I love how this cream makes my skin feel. I have been using it for about a month as my AM and PM moisturizer and my skin is noticeably softer and more hydrated. It has rose and peony scent which is very delicate and feminine but dosent linger longer than my morning routine. I have combo oily acne prone skin that tends to be sensitive at times and I’ve not had any breakouts or irritations so it’s a winner in my book.

I got this in gratis recently and I love it. I have acneic skin that teeters from oily to dry on any given day. So it’s always been a struggle finding a good moisturizer that hydrates me enough without making me too oily. I was using fresh rose deep hydration moisturizer at night time, but I found that was too hydrating and causing me to over produce oils in the day time. BUT THIS! This has the nice smell and feel like the fresh one, with a better absorption and no over hydration. I will be purchasing this over and over again until it’s made no more.

I’m trying every possible (and affordable) moisturizer for aging, dry, and sensitive skin. Lancome Hydra Zen Gel-Creme Hydrant Anti-Stress Moisturizing Cream-Gel was my most recent experiment and, unfortunately, it was a FAIL. I used it alone with no foundation over it, so I could evaluate it properly. I wore it all day. I found that my eyes stung and watered all day long, and the moisturizer remained very sticky on my skin instead of feeling smooth.The next day, I used a different moisturizer (one that doesn’t moisturize enough, but doesn’t feel sticky or make my eyes sting), to make sure it was the cream and not some other environmental cause. Sure enough, no stinging eyes, no sticky residue.Then I tried the Hydra Zen on the next day, and the stinging eyes returned along with the stickiness.What I want in a moisturizer is:Silky smooth applicationSubtle glowSkin that feels protected/moisturized all day longNo allergic reactions around eyes or on skinNo stickinessCan be used with foundation without pillingI can’t understand why this is so difficult to find??? The previous moisturizer that I loved was discontinued, which is why I’m having to find a new one.

I received this complimentary via Influenster. This moisturizer is a big no for me. First off, I’m not crazy about the scent. It has a the classic Lancôme scent I remember from the 80s. Second of all, this didn’t sink into my skin as I had expected from a gel moisturizer. While I do like the texture, it sat on my skin and dried down to a tacky film. My face didn’t feel moisturized as all. I don’t recommend this. If you are looking for a gel moisturizer, I recommend Belif’s Aqua Bomb instead.

This moisturizer worked well for my acne prone skin. It’s very light, but somehow still pretty hydrating. I would note, it does contain salicylic acid, so you might want to think twice before using this if you use any retinol in your routine. I have found that the amount of salicylic acid in it is just enough improve the brightness of my skin without creating any dryness issue. Overall, it’s a good daily/nightly moisturizer. I’ve purchased twice and will purchase again.

This is the moisturizer I have been using for 2 years now. I have extremely sensitive and dry skin and this is the thing that calmed everything down. It’s literally like a glass of water for your face but it’s not thick at all. 10/10 PEOPLE

this gel moisturizer smells nice and feels very cooling/calming on the skin but it doesn’t provide enough moisture for my dry skin. due to the dimethicone in the gel moisturizer, i think this works better for me as a smoothing and hydrating primer rather than a true moisturizer. i think for someone with normal/oily skin this would work really well though. i received this product free for review purposes.

i have keratosis pilaris (small white bumps under my skin that are not white heads) all over my face and haven’t been able to find a product that smoothes my skin out without drying it. this product made my skin look amazing! after one night my skin looked great and super smooth. the salicylic acid in it really helps and i still felt super moisturized. would highly recommend.

I have very acne prone skin and this moisturizer has been AMAZING! My acne has almost cleared up 100% from using this moisturizer. No irritation and super moisturizing! My only complaint is that it doesn’t wear very well under my makeup and creates an uneven coverage. Also wish I could find a similar option that offers SPF!

For the past year I have been suffering from adult acne around my jawline and chin. I have tried many different products but after a few days, the acne returns and sometimes even worse. About a month ago a sales associate at Sephora was helping me find new products that would hopefully reduce the issue. She recommended I give this a try but at the time, I had actually picked up a different product because it was one of those “tried and true” from my regimen. As a member of the Influenster community I was sent this moisturizer to try and give my honest opinion. I am so happy I had the second opportunity to give this a chance because it has completely transformed my skin. I have been using it for a week now, Day and Night, with noticeable results after the second day. The acne bumps and redness on my jawline were reduced within this time. My skin is so soft and practically glowing when I wake up in the morning. The smell is light and it literally melts into the skin. It’s not heavy and it doesn’t make your skin oily either. I’m loving it so far! I think it will definitely be a skincare staple for me.

I have the sample of this and i have struggled trying to find a good moisturizer. this is one of those, dare i say, holy grail of moisturizer?? yes. it doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky, it feels like silk and you wake up the next day and see a difference in your skin after your bedtime routine. i do skincare twice a day and have been seeing immediate results after I wanna say three nights and thats fast compared to other moisturizers. but i will say everyone of us will experience something different! I also have oily skin and this has not made it worse at all. Wish i could explain this better. I hope you guys have just a great experience with it as i did. if you’re curious about it i definitely say give this a try

I got this with my beauty points and it’s my new favourite moisturiser! My skin has been really stressed lately, what with the cold weather causing red patches and dryness. I put this on at night after my Kiehls midnight serum and I wake up with gorgeous, fresh glowing skin! I have also used it under make up and my skin just looks really bright and much healthier. I really like the cream-gel formula, feels very nice as it sinks into your skin. Will definitely buy the full size of this.

So it’s got fragrances in it and so on... this review is for those who these kinds of brands cater to and without sensitive skin (honestly I would stay away from Lancôme if you’re purging or have easily irritated skin - it’ll make the irritation worse, and the negatives of using it outweigh the positives.) That being said, if you like prefer school brands that are about luxury/the experience of skincare, this is a solid option. It’s light and smells beautiful, and has salicylic acid in it.

Stressed out / combo skin - this is your saving grace! I hardly do reviews - but felt compelled after just a couple days of use! Amazing! If you are looking for something to soak up, not greasy at all - but still moisturize and calm that stressed out skin , this is for you!

My skin is the definition of stressed! Combination EVERYTHING and changes problems constantly so I need a ton of different products for each issue. Before I tried this it was super dry/sensitive from the strong salicylic acid pads I used to treat breakouts. This worked great for me because it moisturized enough to keep my skin balanced without going back to oily/greasy. My skin usually never glows but after putting this on it looks healthy and fresh! I love it!
