I know a lot of people don’t like reading reviews from those who received the product free (myself included) because it can definitely be biased.I have also received this mask complimentary from Influenster, but PLEASE trust me that my opinions are honestly my own. If I’m going to review something, I can’t lie about it, even if it was free.So-- I’ve never felt my face SO soft for such an extended period of time. I have dry and dehydrated skin, so my T-zone can get rough really quick, especially because I have internal and external texture (it sucks). I’ve tried this mask several different ways: right after cleansing/toning, and as the very last step of my skincare routine (using everything, exfoliant, toner, serum, moisturizer). I’ve also used it on a night I had just done a strong peel, so I could really test the product.I can sincerely, with all my heart, say that this product works great! My face feels so soft and plump even right after I put it on (I make sure to massage it into my skin), and when I wash it off the next morning, it still feels amazing the whole day (I only do skincare at night). Important: A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. I didn’t know this (obviously) the first time, and I dipped my finger into it 3 times and added the product to my cheeks and forehead. Took me forever to spread it around until my face absorbed it in, but I made it work lol lesson learned for the future! I also liked the fact that it wasn’t so sticky on my pillow (I sleep on my side and tummy), so it didn’t feel like I was peeling something off my face if I turned in bed.A tip I recommend (if possible) is to check if your pot is ok before your purchase. The little plastic cover on mine was full of product (from both sides), and somehow I got product of step 1 into step 2 and vice versa. The inside of my lid was messy, but I just cleaned it up and now it’s fine (sad that some product was wasted, though).Overall, I love this so much! Super, super recommend! :)

Full disclosure: I received this item for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. If you’re looking for a deeply moisturizing, overnight sleeping mask - this ain’t it! However, if you’re looking for a nice smelling, light, day-time gel/lotion combo moisturizer, you might want to check this out. I don’t feel that this did anything ~groundbreaking~ for my skin when wearing it at night. A few nights I even had to put a second layer on to achieve the level of moisture that I am used to. I guess I was just expecting more. I was determined to find a good use for this product (especially as it retails for over $50!), so I tried it as a day time moisturizer. I think it would be awesome if it was marketed as a day time moisturizer instead of a nighttime one. It smells exactly like the rest of the Fresh Rose line, and feels luxurious to apply. It provides light moisture and doesn’t make me feel greasy. It sits well under makeup and looks nice without it as well. To recap: I don’t think this is a great overnight moisturizer as it is described, however, I was able to repurpose it as a day-time moisturizer! Overall I would not repurchase.

« SENSITIVE SKIN - beware »

I’m a pretty avid skincare user and I’ve tried quite a few different overnight sleeping masks from Laneige to Belif. With that said, I tested this product for 2 weeks before giving a review.PROS:- Lightweight cooling gel essence feels good on skin- Heavier cream seals in product overnight and protect’s skins barrier- Absorbs fairly well into skin (no piling)- Good for traveling b/c designCONS:- As with MOST overnight masks I’ve used, this does NOT replace a heavy/thick moisturizer- On only one night out of the 2 weeks, I had a reaction to the product and had to wash it off (skin felt tingly/like it was burning)- Strong smell (perfectly fine for me, but may be a con for those w sensitive skin)My overall review: If you have sensitive skin and react to scents, stay away from this product as it can definitely irritate your skin. Besides that, if you travel and want a nicely designed product and if this mask is within your budget, it’s not a bad option. The cooling effect of the product feels great, and contrary to other reviewers, it did not feel greasy in the morning. If the product was a bit more gentle, I would definitely recommend it but for now, it’s definitely a very middle range product for me.I did receive this complimentary, but all opinions are my own.

