« This cream has me shook »
It’s so funny how these days I react with surprise when I try a product that actually does what it claims to do. I’m so used to trying products that promise a certain result and it fails miserably. It’s even more disappointing when the product is expensive. So when I came across this product I was skeptical but was willing to give it a try.About me: Turning 40 this year and have oily skin that can be sensitive at times. Likely due to a lifetime of skincare containing fragrance and other sensitizing ingredients. Take it from me; just because you don’t have a bad reaction now doesn’t mean you won’t develop sensitivity later on with prolonged use. I recently decluttered most of my skincare and replaced it all with products that are actually good for my skin.Now this product in particular has me shook. Not only does it actually do what it claims, but the ingredients are outstanding. So that means that with continued use this moisturizer will actually improve your skin over time (niacinamide, I see you *wink*). And that’s great news, BUT, most of us also want to see immediate benefits too. And this product delivers on that as well. There are a ton of daily moisturizers that I love. And I STILL love them. But they’re not necessarily good for oil control so I always look shiny. Not a big deal if I wear foundation, as I always use a mattifying foundation, but on days where I just sit around at home I don’t wear makeup at all. So if I’m shiny who cares; no one else has to lay eyes upon my grease face. But this product INSTANTLY mattifies my skin without having to use makeup or any other products to achieve total matteness. I’m matte, and I stay matte. And the best part is my skin actually feels moisturized and soft with this. In sum this product does it ALL. Gives a matte finish, provides lightweight hydration, controls oil throughout the day AND contains ingredients that are beneficial with longterm use. This has everything I want in a daily moisturizer and more.

I wanted to love this product so bad because it had so many great reviews and I love this brand, but this moisturizer did not work for me at all. It dried out my skin and I felt a slight burn upon applying this to my skin. I did not give up this product and gave it a chance for a couple more weeks, but my skin reacted the same way. This is so unfortunate because First Aid Beauty is such an awesome brand.

I have an extremely oily complexion and never thought i could keep my oil under control throughout the day while also keeping my skin hydrated until i tried this moisturizer. For reference, without this moisturizer my skin turns into a grease bucket after 15 minutes of washing and this moisturizer makes my complexion look completely normal for about 4-8 hours depending on my skin that day. Once my face starts to build up a bit of oil after many hours, i can just pat it off and be good for another couple hours before patting any oil off again. Lasts a full days wear. I also find when i dont use this moisturizer my acne and blackheads start coming out and also my pores become bigger without it, showing just how much it actually helps my acne/blackhead prone and large pored-skin. I hope they never discontinue this moisturizer otherwise i will never be able to make my skin complexion look as normal as this makes it throughout the day. Also this is also super moisturizing for my skin surprisingly and i never dry out from it. The product actually does exactly what it says it does which is control oil and moisturize which is rare for a product to really live up to all of its claims. I see reviews here that say it’s too drying and give a bad review for the rating to go down, which frustrates me because it’s really meant for moderately oily to extremely oily skin so of course it will be drying to less oily skin because it isnt meant for it. It’s amazing for my extreme skin type and i have yet to find another like it. 1000% recommend.

Absolutely love this product!!! I have SUPER oily skin, I look like a glazed donut after just a couple hours of washing my face and moisturizing. After just one use it’s been 10 hours and there’s almost no oil on my face. This is the only product that actually worked with reducing the sebum on my face.

This moisturizer does exactly what it claims to do: mattifies, reduces the look of pores and It makes my skin sooo soft! I personally use this moisturizer as a night cream, and it really does help reduce my oiliness overnight. I’ve had way less breakouts, my pores have shrunk, and I found myself having less whiteheads around my nose and chin! I also use to have these annoying white bumps on my cheeks that have completely vanished since I started using this! I also appreciate it being fragrance free, oil free and cruelty free. You really can’t beat this, it’s worth the price and I 100% recommend it for combination sensitive skin! P.S. I use the Coconut Water Cream from FAB as a morning moisturizer, First Aid Beauty has the best skincare products!
« Caused bad breakout »
This caused a really bad break out on my cheeks that took weeks to repair. I don’t consider myself to have sensitive skin and never had something like this before -- to the point that I worried whether it would be permanent. These were very small, pus-filled bumps. I’m glad that my skin has recovered, but I would urge the buyer to beware with this product. It’s a shame, because I’ve heard great things about First Aid Beauty and had never tried one of their products before. I guess this isn’t the skin care line for me.

This dried out my skin, caused breakouts on my cheeks and did not help my oily t-zone. The matte effect after applying also highlights the rough patches that appeared on my skin after using. Tossing this out and going back to the original ultra repair cream, which is way better for combo skin.

I’m 53 and have been dealing with super oily skin and breakouts since the age of 14. Trying a new oil-control moisturizer is always a challenge and almost always a disaster. My skin is shiny again within 2 hours and I wake up the next day with several bumps and black heads.I decided to try this product after reading the reviews. I can’t believe it! This product actually works! My skin feels incredibly soft, looks fresh and best of all, NOT like it’s covered in oil! I walked in my bathroom last night to wash my face and I was amazed to see my skin looking normal, even after so many hours. No more redness either. My skin looked as if I had foundation on. This is my new ultimate skin care favorite and I’ll definitely try this company’s other products! I could not be happier with this!

This moisturizer is amazing for oily skin. My skin is ultra oily all over my face to the point where I’m shiny only a few hours after doing my makeup. This is always something I was embarrassed about as I would feel so gross because I could feel the oil sitting on my skin. This moisturizer is a game changer! My skin stays matte ALL DAY which is something I never thought would happen. I even stopped using primer because this moisturizer is enough! My skin does get dried out either, it remains moisturized all day. Super happy I found this, if you have really oily skin try it out

I love a lot of products but there aren’t many that I cant live without-this is one of those products. It hydrates me but matifies on my face. Wears beautifully under makeup and has made me less oily, before you could fill a gas tank w the oil on my face. Im on my second jar now and love this product!!!! I use in the morning only

Holy crap!! It feels like the aqua bomb moisturizer from Belif, but it mattifies within a minute or too. This is a dream!! Sits well under my makeup, it was so matte I thought it would ball up. Perfect! if you’re standing in sephora, reading reviews to help make a decision...I’m here to tell you to do it!

I have really oily skin so i am hesitant to put anythign on my face, even if the whole point is to control oil. But this product is amazing. it feels nice and cool when applied to my skin. I am so pleased and really did feel like by the end of the day my oily skin was very much under control.

I started using this about a month ago and I had severe maskne, acne scars, alot of redness and thus has done wonders. I use it in the morning and I wear a mask for 10 hours a day and by the time I get home I have no oily t zone. my acne has gone severely down, it doesn’t feel over drying, it has no scent. this is my new morning face cream, I even went and bought the night cream to try it out.

I have oily, acne-prone skin and could not have been more thrilled to find this product. This is my new HOLY GRAIL moisturizer (I always have to have one as back up). My skin does not get oily, even the T-zone. This has been the best moisturizer so far that DOES NOT break you out. My skin feels & looks hydrated and it has a matte finish.
