« An HONEST review! »

I was initially skeptical to try based on the bias reviews from those that received the product in exchange for a review but nevertheless was excited to try b/c I’ve had good experiences with some of their other products.I was pleasantly surprised with the unique clay formulation of this product. I’ve tried many clay masks & always have difficulty finding decent ones b/c they end up leaving my skin very dry despite the other benefits. This formulation is very creamy & hydrating. I think the recommended time to leave on skin is 5 minutes but I left it on for 15-20mins with no issues. There was mild tingling sensation but that was expected. My face felt nice & clean afterwards, appeared brighter & still hydrated! It also helped reduce some redness from prior acne scars. It also doesn’t really have a scent.It’s similar to Origin’s Rose Clay mask (but imo Glow Recipe is better formulation)Overall, I’d deff purchase this in a mini size (I own many masks, I prefer mini sizes based on my skin’s needs).

« Worst Smelling Mask of All Time »

I’ve liked other products from the Watermelon Glow line and expected this to be the same.But the smell. THE SMELL. The other products have what I’d describe as a light, pleasant scent. This is the worst smelling mask I’ve ever had the misfortune of encountering, and I was a 2000s sulfer mask girlie.This smells like sour milk and despair. Like cleaning out your fridge after a month long vacation. Like leaving groceries in a hot car. I have no clue if it works because I couldn’t stand to keep it on my face for more than 2 minutes. Maybe I got a bad batch but BEWARE the scent of this product.

Burns my sensitive skin at first but makes my skin glowy and noticeably tightens my pores. One of my favorite masks for sure.

My skin has been flawless since using this mask!! It literally glows! The smell is great but it does burn my skin just a bit. However, that could be due to my sensitive skin. Either way, this mask is very hydrating and it’s a keeper.

« Amazing Product »

This is a great product for oily/combo skin and those with large pores. Steam your face for 3-5 minutes (no need to spend $$ on facial steamers- a boiling pot of water on the stove is just as great) and use this immediately after steaming and watch your pores disappear. I have spent $$$ getting hydra facials etc on the regular and this method has by far been the best for my enlarged pores. Skin is extremely smooth and glowing right after!

Absolutely incredible! I am a person that doesn’t normally see instant results from masks and skincare. But, this product shocked me! My skin was like glass! My pores disappeared and the skin was so tightened that it looked and felt like a mannequin. And makeup sits perfectly on your skin for a few days after. It is by far worth the price and I will always own it as long as they make it!

I love the smell of this watermelon clay mask. It felt like I was applying mousse onto my face because its fluffy and airy. After a few seconds, my face would start to tingle. I noticed my pores tightened immediately but when I woke up the next day, the size of my pores where back to normal.

« beware this is a physical exfoliator »

I wanted to love this! However the description of the product does not make it clear that their is physical exfoliators in this. After receiving the product I checked out glow recipes site to find it is blueberry seed powder. It’s 2022, stop physically exfoliating and damaging your skin barrier. This would be a GREAT product if it wasn’t for this unnecessary ingredient. Hope someday they formulate this without the physical exfoliator, however I am returning this. They should at least advertise the physical exfoliator

I was very meh about this product at first. Didn’t love the scent or that it does have some physical exfoliant in it and wasn’t really sure if I noticed that much of a difference in my skin. But after a couple tries I’m obsessed. I reach for it more than all my other clay masks bc it doesn’t leave my face so tight and dry. And I actually have come to enjoy the little exfoliant when washing off. Of course being super gentle. I pair this with FAB Ginger Tumeric Vit C mask after and my skin is refreshed and glowy. It’s my favorite combo to get my face rejuvenated after working 12 hours with a mask or just when it’s looking a little dull. Just repurchased my second jar!!

« Worth the price »

I don’t normally spend more than $15 per product when it comes to skincare. I tried this because it was sent to me for free and I am incredibly impressed. Recently I switched to a cleanser that has done wonders for my acne but not much else. My skin is sensitive and combination. I’m writing this review after two weeks of use. So far my skin has become less oily, less red and the overall appearance has improved to the point I have felt comfortable going without make up. I would like to note I wear a mask for 12 plus hours a day so having found something to combat the stress on my skin has been amazing. In the future I do plan to repurchase.

First: My skin is mildly sensitive and prone to redness.- This smells heavenly, it’s hard not to eat it.- I found the small seeds in the product to be irritating to my skin, I wish they were not in the product as it would be fine without the physical exfoliation. Because of them, I just go slower when I wash the mask off.- The instant results are amazing. Instantly my skin feels like I got a esthetician given facial, the silky feel of my skin is unreal. And I literally gasped when I saw how much smaller my pores around my nose appeared!- My skin did feel stripped after the instant effects wore off, but once continuing on with my skincare I did notice my skin felt more hydrated than normal.I love that i can be one step closer to pretending like I’m in a spa.

Honestly, I don’t tend to write reviews unless I feel really strongly about a product. I went into the store to get a traditional charcoal clearing mask to refresh my skin from the treachery of NYC summers. I was directed to this by a rep in the store— the main thing she sold me on was that it wouldn’t crack like a traditional clay mask. I’ve tried so many of these clearing masks and was skeptical but brought it home anyway. After one use, my boyfriend even noticed my skin looked drastically different. It was bright, glowing, and the dullness and blackheads that I was dealing with were lifted away. At this point, I’ve traveled with it twice and will likely never be without it. I find it to work amazingly well at keeping dull skin/congestion at bay — though I can’t say for certain what it might do for more extreme situations. The smell is also so fresh, and it’s an overall relaxing experience when slathering it on! Definitely highly recommend!

« First use and I’m so impressed »

I don’t usually write reviews but I’m so blown away by using this product just once. I left it on for 5 min and after washing off and following with their dew drops and a paulas choice moisturizer my pores are non existent and my skin is glowing and so firm. I love their sleeping mask and their dew drops as well.

It does feel like a mini hydra facial in a jar. I hate their gimmicky approach with the whole “pore reduction” marketing. Their product is good they didn’t need to use that. But it is a great clay mask without the drying affect. I am almost done with my first jar and will be ordering another. It’s pretty hydrating. The beads in it feel unnecessary but that’s just me.
