« A great pampering mask »

As a mom of 3 kids it is hard to get a little *me* time. When I recieved this Avocado mask complimentary in the mail to test out I knew exactly what I was going to do. I did a deep conditioner and face mask to pamper myself. I loved the mask. It made my skin sooo soft. It stung a little when I first put it on but that faded quickly. It didn’t have a strong smell which I loved and it was easy to use. I would 10/10 use it again and do it with friends. It was a nice treat yourself moment.

I have dry skin year round. This mask is messy as other reviewers have said. It’s like a very firm avocado and doesn’t emulsify easily. But that said after I used it, I applied moisturizer and eye cream. Next morning I was running late for work so I had to skip my morning skincare routine. Just applied my CC cream and the rest of my makeup. I noticed my skin had a nice glow the entire day. My skin looked great throughout my numerous daily Zoom and Teams meetings. Will continue to repurchase.

The application of the mask was pretty difficult, you had to mash up the mask in you hands a bit before you could apply it to your face. My face did feel a bit moisturized after use. I was not impressed with the ingredients used in the mask, when compared to the price of the product, nothing spectacular. I recieved this product complimentary for testing purposes.

I tried this mask for the first time and I actually noticed a difference. I usually get really dry skin around my nose; I felt like this mask helped with the dry skin. My skin didn’t really feel too tight. Some masks leave the skin feeling really tight and dry afterwards, but this mask made my skin feel very soft and moisturized. Almost as if I had just moisturize my skin. I will definitely be using this mask. The texture of the mask is a little bit different than other masks that I have used. I don’t really know how to explain it but it feels a little bit harder in the compact. It almost melts into the skin as you apply it. I would recommend applying it with your fingers. I tried to apply it with a silicone brush and it didn’t really allow the mask to apply evenly on to my skin. I ended up using my fingers and that worked a lot better. I would definitely recommend using your fingers. I would definitely recommend this mask to people with dry skin. I received this product complimentaryfor sampling purposes.

I recieved this product complimentary from influenster in exchange for providing an honest review. Bottom line, it works but I wouldnt buy it again. I’m not a fan of avocado to begin with and the texture was strange. I had to mush it up before I could apply it to my face and it was very lumpy. I couldn’t find a list of ingredients on the packaging either. All of that being said it was super moisturizing. I had sunburn a few days prior and this mask faded the remainder of it from my skin.

I like the color of avocado green but it is so difficult to spread on my face. It’s like a chunk of avocado when I try grab a small portion

I took the time to read he instructions and the suggested usage here on the Sephora site. For that reason, I had no problem with clumping. You have to emulsify (rub) this product between your fingers or in the palm of your hand with a finger before spreading it on your face. You definitely need the body heat from your hand to smooth/emulsify it - don’t try to use a brush or any other type of applicator. The result was a smooth creamy application evenly on my face. The longer it’s on your face, the creamier it gets. Eventually the color fades and a lot of it soaks in (very beneficial). I left it on 15 minutes then rinsed it off and blotted my face dry with a towel. All as per the instructions. The result is amazingly hydrated, soft, smooth skin. I did this at night before bed but I think it would also be good to do it in the morning to prime for makeup. I will definitely buy this again and anticipate using it at least the recommended 3 times per week. I like to leave it on longer than the recommended 15 minutes.

« great mask but a big mess »

This is a really good mask that helped me with my really dry skin. The only thing that I don’t like about this is that it feels almost like rubber and when you try to work it into your hands it chunks up or slips out. You really blow through product with this but it helps when you wash your hands with really warm water before so the product almost melts. I would recommend this mask to everybody but if messy masks aren’t for you then I would pass on this.

« Chunky yet hydrating! »

This mask is very hydrating. It is also very thick which is why i took away a star. I like masks that can be easily applied. I stand by the silicone brushes to apply any and every mask I own, I feel that way you aren’t wasting much product by washing it down the drain when you have to wash the product off of your hands. When I tried using a brush with this mask it was so thick that it just fell off the silicone onto my shirt, counter etc.--which I did not enjoy, but nevertheless I ended up applying with my hands and yeah, it was still very chunky but it applied. it almost melts into your skin while you’re applying it. the color of this mask isn’t as green/opaque as I thought it would be. but other than the difficulty I had applying it, wearing it is a breeze. I also enjoy that it isn’t a 30 min mask. some other hydrating masks I have take much longer than this one whether it be a peel mask or clay. This mask definitely hydrates my skin to the GODS! and I will continue to use it, and will reccommended it to anyone needed some hydration in their skin care routine. I recieved this product complementary for testing purposes and all thoughts are my own.

I don’t like many masks because they all seem to break me out, but I really do like this mask. It’s very hydrating which is amazing because I have super dry skin this time of year. I’ve read comments about the mask being too hard to spread out, but in the instructions it says to rub the product between your fingers to change the consistency before applying it and it really does help. (-:
