Sheet Masks

This mask is amazing!! The first time I tried it, I felt like it sped up the healing process of my cystic acne. The mask definitely helped brighten the dark spots left behind from the cystic acne. The following morning the cystic acne was much smaller in size and my face was glowing — instead of putting on a full face of foundation, I only used concealer where my healing acne is. Totally worth buying!!

I just don’t understand why Sephora would put all of these masks in one! This mask used to show how great it really is with it’s own reviews! Like others have said before, this mask really does work it’s wonders! I have a lot of dark marks from previous acne and right after taking this mask off, you could totally see that the marks faded a bit! I also like that it has tea tree oil cause it’s really good for acne prone skin! I’ve saved the extra oil for a whole week and kept putting it every night before my moisturizer! I highly recommend!! This is my at home facial!!

In the summer my skin is dewy and glowy. The water replenishment cotton mask recaptures that “glow” in the goes missing in the winter. I use this before special events, maybe once a month, after using the Philosophy Micro-Delivery Peel. I’ve tried other sheet masks by Dr. Jart, but this is the only one I’ve had yield visible results. Also worked better for me than sheet masks by Shiseido and Bosca.

The Clearing Solution & Water Replenishment are my personal favorites. Although these are quite expensive, the ingredients are what makes it worth the money. There is no alcohol, which I find in a lot of low quality sheet masks. All the good ingredients (glycerin, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, etc.) are near the top of the list which means it contains more of that ingredient. The Water Replenishment mask significantly reduces my stubborn redness that I get from rosacea flare ups. The Clearing Solution helps with my acne without drying my skin out. The mask itself is quite thick, which I am not a fan of because it adheres to your face lesser than thin sheet masks. As long as I lay down or don’t move too much, it won’t slide off. There is a decent amount of essence leftover which I use to coat on top of my sheet mask after I put it on to keep it extra moist, or I rub it on my neck. Just a heads up, you can get these masks much cheaper elsewhere (especially K-beauty stores) but I first stumbled across them at Sephora.

I bought this just to try it because I heard so many mixed reviews but it was like the good ones were REALLY good. At first it was really weird there was so much extra product in the packet (bonus moisturizer amirite?) but putting it on, wow! I love love LOVE this product. I was surprised at how cooling the mask was but it felt like I was in a spa. Taking it off felt weird too but it’s just so moisturizing I was caught off guard. Doing this face mask and nothing else, left my skin glowing for a few days which is surprising because it’s only 6 dollars!! Definitely recommend :-)

This is the best mask I’ve ever used. I had seriously dry skin, especially as the weather got colder. I mean it would practically peel like I had a sun burn it was THAT dry. So I started using this mask just once a week and my face has not dried out since. Not at all! It feels good, smells good and afterwards you look good.

Love all masks....this is a particularly good one. I am 64 and used to smoke, was always out in the sun without a sunscreen because no one wore sunscreen then. I started late on taking good care of my skin but staying out of the sun, not smoking, good nutrition, and staying hydrated has made a big difference. Weekly masks especially keep my skin in tip top condition. I now get compliments on my skin.

this mask is amazing! I’ve used so many masks and spent so much money on skin care and this is one of the only things that visibly reduce the size of my hormonal cystic breakouts. It reduced the size of my acne and reduced redness. I highly recommend this mask and will purchase it again and again.

I’m using the green soothing hydra solution mask. First off, the smell is AWFUL. Like burning plastic. My skin is pretty sensitive and the mask felt it was low key burning on my face. The smell is pretty strong, i had to wash my face again after the mask. I do not recommend.

Love at first mask! My skin is a combination mixture of oily and dry. Near my temples is super dry, while the lower half of my U-zone is normal. My forehead is super oily, while my nose is just slightly oily. I’m used to tailoring my skincare routine in order to keep all parts of my face happy i.e. only using a hydrator on my T-zone, but using a hydrator and a moisturizer on my U-zone. Rarely is there a product that makes all parts of my face glow, but this product does! I love the water replenishment masks! I definitely do wish they were cheaper or that they came in a bottle so that I could apply less of the serum to my face and get more bang for my buck; however, I will continue to buy them and just try to use them less often so that my skin can benefit from their greatness but not at the expense of my bank account!

I was never big into sheet masks until maskne happened. a lot of salicylic acid meant my combo was super dry. I really enjoyed the two hydrating ones. I have the porecting and ceramide mask that I haven’t tried yet but I have high hopes when comparing to the hydra ones. pro tip, Walmart sells a pack of 5 for about 35 dollars canadian

« Good, but not great »

I bought this mask because of all of the amazing reviews. I have combination skin, a little acne, and uneven skin tone. I do think the mask helped tighten my skin, but I did not see a difference in my skin tone or acne. The mask was nice, but I don’t really think it was worth the money.

The price range for the same product is insane, you can get it with less than $2 for one sheet in Korea and in Canada you pay over $8 after tax. But even when I pay less than $2 for a sheet, it still not worth the price. Inside is a lot gel-like stuff that they would call it serum, but it is just things that make your skin sticky and you skin cannot absorb. The only possible benefit is hydration but I would rather prefer to use a dry sheet mask and toners to DIY, which personally serve a lot better to provide hydration without stickiness.

even thought this mask refreshes my face for a limited amount of time, i personally feel that it does nothing to my skin. i think it is not beneficial at all and i don’t think it does anything. you are better off with a nice mud mask.

« Calms Hormonal Acne »

Dang this stuff actually works. I used one last night for about 30 mins and when I took it off my I was able to pop my hormonal pimples and put aloe Vera on it and I woke up this morning to smooth skin. Usually it takes several days for my hormonal acne to complete clear up but I had an trip coming up soon and didn’t want my skin to look terrible. But yeah I’m definitely going to check out the brightening mask too! And get some more of these for my monthly breakouts.
