I had never tried a sheet mask before, so I bought this along with a few other Dr. Jart sheet masks. This was the first one I tried, since I had some hormonal acne. It’s really cooling, which takes some getting used to, but its relaxing after that. It was lightly tingly from the acids, but not uncomfortable. When I took it off, my skin felt cold and was a little red. When I woke up this morning, my skin looked awesome. Any breakouts had dramatically reduced in size or were gone completely, and my skin was brighter and more even toned. Way better than any other mask, I’ve tried and super affordable.

This is definitely one of my fave sheet masks and I think it’s a good value for the price. I use these nearly once per week and I notice a change in my skin: small blemishes clear themselves up over night, deeper pimples come to the surface to be delightfully poppable and overall my skin stays clearer. If you’re like me and have intermittent acne and little pimples this is a great solution to help stay clear

I recently purchased this mask after a Sephora employee recommended it. I was skeptical because $9 a pop is pretty pricy especially since you can get some bomb.com masks from origins for $25. I give this product a 4 star review solely on the fact that it is extremely expensive. I put the mask on the 35 minutes and noticed a dramatic difference in my tired, acne filled grad school finals week skin. The next morning my skin looked even better. It was even, bright, and acne and pores were less noticeable. I recommend using this product before big days when you need to look extra perfect or having a really difficult time getting skin under control

This mask is the bees knees, i’ve tried countless products from sephora’s brands for acne and this mask is the only thing i’ve used that actually reduces pimples and blemishes. I put it on right before i go to bed and when i wake up my skin is more even toned and the pimples i have shrink significantly. I’ll def be buying more, its great for when you get a break out. Helps control the acne. I wish it was cheaper but its worth it.

This mask for some reason left my face extremely sticky after usage but it doesn’t slide off your face and it made my spots less red after. However, PLEASE DONT BUY FROM SEPHORA. They overcharge ridiculously. It’s half the price at Asian shops. It also seems like there’s no option to buy it by box which is a bummer.

This is the best skincare item I’ve ever used. Period. I have combo skin. I’ve been battling break outs for 3 months. Recently with some cystic toe acne spots. This was my last ditch effort before going to see a dermatologist. I used a mild cleanser and exfoliated (due to the flakey patches I was having) let this sit on my skin for about 30 minutes. I it ook a q-tip with the remaining serum and applied it to the cystic spots I had. Flash forward to this morning. My breakout is 90% gone, my skin is GLOWING AND HYDRATED. I immediately went to Sephora the next day I can never be without one of these.

This is the quickest, most effective clearing treatment I’ve ever tried! I was breaking out very badly, I used this mask, and the next day there was dramatic improvement! I saved the extra serum that was leftover in the pack and used it as well. There was enough leftover to use 3 more times. I have fairly sensitive skin and there was no discomfort, burning, or excess drying. I definitely recommend this mask when you need fast results. I will definitely be using it anytime I have bad breakouts!

So for those of us with acne prone skin, it’s usually a marathon, not a sprint. We never see instant results, and have to use products for 2-3 months to see if it’s even working for our skin. Usually, or at least in my experience, things don’t work, we don’t reorder, and it’s a huge waste of money and time and our skin is still unhappy and unsightly. This is the first acne product I’ve ever used that I see results the next morning. I Put it on for 20 minutes after washing and toner and follow up with a moisturizer and in the morning my acne is so much less red, WAY less inflamed, brighter and more even. This even works wonders on cystic acne and leftover acne marks. I will never use another acne mask again. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Pro tip- The mask is so saturated with the serum that there is a pool of it left in the pouch, save the pouch and put the remaining serum on your face the next night.

« Absolutely CLEARS! »

I have been using this mask in tandem with the “Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask - Soothing (Kale)“ from Farmacy. I actually started with this mask (the Dr. Jart+ mask) a few weeks ago, and for the past 2 weeks, I am using the Dr. Jart+ mask on Sundays followed on Wednesday by the Farmacy mask. (Love the Farmacy mask for it’s own wonderful attributes. I wrote a review on it’s product page.) Here’s what impresses me about the Dr. Jart+ mask: IT ACTUALLY CLEARED MY SKIN AFTER 1 SINGLE USE! Never in my life have I found a mask that did what it said it would do the very first time I used it. I had a small break out on my chin and a mild skin irritation on both my cheeks. (I’m sure the producers of this product would recommend not using it on a skin irritation by the way, but this particular skin irritation is an ongoing issue I know can handle certain things.) After one use, when I woke up the next morning my skin was CLEAR. For those of you wondering if you skin can handle this...obviously I cannot say for sure. However, I have very sensitive/reactive skin (when I smile my stupid chin and all around my mouth turns red from moving my skin) but I have had no trouble with this product. Instead, this product cleared up an ongoing skin issue I was suffering with at the time. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review- I now use this product along with the product from Farmacy and I have found my skin is remaining blemish free, some old discolorations have faded tremendously, and my skin is really starting to glow! Highly recommend this product!

« the holy grail for calming breakouts »

This is my holy grail mask when my skin is acting up. I have extremely sensitive, reactive skin and a diagnosed hormone imbalance and I feel like breakouts can be a chain reaction of redness, dryness, inflammation, and texture. This mask absolutely calms all of it down, reduces the size and redness of blemishes, helps with product sensitivity reactions and restores some hydration. If I have *any* special event, this is my go to mask. If my face feels like makeup will just make me look worse because my face is irritated, THIS mask can save the day. It’s not crazy hydrating, but what it lacks in that department it more than makes up for in healing. I feel like it also really helps control my oil the next day or two which is very helpful for events also. The only downside is this is one of the most expensive, if not most expensive, Dr.Jart paper masks. It makes my wallet cry to spend $9 on a single use product. If they were cheaper I’d use one weekly. If they made the serum from this mask into a stand alone product I would buy it in bulk. I save every last drop from the package and apply it for a few days afterward post-cleanse and before moisturizer to keep the benefits going.

First I would just like to thank the girl who was ahead of me in line to pay, she encouraged me to get this mask AS IT IS AMAZING. I’m always hesitant on buying sheet masks, as the girl in front of me could probably tell - but this mask instantly calmed my skin and the acne that I do have has reduced dramatically from when I put the mask on to taking the mask off. Thank you to the skincare fairy who was standing in line ahead of me!

« Definitely worth the price »

I was really impressed with this mask, I have very sensitive and acne affected skin and I definitely felt and saw a difference. My skin tone was even after leaving the mask on for about 30 minutes. My pores seemed smaller and my face was definitely brightened. The price originally threw me off but I believe it was worth it!!
