have to apply that much to get it to cover your face. This bottle will last months at least! It doesnt leave your hands sticky after applying either. It dries!!! You can actually sleep on your side! Which is unheard of with a night mask. It’s not a weird texture and you can touch/scratch your face after without messing up the mask. Even as good as all the above is, the best part is the feeling once it’s on! It’s soooo refreshing but not because of the smell (it doesn’t have one) but because of the feeling, idk how to explain it. It’s not tingly but is relaxing? Idk it’s magic whatever it is! When I woke up my skin has never looked more glowy and clear. Never! I use it with the new Dr. Jart cicapair face wash and I will never be without either of them again. No redness at anymore after a lifetime of struggling with my skin always burning!

« Game changer for redness/rosacea! »

The past few years I’ve developed the most sensitive skin of anyone I’ve met and this has been a game changer! When I tell you I’ve tried so many brands that are supposed to be for sensitive skin and even then, I still had issues. I tried Tatcha, glow recipe, drunk elephant, Dermalogica, Rodan & fields, etc and all caused increased redness, stinging or burning. This is the FIRST product I’ve tried that has calmed my rosacea redness down and it’s noticeable even just after a few nights in a row! Like some other reviews said, a little goes a long way. I haven’t experienced any pilling but it is a bit tacky which is fine since I only use it when I sleep. I use this after using the rest of the Cicapair line (enzyme foam cleanser, calming mist, tiger grass serum, then this). In the morning, I’ve been using Peter Thomas Roth Vital-E and my skin has never looked better! Can’t wait to see how much more improved it will be after longer use.

I was prescribed tactapump forte which is very dryinggg. All my other skincare treatment stings and doesnt hydrate enough except this! Hydrates my skin really well and doesnt sting at all!!

I rated 5 stars because I do like this brand and this line of serums/ moisturizer. BUT I really have no idea what the benefit of using this product has been. I’m a little clueless / uninformed with bedtime masks. I have used caudalie overnight mask (the pink face mask that can be put on for 15 minutes or left on overnight. And no matter how long I have. On - I end up with white bumps/clogged pores the following 1-3 days after it. So I have been happy about dr Jart mask having ZERO negative effects like that. But again I just don’t know if or how it’s been helping? I tend to use it if I am really dry in the winter or windburn. I layer on all my rich creams and gentle products. And layer this thinly and I are up feeling better / no pain from dry cracking nose or lips. It’s possible it’s neutral and/or positive outcomes. But I know it’s not negative. Skincare is self care to me, so I enjoy this as a last step when I am doing a very hydrating bedtime routine. But I’ll be honest, I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly. I haven’t had any bad reactions to the product, and it’s lasted me SO long. And a little goes a long way. The product is gel-like but never “fully absorbs” into the skin. But overnight it does dry/absorb. When you rinse your face with water in the morning, it gets gel-like again and almost feels like a film to remove (not in a bad way). I m struggled with bad acne all my life, so describing a product like this is not some thing I would imagine I would be using without any negative results. It hasn’t caused any acne or clogged pores. Despite being neutral on it, I would purchase again, because the product has lasted a long time, so it feels economical. And it’s a fun last step in the skin care. Whether it’s actually doing anything, I have no idea

Recently started using retinol+vitamin C (not at the same time) and my skin became too sensitized and dry. Using this neutralized my redness, irritation while providing a much needed seal for moisture. A life saver! I got it as a sample and HAD a to get the whole thing!

Bought this because I really loved the Tiger Grass sheet mask, and I was not disappointed! Followed the instructions and it made my skin feel, and look, healthy with a natural glow and my redness and breakouts were insanely changed for the better.

I gave myself three weeks to love it. I have oily skin, but it’s also very dehydrated. I thought this would help. I started getting little milia bumps all over my face.I also really like the clean dewy look when heading to bed, it would only stay dewy for about 4 minutes.I recommend the plump plump cream by glow recipe instead for the oily skinned gals that want night time hydration but also get clogged pores really easily.
