Priming Moisturizer Balance Oil-Control Gel-Cream

I used this when I had hella oily skin. Felt nice and fresh on the skin when you apply it. Seemed to control the oil. However, now I have really dry skin so I had to stop using this. But I’d still recommend bc I loved this product when I was using it in 2021.

This moisturizer was my first glossier product I have ever purchased. For a while I used this as a regular primer, but after I included it in my pre-makeup skincare routine I started to like it even more. Even though the moisturizer can be used as a regular primer, it definitely works the best after having a freshly washed face. And the moisturizer has kept me oil free for 3-6 hours and is very lightweight. The only issue I have personally had with the moisturizer is that it’s not the best “regular day“ no makeup moisturizer because it can leave the skin feeling dry if not careful. And for my dry skinned folks I would pass on this product. But this moisturizer is now a staple in my pre-makeup routine and I plan on buying more once I run out!

best moisturizer i’ve ever used. i have oily skin and it is great due to not making my skin more oily. in addition every moisturizer burned my skin besides this one. love love love this!!

Was really hoping to love this. Feels amazing on the skin but dried out my combo oily skin almost immediately and the drier parts of my face started flaking. Just a miss for me.

I honestly never write reviews but i had to. I’ve had oily skin since highschool. I’m 24 now, and it’s still a daily issue. I have to blot my face every 2 hours. I have tried SO many products. This product is the only one that actually stops the oil production. I am completely matte all day long. It’s actually insane. I just bought this product 2 days ago and will 100% be buying again. If you have oily skin, you seriously need this. I can’t believe I found this product on a whim just shopping around the store. 10/10

I struggle with daytime moisturizers with my oily skin. I’ve only been using this for a short while but so far, I’m impressed! It mattifies and softens my skin without it feeling dry. I also don’t feel like my skin starts to overcompensate by producing more oil in response throughout the day. Everything just feels more balanced.

Ugh this is my favourite moisturizer, it is so nice and lightweight and I just ran out again! I wish that the price tag was better because I can’t afford to buy it every time 😩

I’ve repurchased this product so many times because while it’s priming, it isn’t too sticky and its very moisturizing.

On my second bottle! I have oily skin and using this as a primer before sunscreen has helped me to find a great base. It’s super lightweight which is great for the mornings.

The gel is super nice in terms of texture, ingredients, and absence of synthetic smell. I really wanted to like it but it noticeably dried out my skin. It might work for someone else, particularly those with oily skin and those who would say their skin is not sensitive. I’m bummed I can’t continue using it.