« A rosy routine for mature skin »

I don’t see a lot of reviews here for mature skin so thought I would leave one. I previously used revitalift and while I was not unhappy with it I felt I should use something clean and better in my mature age. So when I found the fresh rose line I had to give it a try. I have battled with rosea since I turned 50 and went thru extreme stress and physical issues. I pretty much fixed the issue with antibiotics and the Avene miceller water as well as an Avene cream but in the last couple years began trying other lines very carefully. When I saw the rose line I thought I might have hit on my holy grail and I was right! The rose mask is so moisturizing and comforting that I don’t want to remove it! I apply it with the mask paddle available from Sephora which makes the entire process easier. When it comes time to take it off, I put a couple drops of the soy face wash in my hands and massage it into my skin. I use a face tool to help remove the mask and then wipe it all away with a washcloth. I finish with toner (the one with rose petals) and the rose serum. Finally I use rhe rose cream to lock in the moisture for the day. I only use the mask at most every other night as it is so rich. On alternate nights I like to use the other mask and then exfoliate with a scrub. This is my entire routine and my skin loves it!

« Minimum effort, maximum results »

My skin is typically very dry so I depend on great masks, serums, and moisturizers to keep it hydrated and moisturized. Using the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping mask has been a delight since it feels so refreshing, and the results are long lasting. When I apply the essance, the lightweight gel texture melts into my skin and feels very hydrating. The Water Cream is perfect to apply on top to lock in that hydration and to moisturize the skin. On me, the mask began to feel slightly cooling, and was very relaxing to fall asleep with on my face. I noticed that this mask doesn’t have fragrance or perfume listed I’m the ingredients which is great since added fragrance can be very irritating for my skin, I will note that it does have a strong rose scent due to the rose extracted ingredients. This formula didn’t bother my skin, I usually handle rose well, but others who have sensitive skin may want to take that into consideration. When I woke up the next morning my skin still felt moisturized and soft, and looked luminous and fresh! I also saw that redness around healing acne had subsided a noticeable amount, thanks to that super shot of hydration! Overall I have really enjoyed using this mask and look forward to more nights of rosey hydration. I received this complimentary of Influenster to test out.

I’m not a big writer of reviews on Sephora, but this product was such a big standout, I felt I had to sing its praises. First, I purchased this product and my review is after using this sleeping mask several times. Yes, there is a faint smell of dill pickles, but I don’t think I would have noticed that if I hadn’t already read about it in a few reviews. The smell does dissipate quickly after applying the gel portion over my nightly moisturizer and becomes undetectable within a few seconds. The gel feels somewhat cooling and refreshing upon the skin. It’s not a burning sensation, at all -- more cooling like you had it in the fridge. I wait a couple of minutes, and then, I apply the 2nd step, which is a cream-based formula with a rose scent. Right away, my skin feels incredibly soft and supple, but most water-based sleeping masks do, too. BTW, I use a pea-sized amount of step 1 & step 2 on my face and another pea-sized amount on my neck and decollete area. Since this goes over your moisturizer, it spreads easily and a pea-sized amount is all you truly need. The real magic with this sleeping mask actually happened while I slept. After using this mask 3 nights in a row, I woke up with the most amazing looking skin! And, I do mean AH-MAZING! My skin had a beautiful glow to it AND the area around my eyes, especially under them, looked like it did 10-12+ years ago. I was absolutely, 100% astonished at how magnificently this product worked on my 54 yo skin. It took 3 applications -- 3 nights in a row for me to see this kind of result, & I cannot brag on this product enough! It has definitely gone to the top of my anti-aging arsenal! Also, I use several serums, including Rx tretinoin, plus a rich, heavy eye cream on my entire face at night & pilling is always a huge concern for me. Neither of the steps caused pilling -- no little balls of product with this.I am truly impressed with this fresh mask. So much so, that I felt the need to share my experience!

