« Holy Grail Mask »
I LOVE this mask - it goes on with a honey texture (literally I thought it was honey) then turns white and warms slightly as you rub it into the skin. This is a life saver for my winter skin because I just get SO dry. I pair this with Honey Halo and my skin is so happy
« Drying & Stings »
I use the Farmacy Honey Halo moisturizer so I was excited to try out this mask however it leaves my skin feeling drier. I can’t imagine the warming sensation to be good for those with sensitive skin. It also stings which is concerning to me. I can’t leave it on for more than 3 minutes before I have to wash it off. I have dry sensitive skin.
« Very Nice Face Mask for Sensitive-Dry Skin »
I have very dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin. Tried this for the first time and it was amazing! I admit I was hesitant due to the “warming” sensation but it was actually very nice. I read “warming” and thought they meant like a ‘burn’ - it’s not. It lasts for a minute and is very pleasing. Kept on for 20 min and rinsed off in the shower- followed up with the Honey Halo moisturizer and my skin was fresh and new. No breakouts or anything bad. It is so nice to have a face mask that is safe for sensitive skin, I have a bad sensitivity to fragrance and other junk companies like to put in their skincare but Farmacy has NEVER done that to me.
LOVEEEE the new formula of Honey Potion!! I love that it’s less warming than before, making it better for sensitive skin. The honey smell has also decreased for the same reasons. Also love that there’s ceramides and Pro Vitamin B5. Makes it more hydrating than it was. Same amazing honey texture that turns into the creamiest white formula! Honestly a perfect mask to treat yourself with some selfcare !!
« Not the same »
Used to have a glow after using this product, but since the formula change, that is no longer the case. Not only that.... YOU GET LESS FOR A HIGHER PRICE NOW! Once a love, is now a NA.
« I Love The New Formula! »
Right before the original mask was discontinued, I bought it, and then bought this one the day it released, and battled them head to head. I had my partner put one mask on each half of my face and he didn’t tell me which was which, and then I picked a favourite side. The new formula ended up making my face feel softer and more hydrated, which I didn’t know was possible considering the old formula was my holy grail mask. I still wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin or rosacea due to the fragrance and the warming sensation, but I recommend this to everyone else. I love it! I do wish Farmacy would come out with a fragrance free version of this and the Halo Honey though. I try not to use fragrance on my face as much as possible due to my skin barrier becoming damaged at work and I hate having to set them to the side for weeks at a time.
« Burned my skin »
This stuff burned my skin and i have normal-dry skin. I returned, theres so many better options out there at a better price point, literally just vaseline is better than this
« Effectively hydrates... »
A rich but definitely not oily, hydrating mask that’s quite high in Glycerine - especially, also Niacinamide and honey/propolis. Very similar to the ’Antioxidant Hydration mask’ which I also used some time back, but I feel this is a more effective and slightly improved reformulation of the ’antioxidant’ mask. Used this twice now and both times it’s left my skin supple and glowing. I’ve even been able to skip the moisturizer afterwards! Love how the texture transforms from what looks likethick honey into a whiteish cream as you massage it into your skin. The heating action seems to help draw impurities out of my skin, rather my pores to be precise! I leave this on for 10 minutes which I feel is more than enough for me. No negative reaction so far, only good results. ~ My Sephora Top 7 must-have list ~(My top 7 must-have beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Sephora)1. « So cute!!! »
I absolutely love this! I was originally just going to get this on a whim because it looked so cute and fun to use, but I’ve found it helps with my redness and calming my skin after a long day. It has a sticky texture so if you’re a sensory person I’d be weary, but overall it’s helped so much with calming that redness and evening my skin tone!
« Not for sensitive skin »
I really wanted to love this product but think twice if you have sensitive, dry skin. Left my skin stinging, red and irritated.
« nothing can compare »
smells like Propolis and have a texture of real honey but its extremely easy to wash after it turns warm and white on the skin leave the face tight, glowing and moist try it and you will love it!!!!!!!!!!!
Just RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. It doesn’t really hydrate much or make my skin any softer after washing it off- or at least it doesn’t do so enough. The only thing I will say is that this mask is so so cool. It has the smell and consistency of literal honey, then turns white as you rub it in and you get a warm sensation on your face. Experience is 10/10 but results and benefits is 3/10
« I’m Shocked »
I was skeptical at first, but don’t be fooled! I was looking for a great replacement for a hydrating mask and I found it! Starting off packaging is 100/10 magnetic applicator attaches to lid?!!! Like how neat is that, and the consistency of this mask is so nice. I have very oily combo skin and I noticed a reduction of oil production over a 2 month period. Heats up and turns white. Wash off is literally so easy compared to other masks. I love this brand and will try tons of other things from them. I definitely recommend this mask to all oily and combo skin care junkies out there!!
« Don't panic! »
With this mask I started panicking when I put it on my face first time as it felt very hot so after 5 minutes I rushed to wash it out thinking my face will be red and irritated but to my surprise my face was not red at all, it still felt like hot but my skin looke beautiful, smooth hydrated and my fine lines were barley noticeable (I’m 43 years old) . And now I use it once or twice a week and leave it on for full 15 min!! And I love the results!!
« So glad there's Farmacy for my sensitive skin! »
Being new to Farmacy, I am already a big fan and definitely in love with the brand! I have just tried this mask for the first time awhile ago. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant as my skin is EXTREMELY sensitive and dry, I have redness all over my cheeks, and also have uneven skin tone. I was also quite skeptical to try a face mask that would “heat up“ my skin for, like I said, in my experience, facial products that have this effect usually hurt my skin (so much so that my esthetician sticks to oils and cooling products for my facials with warm products out of the question). So imagine my surprise when this mask did not hurt my face at all and moreover, gave me such a healthy, glowing, and brighter look after I washed it off! Amazing! Not only did my skin feel smoother, hydrated, and supple, but it left my face so bright and healthy, I almost couldn’t believe it! Even my boyfriend noticed it right away --that’s how much of a difference it makes. Must try!PROS- little/mild honey scent- no skin irritation to my extremely sensitive and dry skin- rich, thick mask- metal spatula is magnetic to the lid (how helpful is that? I’m guessing so that it wouldn’t get lost in our skincare cabinet/drawer? haha love it!) - once washed off, my face looked brighter and healthier, really gave me that glow! face was also hydrated / supple enough (unlike other face masks which leave my skin quite dry after rinsing)CONS- quite expensive- none so far but will be sure to come back to this review of mine should I have any complaintsHighly recommend especially for those like me with really sensitive skin! Definite must try.
