Nutrient-Charged Water Gel

My dry winter skin was thirsty for all this product promised. Upon first slathering it on my skin, I thought I was in heaven. It goes on luxuriously thick and hydrating and quickly seeps in almost as if your pores are drinking it up. This will be my go-to product for the summer and spring but unfortunately it just wasn’t hydrating enough for my dry winter skin. Highly recommend if you are normal to oily but if you suffer from severe dryness as i do, this product probably won’t cut it for those harsh, cold months. Smells great and is a gorgeous color! Pro tip: less is more. This doesn’t take much to get the job done and is definitely worth the money for how long I expect it to last.

Where have you been all my life Murad!!I am obsessed with this water gel!! I’ve incorporated it into my daily morning and evening routine for the past 7/8 days and can see and feel noticeable changes in my skin! I’ve been having issues with dull skin and have tried various products but the hydration this product provides to my skin is amazing! Wow! I love this product! I’m a LOYAL user of another brand’s facial products so I was a little skeptical to try this one. However, after just 5 days of using this product, I noticed a difference. I’ve been using the product for a little over a month now and I get so many compliments on my skin. It just feels plumper, youthful and more hydrated. My makeup even looks smoother. This may have just replaced my favorite serum. I was sent this product through a promotional campaign.

I’m turning 50 this year and have recently started using retinoids. If you’re not already aware, retinoids can dry out your skin as they work their magic. Fortunately for me, Murad’s Education Executive happened to be in my local store during my last visit. She introduced me to a number of products including this one. She gave me a generous sample, and after multiple days of use, I’m convinced it’s a must have as part of my skincare regimen. It lived up to its claims and my foundation looks so much better thanks to this product’s extraordinary hydrating properties. With so many new skincare companies launching, I had been overlooking this medical backed (and cruelty free!) company that has been around for years. Needless to say, I’m now looking at Murad with a fresh perspective, and excited to explore more of the products.

« Works but not for sensitive type skin »

This product is light (a water gel) and absorbs into your skin easily. It does its job by making skin soft, however it does not improve complexion and is not necessarily for sensitive skin types. It caused me to break out and there is a semi-light smell to it. I don’t like products that have a purfumey smell, especially if it’s going on all over my face and neck because the smell becomes overwhelming. It does what it says it does. I just can’t personally see myself buying this product for the price it’s set at.

I received a sample of this product for free from Influenster. It is AMAZING. My skin is so dry from living in New England during the winter. This is weightless and so moisturizing. I am in love! My previous moisturizer wasn’t cutting it and left my face feeling heavy, this has been so so much better!

i really love murad, but this isn’t my favorite. it rolled up all over my face. little balls of whatever. i tried it alone, with a different serum primer. maybe it won’t roll on u but it did on me.i exfoliate regularly so its not that. hmm. oh well.

« The Perfect Daytime Moisturizer »

After years of searching, I’ve finally found my perfect daytime moisturizer. For context--I’m in my late twenties, and my skin, while never terrible, has rarely been great. I tend towards redness, I get hormonal cystic acne on my chin and occasionally smaller breakouts on my cheeks. I get intermittently dry and oily, depending on conditions. I use retin-a, which has helped a lot, but has sensitized my skin. I found that my previous moisturizer seemed to be causing oily buildup on my skin and I didn’t think it had the right set of ingredients to complement the rest of my routine. Though I’ve always been wary of gel formulas (as I often find their hydration fleeting), I decided to give this a chance based on its ingredient profile (niacinimide, other b vitamins, vitamin e, peptides, and hyaluronic acid)--despite the fact that it didn’t contain a ceramide or occlusive. I’m unbelievably glad I took this chance. The texture is amazing--silky smooth, and I’ve never found a daytime moisturizer that packs this many good ingredients that doesn’t activate my sensitivity! As some reviewers have mentioned, there is fragrance. However 1) I personally love the smell--it’s very delicate and luxurious and 2) it has not caused me any sensitivity, despite my retin-a sensitized skin. My skin stays moisturized (but not oily) all day. « Rolls off :( »

I love a gel moisturizer and the scent of this product, but am I the only one who can’t wear it for longer than an hour before it starts to roll off? I’ve never worn it with makeup because after a while, it becomes a layer I can feel and it just rolls right off. This is on clean or dirty skin, with a serum or without, etc. I’ve tried it all ways and it just rolls off no matter what! I have combination skin, so maybe that’s why? But I am confused as to why this would occur...

I was having extreme issues with my skin. It was leathery looking dry and oily at the same time and makeup would look uneven. I was getting acne and I discovered my skin type was dehydrated. An employee recommended this to me and I got it even though the price was so high. I read the ingredients and nothing looked irritating. And within 2 days of using my skin got clearer, the lines I was getting from dehydration did plump up and my acne has started to subside. My skin is somehow getting brighter and it’s no longer as oily as it was. This has been a miracle for me.

Been using this for a few weeks now. And the change is noticeable! My skin stays hydrated longer than ever before and I don’t get the greasy heavy feeling of other moisturizers. Extremely lightweight and with a wonderful smell, I can’t wait to put it on every morning!

Exceptionally hydrating without feeling even slightly heavy. I have sensitive/acne prone skin. It beats Drunk Elephant.

Of all the skincare products I’ve used over the years, this is by far the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. It feels so good going on to my skin! I have very dry skin and my face stays smooth all day and night long. I love this product!