« Pleasantly surprised (dry skin review) »

I have very dry skin and I normally don’t enjoy most sleep masks because they’re not nourishing/moisturizing enough for me, and I tend to wake up to dry skin. Although I love the brand Fresh, I was skeptical about this mask before I used it, and I thought it might not work for me. However I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it does nourish my skin overnight and I do love it. If I had to choose I would say this mask is especially suitable for the hot months, because it has a very refreshing effect when I put it on. It was a bit odd to me that this mask involves two steps, but it only takes a minute or two longer to use because of it, so it’s not a problem for me as I do still think it’s worth it. The rose scent is very pleasant and I don’t find it overpowering, however if you’re very sensitive to scents you might want to smell a tester in the store just in case. I definitely wake up to great skin in the morning after using this, no redness or irritation anywhere and my skin feels very smooth. Some nights, if I feel like my skin is extra dry, I actually apply this mask on top of my serum and/or a light moisturizer and it definitely seals it all in. They were kind enough to send me this product for free to review, and now that I’ve used it several times I can say I’ll probably repurchase it when I run out.

LOVE THIS! The gel feels so refreshing on your skin and once you let it soak in, adding the moisturizer on top and letting it sit over night will assure you wake up with rehydrated skin. I’ve never tried an overnight mask that I’ve been so satisfied with! I received this product complimentary for review purposes.

« MY FACE IS BURNED. »

Gosh, I wish I could have liked this after all the hype I’ve seen. Unfortunately, it BURNED MY FACE. Red, blotchy spots for days and I’m waiting on an appointment with a dermatologist to figure out how to repair the damage done by this mask. My already dry skin is even worse now. Hate to say that it just wasn’t right for me. * I received this product for testing persons and all opinions are my own *

« Worse sleep mask ever!! »

Their burned my face!! It’s completely awful! And I don’t even have sensitive skin and their costumer service is the worse I wrote a review in their website and they took down just bc I rated them 1 star wow! What a company. Take you money somewhere else and get the laneige sleep mask instead.

« Half of product is empty »

Received my product and much to my surprise both the gel and the moisturizer were half empty! This is quite an expensive product to only receive half! I see this is common (from other reviews). I will be returning mine for a refund.

« Comes with almost half the product gone »

Though I like this product, it comes with almost half of the product missing. When you’re paying $50 you’d prefer the product be filled to the top and not half missing. I can update later with a picture, but just look at all the others posted on the reviews. Fresh needs to fix this.

I wanted to love this. I have extremely dry skin so I am constantly looking for hydrating products that actually work. First I will start off by saying the packaging is beautiful. It looks and feels luxurious and I absolutely love the setup. Next would be the smell. It has a very strong rose scent that I’m not a fan of. Yes, it is a rose mask so I can’t really complain about that, but it is heavily scented. I am also not a fan of how heavy it feels on the skin. It is a mask, and some people might enjoy the heavy feeling, but it almost feels suffocating on my skin. It’s uncomfortable to wear throughout the night, and it leaves my skin feeling extremely greasy in the morning. I don’t feel any extravagant difference in my skin and it’s dryness after a full night of wearing this, so I feel that the uncomfortable feeling isn’t worth it. Las thing I will mention is that I do not have sensitive skin at all. It takes a lot to break me out. I’ve been using this for almost two weeks, and my skin has been struggling. I’ve been getting blemishes in places I have never gotten them before. When I stopped using this, the blemishes immediately cleared up. When I tried this profusely again, more blemishes popped up. But this could just be specific to my skin only, this is why I saved that for last. So my experience with this product was not very positive. I gave it two stars because the packaging is great, but other than that I do not like this. I did receive this complimentary, but all opinions are my own.

I am a ROUGE. I bought this product on Sephora 20% off day. I really like this product. I recently run out of my old one, and when I open a new one, I found the product seems like someone have been used it!!!!!!The shell is very dirty, and more than half of the cream is gone!!!!!!!!!!!! I use my own money to buy a product which is other used it!Luckily, when I opened this product, my home camera recorded my open box action, I am going to report !!!

« Smells like Pickles? »

Honestly I don’t notice much of a difference and I can’t get past the smell, it honestly smells like dill, there’s no rose smell in site. Mind you I’m sense sensitive with skin care and I normally don’t like the smell of products. When it came in the mail the product was all mixed together despite the separator.
