I’m so disappointed. I’ve used this product for more than 3 years and have had the best looking skin.I have normal to oily skin. I bought a replacement, without knowing the formula changed. Cystic pimples overnight! I’m so annoyed. Why change something that wasn’t broken??

Was so excited to use this and was so disappointed. Made my skin feel so tight and dry, used it before and after my moisturizer to see if that would help but same result. Don’t waste your money. For reference I have sensitive acne prone skin.

I genuinely don’t understand how this can be classified as a hydrating mask. the texture is fantastic and applies very nicely on the skin. however, it immediately dissolves into the skin leaving your skin feeling extremely dry to the touch. i’ve tried applying it alone and with a moisturizer, even with another hydrating mask underneath and it did the exact same thing ... it left my skin 10x drier than it was before. it completely sucks the moisture out of your skin. i wanted so badly to love this product and was hoping the new formulation would be better and more hydrating but sadly it was not. if you want genuine hydration/moisture go for the summer friday’s jet lag instead!

I was super excited to try this product, I received a sample while out on vacation, the next day I woke up with The worse breakout I’ve ever had from a product .

« Hydrating like a gel cream; not enough for night »

I got this product because of the squalane upgrade. I had the original birthday sampler of the product and I enjoyed the feeling. The original version was nice cooling feel and was hydrating but not enough for a night cream. I was hoping the new upgrade would combat that. It doesn’t for night use. I put it on and it sinks in quick and feels smooth. I wake up with matte skin and not as hydrating and moisturizing as I hoped. I do see this more as a gel cream for summer or spring. To me, it’s not enough for winter or night use.

I originally ordered this product as a mini, and in a matter of 2 weeks of using it regularly I knew I had to order the full size before I ran out. This product has miraculously transformed my skin. My skin has always been mixed with dry and oily patches and comedonal acne all along my neck/jawline and up to my cheeks. I’ve been using Laneige’s sleep mask as a last step in my skincare routine. I go to bed like a glazed donut and wake-up with my skin looking refreshed, moisturized, and ready for the day. I would highly recommend!! ( Honourable mention, the lip sleep mask is also to die for)

I absolutely adore this moisturizer! I have oily skin that is sensitive to the changing weather and dry air. I also use tretinoin which causes my skin to peel and become sensitive. I use this after all my other nighttime skincare and it’s a wonderful barrier that really locks in moisture. The first morning after using this cream I woke up to the most beautiful supple skin I’ve ever had. Not oily in the slightest and my pores were itty bitty. I’ve even used this in the morning before applying makeup and it doesn’t interfere with my foundation and my makeup still lasts all day. I have the trial size now but I’ll definitely be purchasing the full size!

I wanted to like this but am really disappointed. The formula is very thin, and doesn’t actually hydrate my skin for more than a few minutes. After applying, it dissolves into the skin, and my face feels dry again very quickly. An overnight cream/mask should do much better.

In the trash it went. Horrible, most insanely drying face “mask” It’s water based, which I heard dries your skin. I got this as a birthday gift. Especially if u have dry or sensitive skin, steer clear!

I first tried this product because I got a free sample and I love it. I use this mask four times a week on the nights I use retinol. I find it’s really soothing and ensures that the retinol doesn’t irritate my skin. Love it.

« am&pm light, supple moisturizer »

So hydrating without making my skin oily (I have combination skin) and my skin has never been so supple and soft. I’d received this as a sample and bought the larger size. I break out pretty easily and I have had no issues since using this (in fact, it’s my best skin in years!)Super light, not tacky, and I use it in the am and pm!

I first used this some years back when my doctor put me on a course of Isotretinoin (short-lived but intense!) and this was one of the products I used to help bring some much-needed moisture into my dry face. It looks almost like a light blue gel, but with a thicker consistency and hydrates quite effectively. On its own it didn’t work quite as well as my skin needed and I ended up going through a few tubs in succession, layering it on very thickly. However when combined with other Laneige products, and a gentle cleanser, I no longer needed to apply so much, and the results were actually much better. I recently got to try out the newer reformulated version and found it just as effective, if not slightly better than the previous one. I doubt I will be on Isotretinoin again anytime soon, but if somehow it was prescribed to me, I would be ordering a tub of this without hesitation. This leave my skin SO DRY!!! It’s supposed to do the opposite, but I always would wake up with my cheeks feeing super tight and dry whenever I used this. Had to resort to using it in my body to use it up. Would not recommend or repurchase.

First off, a disclaimer: If you have dry skin and like thick creamy moisturizers, this is NOT the product for you. Seriously, don’t waste your money here. Just move on and buy something else. But! If you have oily and/or dehydrated skin and prefer gel moisturizers, you will probably LOVE this moisturizer! It has a wonderful gel consistency, similar to Clinique’s Moisture Surge 100H Moisturizer. It absorbs more quickly than the Clinique, however, making it a better option to layer under makeup. (Yes, I use this Laneige moisturizer both morning and night, not just as a sleeping mask.) Maybe it absorbs more quickly because it includes squalane, which mimics your skin’s natural oils, whereas Clinique uses aloe and hyaluronic acid? Not sure. Regardless, this product leaves my skin soft, plump, and dewy. I love it! After cleansing, I spritz my face with a skin mist and pat on a few drops of hyaluronic acid serum. Then I seal in all that moisturizing goodness with this product. The end result? My skin looks and feels better than it has been in years. Again, love it! 10/10, would recommend!
