« Horrific breakouts »

I received a deluxe sample of this around Xmas...I liked the smell and I was hoping it would tone and remedy my “all-over-the-map“ skin, but it caused the most horrific breakouts all over my entire face...literally the worst breakouts that I’ve ever dealt with. I take good care of my skin and this mask was the only new thing I had added to my regimen. It makes me break out after every single use, but I guess I kept thinking it would be different the next time.... nope, it’s going straight into the garbage.

I have the most problematic combination sensitive acne-prone skin. I have very large pores around my nose and my forehead that get clogged very easily and I get cystic pimples hormonally that leave scars when they are healed. Since I’m a combination skin type, I’m very dry on some areas of my face and very oily in others. I’m always very frustrated when it comes to the right products.This mask is a HOLY GRAIL. It honestly corrects everything wrong with my skin. It diminishes my acne-scars, it balances my combination skin, cleans out my pores, and it calms my redness. It always leaves my skin GLOWING. And yes, it actually HELPS heal my cystic acne! I break out less now because of this mask. This mask is super calming, I’m so happy I came across this product because it has helped my skin drastically. More then any dermotologist or topical acne medications have. My makeup finally applies better because I use this daily before I go to bed.Don’t have any second thoughts and just buy it. This product has saved my skin and I would recommend to anyone to at least try it.

Okay yes… this product smells great and afterwards your skin feels softer for about five minutes. Honestly, I haven’t seen any difference in my skin that wasn’t already occurring from using my amazing moisturizer. If you have the money, go for it. If not, you won’t be missing out by passing on this mask.

This face mask is incredibly hydrating...I use it whenever my skin feels dry, which is often, and particularly after a flight, and always notice a remarkable difference. My skin is very sensitive, prone to redness, dryness and general irritation and this mask doesn’t bother me at all. Gentle and effective.

I LOVE this mask! As a psoriasis sufferer this has been a lifesaver for my face & neck - believe me, I have tried hundreds of products and this one is by far the best. It’s gentle enough for daily use and really packs a hydrating punch when used as a weekly mask. If you think it’s a little pricey, try it as a sample - you won’t be disappointed.

maybe I can help. It’s not specifically an anti-aging product. Its just for hydration. While keeping the skin hydrated is definitely important to the full circle of anti-aging, this mask is meant to do exactly as most of the reviews said. Hydrate, calm, soothe, feel good. It does a great job of addressing that issue. I highly recommend it in the winter months for dehydrated skin or year round for those who suffer from chronic dryness, puffiness or irritation.

First let me start off by saying I am a teenager with combo/dry skin. During the winter, my skin tends to feel tight (in a bad way) and looks ever so slightly flaky. I am determined that, after watching my sister not take care of her skin and suffering the consequences, I will keep up a good care routine for my skin. With that mission in mind, I went to Sephora and talked with a wonderful employee named Irina about buying a good mask. I ended up buying this one, which was no small venture being that I work at minimum wage (the joys of being a teen ahaha). I would be the first to say it was worth every penny. As soon as I put it on, the mask felt soothing and left my skin soft and glowing. I love that I can leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning. When I popped the lid off for the first time I almost thought I’d die- the scent was delightful! My brother smelled it later and hated it, though...to each his own, I suppose? If you are on the fence, I’d suggest you try this mask. I’ve had no bad experiences with it so far, and will probably repurchase the product after I run out. (which will be a while, since it lasts a long time.)

Here’s the breakdown:The Scent: This smells like actual rosewater, the real stuff, not the fake scent used in lower end products. I prefer the true smell and this definitely has it. Some won’t like it but if you appreciate rose oil, you’ll love it!The Results: I have VERY dry, sensitive skin and this did exactly what it says - it didn’t sting or burn at all, very cool and calming. It took away some redness in one application and left me with super soft, hydrated, silky skin with no tightness or irritation.Overall, I adore this product and I think it would be good for any skin type but especially those with sensitive or dry skin. Usually if it works for combo or oily skin, it’s a joke for me, but this is the real deal.

