« The original was much better. »

I’ve used the original for years and loved it. The new one still has the orange fragrance which is great, but it doesn’t absorb as quickly and it leaves my skin shiny, which I hate. Sadly I will be returning this and looking for a new brand.

This is my first go with the Ginzing collection and I’m pleasantly surprised. This is a true gel cream formula that absorbs into the skin without leaving a sticky residue. It leaves my skin nice and dewy but not greasy and wears well underneath makeup. The citrus smell is really light and I don’t find it to be irritating. Overall, a great moisturizer for oily/combo skin types.

LOVE the scent of this moisturizer! The orange-y citrus scent definitely wakes me up and feel refreshed. The moisturizer applies nicely and doesn’t look greasy/oily. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

This gel cream is perfection. I love the scent- yummy, refreshing orange. A little goes a long way with this gel and my skin just drinks it up and feels refreshed, tight and moisturized. It sets perfectly under makeup too. I am obsessed and will continue to use this as a staple in my skincare routine.

This moisturizer resembles a water cream and my combination skin loves it because it makes it feel balanced and hydrated without being too heavy or greasy. It delivers that refreshing feel of a water cream with its lovely gel texture. It is so bouncy, lightweight and will make you feel awake imediately upon application. It also gives instant radiance. The delicious and soft citrusy scent makes you feel uplifted. I truly enjoy this cream. A little goes a long way yet I love to be generous with it to really appreciate its hydrating and reviving luxe texture on my skin. I also do appreciate the lovely, simple yet well thought out packaging.

I really wanted to like this moisturizer, but I cannot get over the intense citrus smell! I don’t mind products that have some fragrance, but this is really potent. However, I like the moisturizer itself, as its a perfect daytime moisturizer. Not too heavy, sinks well into the skin, and works well under makeup. I also love the caffeine and niacinamide because it really plumps your skin up in the morning, I just can’t get past the smell. I also don’t love that it uses essential oils, as people with sensitive skin may have issue with it and I tend to break out from them. I wish they could make a similar product without the oils!

« Wish the original formula would come back »

The original was my ride-or-die. I repurchased it multiple times because it worked great with my skincare routine, so I was upset to see it get replaced but decided to give the new formula a try. The new one does not work for me. The consistency is slimy and leaves my skin tacky. I have tried it in multiple ways, with and without serums or other products, and every single time my face gets itchy and I have started to break out. This is the first time I will be returning a product which is sad because I used to love the old formula. I will now have to look for a new moisturizer.

Received this in exchange for review. I have purchased GinZing a couple times over the years, and this reformulated version is just as nice! I’m not a huge fan of essential oils in my skincare, but these did not irritate my skin and the scent didn’t linger. I’m pretty sensitive, so this was good to find. It’s a light refreshing gel that isn’t sticky and didn’t pill.

This moisturizer has the perfect texture, especially for warm weather. It keeps my skin looking and feeling very nourishing, but controls oil production.I like to keep it in my fridge and, love to use it in the AM, super cool and the caffeine makes my face look more awake and depuffed.

From the first day of using this product till now, I have seen a complete difference. I would highly recommend this product to pretty much anyone looking for a moisturizer. I was gifted this product from origin.

Really love this product - the application is smooth and don’t have to use a tonne of product to cover your face and neck. I saw some comments regarding the orange scent and found it refreshing and it faded quickly after application, which was exactly what I want in skincare. I have only removed a star, as I wish this was in glass packaging and not plastic.

This gel cream has a mixture of orange/citrus smell which I loved! It is incredible how it has Caffeine, Ginseng, Vitamin C and Niacinamide which have contributed to how bright my skin looks. It is a perfect moisturizer to include in your AM and PM routine.

Great light-weight gel moisturizer. Absorbs quickly and leaves skin hydrated but not oily. Strong orange scent, which I really like but maybe not for everyone.

This was my second time trying a Ginzing product and it was pretty good! I love when my skin looks healthy and glowy and this product definitely did that. It’s a gel formula so it isn’t too heavy or greasy so it’s perfect for oily/combo skin! Also if you are not into fragrances then I would skip on this because it smells very citrusy.

I was so excited to try the new reformulated GinZing Energizing gel cream! Years ago I had purchased the original and I loved it for my skin. I love that it is a gel/cream combo. It’s not too thick for my oily skin, however it sinks into the skin really quick because of it also being a gel. It still has that original citrus scent that I just love! It puts me in such a good mood when applying. It keeps my skin glowing from within and that is truly my goal at the end of the day. It works beautifully underneath makeup as well due to its consistency and texture. I’m happy to have this moisturizer in my rotating skincare routine. Glowy skin for the win!
