As a person who has dry skin even during the summer this has really helped my skin over the winter. I put this on and wait about 5 minutes and let it works itself into my skin and then apply my makeup as usual. Love it!

I received a complimentary sample of this product in exchange for my honest opinion. I’ve been using Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream for over a week. This cream is supposed to hydrate and provide a moisture barrier for extremely dry skin. As someone who deals with this problem, I appreciate that, but I dislike how thick this cream is. I can’t get used to the feeling of something so heavy on my face. This could maybe be used occasionally after more drying treatments like peels or exfoliants. Although I do like a number of the ingredients, I don’t know that I’d recommend it due to the heavy feeling and the amount you receive for the price point. For me, this is just an ok product.

I didn’t like it. It made my skin red, and my skin didn’t feel moisturized after using. I’m gonna return it.

I’m a loyal Sephora shopper and this is my first review ever. I have been flip flopping between SO many different moisturizers. High end, inexpensive, TikTok recommendations, you name it I’ve probably tried it. I’m a POC living in Miami that has combination skin and rosacea around my cheeks. I’m also extremely dry around my mouth area but oily everywhere else so it can be extremely difficult to find a moisturizer that is hydrating enough that doesn’t leave me looking and feeling oily. This moisturizer is so calming to my skin, hydrating and doesn’t leave me shiny! Plus looks great under makeup. My ONLY downside is the price for the tube. When is Kiehl’s going to make bigger size?? I’ll just have to do with this for now because I refuse to try anything else! This is a genuine review from a person who bought it with her own money!

« The right stuff for deyhdrated skin »

I wasn’t really sure how I would use this barrier cream as I had always assumed that it was for super dry, flakey, irritated skin. I hadn’t experienced anything like this but when I read that it would be good for dry or dehydrated skin and I was hopeful. My skin has been feeling more on the parched side this winter and my regular moisturizers were no longer cutting it. I dabbed some Kieh’s Ultra Facial Advanced Barrier Cream on target spots of dehydration. This has been working wonders! It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy going on my skin. A little dab will do ya just fine.

I’ve been using this Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream for a few weeks now and I’m loving it. I’ve been using retinol at night and then slathering this on after and I haven’t experienced any irritation or dryness and flaking like retinol sometimes does. This cream has been a lifesaver this winter so far, with the dry cold weather my face can get dry and with this it’s felt hydrated. This cream is thick but doesn’t feel heavy, it definitely is good for dry skin.

« Sensitive to calm skin! »

This cream has changed my skin. I bought it after the Laneige water bank HA serum and moisturizer ruined my skin which I believe is due to the fragrance in it. Was struggling with reactive and sensitive skin then started using this. It hydrated my very dry skin and I have even been able to wear it under makeup. If you’re struggling with any of the above skin issues I really recommend this cream, it’s very healing and great for sensitive siin!

I loved that there is no fragrance to the cream. I am sensitive to fragrance. It’s not greasy and leaves no oily feeling. Very light-weight and it feels like nothing is on your skin. I like it better than my usual daily moisturizer that leaves an obvious residue. My nose is always dry and Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Advanced Barrier Cream helped with relieving my dry skin all day.

I absolutely loved this hydrating cream. It’s thick and absorbent just perfect for cold weather. It quickly gets rid of the redness on my face too. I love that you can use it day and night. I feel like it’s repaired my skin barrier because my skin feels amazing super soft. I definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

I have very dry and sensitive skin and this really does a good job moisturizing and leaving my skin feeling super soft without any irritation. However, for how much it is, I think you should get more product. But other than that I really like this product!

This is a game changer for my dry winter skin. It sinks in almost immediately and is truly perfect for mornings before makeup and at night over treatment serums. I love that it’s unscented and comes in a tube, which feels more hygienic.

I love the texture of this cream, I use it after my moisturizing serum and my skin feels hydrated and soft.

Very hydrating and gentle balm, nice for dry irritated skin in the cold winter months. For the price however, there should be at least double the amount of product. Also this cream has the CHEAPEST packaging I have ever seen. won’t purchase again.

This is an excellent moisturizer! It’s rich and nourishing but not heavy, no fragrance and very soothing. Definitely not occlusive and comfortable enough to wear during the day. The tube doesn’t last long, but it’s so good I’ve already repurchased. Like other reviewers, I was annoyed by the packaging at first. I couldn’t understand why they would print the label on flimsy plastic; it was crunchy and made it hard to squeeze the tube. But I cut it off and realized the label is also printed directly on the tube - just cut the outer label off from the start, way better!

« Simple but super moisturizing ingredients! »

I cannot say enough good things about this moisturizer. I have used this nonstop for over a month, and it has saved my dry skin during the winter. I use this as my regular moisturizer or on top of my moisturizer for extra hydration. The formula is thick, but it blends into my skin easily. My skin instantly soaks up all the moisture and I wake up the next morning with glowing skin. I also love the simple ingredients and the lack of fragrance.This will definitely be included in my winter skin care going forward!