I decided to use my insider points to try this mask out; I was drawn to it because I currently use the Fresh rose water toner and have been loving it. While the mask delivers and does what it claims to do (hydrates and tones with a cooling effect) I’d say I give this 3 stars because it’s just a luxury product. I don’t think the price label slapped on it makes it worth buying the large jar in the end. If you’re into spending money and pampering yourself I’d say go for it with this mask, otherwise look into the dozens of other mask options Sephora offers at this price point that actually do more.

I recently had the flu which means that I have been blowing my nose constantly for the last week. :( It doesn’t help that living in northern Alberta Canada, the winters are dry and cold they make yoru face hurt.. I put this mask on from a sample I got and left it on for quite some time (at least 1/2 hour, it dried actually) My nose and upper lip were so raw from nose blowing I was afraid it would burn. IT DIDN“T. I recommend this for very sensitive skin. It hydrated my skin so much that for a few days it looked like I hadn’t been sick or flaky at all. It’s very soothing, but I do feel for extremely dry skin this is a 2-3x/week kind of thing. At least in Canadian dry prairie winters. I don’t re-buy many products, I will re-buy this one.

I have been using Fresh products for years now. I am in the military and work on an active flight line exposing my skin to all sorts of bad. This mask does a wonderful job rehydrating my skin and adds back the smooth suppleness that the flight line takes away. I am 36 and have pretty normal skin for someone my age. This is a nice product to use as an extended mask or even overnight in the warmer months when a heavier or more creamy mask/moisturizer is just too much. Also great first thing in morning to give your skin a quick wake and shine! It doesn’t tighten or reduce pore size, but it isn’t advertised to do so. I Love the smell! A definite staple in my skin care routine.

I’m not big on writing reviews and I certainly don’t usually gush over a product (I have to REALLY like it). BUT. I got a deluxe sample of this and adore it. I used it every other day (sparingly) and it calmed the redness I have from Rosacea (Rose mask/Rosacea...hmmmm). It smells DIVINE, like you stuck your face in a dozen roses. It doesn’t look very nice (basically it looks like transparent brown slimy goo with specks of stuff- pieces of rose petals and very small stems, I’m guessing) but DON’T let looks turn you off. Close your eyes and smear it on. You won’t regret it. It smells heavenly. Think Spa-in-a-jar. Great marketing tool Sephora, sending me a sample of an expensive product I wouldn’t otherwise look twice at. I REALLY wish it cost less. I realize there are people that wouldn’t blink at spending $55 on a non-essential face product but that’s life on an SS only income. Sephora, if you want to send me a birthday present (dream on).

I started using this mask when my skin became very dry when the seasons changed. It , in addition to heavy moisturizing, really helped my skin go back from dry to soft. I kept using the mask and have noticed my face is much smoother looking, very soft, small pored, and very bright. I really love this mask. It smells like roses and cucumbers.

I love it from the cooling gel-like texture to the really natural rose scent to what it does for my skin.I use this once or twice a week when I need to relax (love the refreshing scent) and also to fight the drying effects of sitting in an overly air conditioned room for 12 hours. I leave it on for 30-120 minutes before bed and always feel refreshed afterwards. It leaves my skin smoother, brighter and softer. I can definitely tell that it is very hydrating for my skin!I bought it originally because I love this brand and LOVE anything rose-scented, but then I saw Jessica Chastain uses it for the same reasons as me, and leaves it on for longer than the 10 minutes recommended. So I’m glad I’m in good company.Just an FYI, it has real roses in it, so when you put it on, it comes on in a brownish color and when you have it on it has some small brown chunks (actual roses). I don’t care, haha, I’m super pale so it kind of makes me look tan for a bit... :) Anyways, just don’t look in the mirror because it looks kind of funny - it comes on transparent since it’s a gel, but it has a bit of a brown tint!I don’t know if it has anti-aging effects, but it definitely firms my skin, makes it smoother and softer. I notice it every time I use it, and that feeling lasts all week, I’d say. Great if you sit in an air-conditioned room ALL day!It lasts me about a year for a jar, using it 2-4 times a month. I’m about to purchase my third, and bought this as a present for my mom. HIGHLY recommend. MY FAVORITE PRODUCT EVER!
