this isn’t a mask to brighten, clarify or exfoliate. this is a mask to use when you’ve tried to brighten, clarify and exfoliate *too much*. i do not have dry skin, but recently i was fighting a hormonal breakout and i over did it. from over cleansing and over treating, my skin was confused, upset and stressed (breaking out more, tight and red). when i realized what was going on, i put this mask on and it instantly soothed and balanced my skin. a sigh of relief. now, my skin is back on track and pH is balanced again. i highly recommend this mask to be something anyone could reach for if their skin is screaming for a break. it could happen to any of us !

I hate giving bad reviews. I got a deluxe sample and was able to get several uses out. My overall opinion is that it didn’t really do much. It didn’t irritate my skin and felt refreshing, but aloe could have the same thing for a fraction of the price. I don’t dislike the product, but it is not worth buying the full size for me

So our store got this in, and myself, being a huge PTR fan, I HAD to try this one! Considering the value, the amount of product, and the ingredients that were listed.“... Botanical extracts of cucumber, papaya, chamomile, pineapple, sugar maple, sugarcane, orange, lemon, bilberry, and aloe.“All sounded great to me!I actually used this as a night time moisturizer on accident, and now thankful I did. It works wonders, its soothing, it clears up little break out you may have literally over night, calms redness on the fact, hydrates, all of the above!This product will not disappoint you -- I wash with his acne wash, follow with Ole’s Truth Serum while my face is still a little damp, and apply a thin layer of this and let it dry for about five minutes and sleep with it on.Must buy!:)

This mask is one of the most helpful products for managing rosacea that I’ve found - even better than some of the prescription medicines for me. If I have a flare up threatening, and wear it over night, the redness is less in the morning. Generally my face is very dry and super sensitive.
« Calming, Hydrates »
If you have redness, this is the stuff to use!! IMy rosacea gets bad when I eat something that doesn’t agree with my skin. This stuff is a lifesaver when that happens!!! The redness is calm after one day and 95% gone after 2 days. I just apply a thin layer at night and leave it on. Next day, my skin is soft with little if any redness and well hydrated. Doesn’t clog my pores either. I know it looks like the aloe vera gel you can get in the store for sunburns, but this stuff does so much more!!!
« Completely transformed my irritated skin! »
This was recommended to me by a Sephora employee. I had been using Drunk Elephant TLC (along with the rest of the line) for a few weeks and i started to notice it was ripping the moisture out of my skin. I developed these awful red dry patches around my chin and mouth and could not get them to go away with anything! Not only did they look ugly, but they really hurt to put even light makeup on to cover them up! The DE product was just too intense for my skin. I tried switching to a simple Cetaphil wash and moisturizer and the irritation still was not subsiding. I decided to go into Sephora and told the employee my issue and she immediately pointed me to this mask. Needless to say, it completely changed my skin over night!!! I woke up absolutely SHOCKED at how much the redness and irritation had subsided. It completely re-balanced and restored my skin within just 3 nights of wearing a light layer overnight. I was so impressed that I switched my entire skincare routine from Drunk Elephant to PeterThomasRoth. Not hating on Drunk Elephant, i do love their moisturizer, but personally the TLC and babyfacial was way too strong for my skin. I am so grateful for the Sephora employee who was knowledgable enough to point me in this direction. Absolutely recommend this mask to anyone with sensitive skin, sunburnt skin, irritated skin, or skin that just needs a detox from harsh products.

My new secret weapon for super dry skin and puffy face after a late night. Put this on for 10 minutes (if you keep it in the fridge it feels 10x better!), then wash off and spray your face with Caudalie Beauty Elixir spray and you’ll look like you got 10 sober hours of restful sleep, even if you didn’t.

I visited my local sephora a few months ago looking for some skin care suggestions. I have had acne since I was a teenager, nothing too terrible but consistent and I was never comfortable without a full cover, full face of makeup. I’m now 25 and really wanted to focus on healing my skin and taking care of the problems rather than covering them. One of the employees suggested for me to replace my mosturizers with this product and use it in small amounts and rub it in, don’t wash it off. A week later I noticed my blemishes were smaller and nothing new was forming. Here I am maybe 2 months later with blemish free skin! I’ve tried many different cleansers and treatments before and I’ve never had skin like this! I’m honestly still blown away!!!

As a licensed professional I swear by this mask. I recommend my clients to use it with the nuderma off Amazon. And it is truly a magic wand when paired. No other product can take care of acne like this duo. However I will say, for those reviews who “aren’t impressed” it’s important to be realistic, it’s a cucumber mask. It is going to detox and brighten the skin. If you experience tingling or burning as some reviews mention, that is due to a compromised lipid barrier, dehydrated skin or general allergy. It is not the mask itself, that’s important to remember. This mask provides a wonderful fresh glow and light hydration. Safe for all skin types. « Not that impressive….BUT »
When used as directed (leave on for ten minutes and then rinse with cool water) I didn’t notice any difference. My skin was still very dry and patchy. I did however put a generous coat on and sleep with it over night and that really did the trick. When I woke up my dry patches were gone. I would recommend trying that if you already bought the product and don’t want to waste it, otherwise I don’t know if I would recommend buying it if you don’t like having a thick layer of gel on your face at night.

This was so HARSH on my skin. I left it on for 5 minutes and my face became massively red. The following day it left my skin super stingy, hot and BRIGHT RED. I also had a massive breakout.

I am a mask fiend, and have a collection of beauty product that would rival a beauty editors. I have sensitive and stubborn skin and this is hands down the best product I have ever used, hands down, period. The mask is meant to detoxify and hydrate but where I put it to use and see the best results is eliminated redness and calming zits, or irritate skin ( I know picking is bad but we all do it) and fear not because now you can leave the bathroom without a blotchy red face....this product is a godsend!

After first sampling this and then purchasing the mask set (with the rose stem cell and pumpkin enzyme masks), I really did enjoy using this product after keeping it chilled in the fridge. While it does soothe, refresh and cool the skin, it may not be that game changer that one expects at this price if his/her skin is not constantly undergoing intensive skin treatments (see product description). Yes, it is convenient to have this when you need to depuff the eye area or have occasional redness/irritation, but there are more cost effective ways to achieve similar results (if you’re budget-minded). Also, be wary of its bold claim as an ’extreme detoxifying hydrator’.

I’ve used this for over 5 years. This is SO good for oily or combination skin. DO NOT WIPE IT OFF. Use about a nickel sized amount on your face and neck, rub it in and let it dry. It’s not sticky and absorbs completely. Perfect to wear under makeup. Keeps skin very soft and does not break you out if you have sensitive skin. I honestly don’t know why anyone would use it as a mask, it is the best ever moisturizer for oily skin!

I have extremely acne prone, oily to combo skin. I started using this as a face mask to hydrate (which it does well) but then one day I was out of my regular night time moisturizer so I applied a thin layer of this as my night time moisturizer. I woke up the next morning and all the redness from my pimples were gone and they had dramatically reduced in size. I recommend this especially for treating acne. It works better than my prescribed acne treatments!!!
