I was so excited. The ingredients looked great up until the 3 citrus extracts and limonene fragrance. These will sensitize your skin over time. Sensitive skin people beware. Next.

Unlike a lot of other reviewers, I bought this product. I have dry skin and while this is formulated specifically for oily skin, this leaves my face baby soft and with a dewy look. I do lock it in with a facial oil, but I do that with all my moisturizers. This sinks in beautifully and I will continue to repurchase this.

I really enjoyed this moisturizer it was pretty light in the summer for my oily skin it gave me a nice glow to without looking oily.

Ok so I NEVER write reviews but I just had to for this product. I have extremely sensitive skin that dries out to a flaky mess with acne, AT THE SAME TIME! My face for some reason is oily and dry at the same time. I added Daily Greens to my routine and my face does not break out anymore and it does not get dry. I first take my makeup off with Farmacy Green Clean on Sephora Watermelon makeup wipes. I then wash my face with plain old Dial bar soap. Once my face is rinsed and dried, I use Farmacy Daily Greens and that’s it. No more acne! No more oil! No more dryness! This is a miracle product and for someone who can’t use many products on their face, I’m glad I finally found the answer I’ve been looking for! P.S. I am on my third jar and I wanted to wait to write my review until after I thoroughly tested it. P.S.S. My afternoon picture (in the yellow shirt) was taken in front of a lit make up mirror with no filter.

« Really wanted to love »

I had high hopes for this product. I’ve been searching for a good moisturizer to wear at night and under my foundation. I’ve tried many different ones, but can’t seem to find my holy grail. I currently use Farmacy cleansing balm and love it. So I decided to try this product out. It does have a strong smell, which I don’t mind, but if someone doesn’t want a fragrance, I would avoid this one. I didn’t feel like it settled into my skin, but just sat on top, creating a sticky/tacky feel. It also left my skin very shiny, so I had to cover up with powder before leaving the house. So all in all, not a big success. Hope this helps.

« Great for my oily, acne prone skin »

As the headline suggests, my skin is very oily and acne prone. It’s extremely difficult for me to find a moisturizer that doesn’t a) make me even more oily or b) break me out. Most oil free/silicone moisturizers simply don’t work for me, and I have spend more money than I’d like to admit trying to find one that works. Typically I can get away with using hyaluronic acid as a sole source of hydration, but I am currently using an acne care regimen that really dries out my skin. I needed something stronger.This stuff arrived in my BoxyCharm box right when I needed it. It feels so good on my skin, and has a cooling/soothing effect (not like menthol, more of a cucumber sort of cool). Not only is it very refreshing, it makes my skin look healthy, soft, and plump. It also wears well under makeup. Advice for fellow oilies: My first use, I used way too much. It did, in fact, cause my skin to become oily after a few hours. My second use, I used alot less, just enough to spread across my skin. I literally just dipped the tip of my finger onto the lid. (I’ve attached a photo of about how much I use for my entire face/neck.) It’s thin and spreads very easily, so you don’t need much, and if you find you have to rub it in alot you likely used too much. It should sink in within a few seconds. That being said, this container will last a long time, which makes it a great value.

« Why Farmacy?! »

The old formula of this moisturizer was a 5 star holy grail, only moisturizer I needed in my life type of product. I repurchased this product this weekend and was devastated to discover that not only is this now fragrance free, but the consistency is now completely different. This used to have a lively scent, ine I would honestly live to have as a perfume. Very juicy. But, I guess I could live without the scent. However, this is now nowhere near as moisturizing and it leaves my skin feeeling tight. I guess I am on the hunt again for a nee holy grail. Will not relurchase unless they bring back the old formula.

I received this product complimentary from Farmacy Beauty. This moisturizer has a lovely, light, gel texture, which feels great. It also has a lot of nice things like niacinamide and fruit extracts. But it also has concerning ingredients like eucalyptol and harsh citrus exctracts. I cannot recommend putting this all over your face as a moisturizer.

« New Fav Moisturizer? »

I have to say I was simply blown away by this product on the first use. Being a normal to oily girl I have a lot of experience with oil free gel type moisturizer and they are my fav for getting hydrated dewy skin and this definitely lived up to that expectation for me. I looooove the texture of this product, despite it being a gel it is surprisingly creamy but as you massage it in it kind of liquifies which I love in a gel moisturizer. Like a juicy burst of skincare. It is also cooling on contact and has a very fresh citrus ginger scent which comes from actual fruit extracts. Hyaluronic acid is one of my fav skincare ingredients as is really hydrates the skin and I love this has 4 types to penetrate the skin on every level and also Niacinamide which is known to brighten he complexion. Seriously this stuff is a sensory treat to apply and leaves my skin soft and juicy, plump and hydrated. Definitely my new fav moisturizer.

« Not great for sensitive skin »

I was excited to try this product after reading all of the positive reviews, my my skin hated this product right off the bat. I noticed after the first use that it does not dry down and left my skin feeling very tacky/sticky. I have sensitive skin that did not react to this product and after only using it twice, my skin has broken out and is very irritated. I do not recommend this product if you have sensitive skin,

I didn’t understand all the positive reviews after I received and tested the product. Read carefully, most received the item for FREE. It’s tacky, sticky, and non-moisturizing, I’m huge fan of their other products. Bummer it’s such a hassle to return items right now, I’m stuck with it.

« A solid moisturizer for people with oily skin! »

I have very oily skin and this moisturizer gives me the perfect amount of hydration without feeling oily. It dries down very quickly after application and the smell is refreshing but not overpowering. I only like to use this at night or on days I’m not wearing face makeup because I do find that the formula balls up when mixed with certain primers. Overall it’s a great moisturizer and I like it more than the Belief aqua bomb & my La Mer face creams. Aqua bomb would still be my go-to if I’m putting on makeup though! Btw I purchased this product with my own money. I completely agree with the positive reviews but I do have to say, it’s not a good look when most of them come from people who received the product for free. Sephora, clean up these reviews please!

« Bummer! »

I’m stunned by the amount of 5 star reviews on this! But then I see the majority were given it free to review and it comes together. The packaging is beautiful and based on what I read when I ordered it weeks ago (before a lot of bad reviews) I thought this would be my new holy grail. First thought, the smell is super sweet. Like a sweet lemon/lime wood cleaner? It doesn’t bother me but if you’re super sensitive to smells probably not the best option. I put it on and immediately my skin felt SO sticky. I rubbed it in well and everything. I just thought oh I’ll give it time but hours later my face was so shiny and sticky feeling. I thought it was just my skin needed to get used to it but a week later and it’s still horrible. I tried using it without my ordinary niacinamide/zinc serum thinking that was the problem, or my toner but still the same gross feeling. I have oily/combo skin, large pores and issues with blackheads and the occasional acne along my chin/neck area so in the details this product seems perfect for me. For $50 I’ve never been so let down and wish the stores were open for an easier return! I’d give it zero stars if I could but Farmacy has beautiful packaging so there’s a star for that haha.

HEAVILY fragranced. Made my skin feel dry after an hour of wearing. The jar makes no sense and it’s incredibly unsanitary to keep dipping my fingers in the pot. I’ve been trying to use up the rest as an eye cream until I finish it up. Do not recommend.
