I’ve tried the cucumber mask from PTR and I liked it, but it wasn’t the one for my skin type. I’m super dehydrated and dry and let me tell you my expectations for this were high but realistic. I purchased it and slathered it on my face, and 10 minutes of tingling later, my face felt like SILK! This stuff is AMAZING, the amount of hydration I got from a single use left me glowing. I recommend this to anyone with super dry and dehydrated skin, it won’t disappoint you!

« Put it in the fridge!! »

This mask feels amazing and is super hydrating.. but in a georgia hot humid summer.. nothing has felt better than this mask IN THE FRIDGE!! Its so cooling and soothing. Its a little sticky at first but it absorbs into the skin pretty fast. I love this mask

« Perfect basic, hydrating mask for any routine »

This is the first review I’ve ever left on ANYTHING that I’ve ever bought! But I love this mask so much, I have to hype it up so PTR keeps making it. I use a ton of different actives in my routine and have searched for years for the perfect hydrating mask that I can add to my routine anytime. THIS IS IT! A perfect, basic mask for when your skin needs a little more moisture. I had over exfoliated and my barrier was in serious need of repair and this fixed it within a matter of days. My skin is plump, hydrated, and any hyperpigmentation I have heals so much faster when I use this. It has never irritated my skin and has only helped my acne, which is rare for me to find with such a hydrating product. I use it multiple times a week and am always pleased with the subtle extra moisture and glow this gives me. Give this a chance! Use it often to see the best results! Can work in super complicated or super simple routines. Highly recommend!

« My new favorite mask »

I know PTR products are effective at working. I like the water drench line because I live in an area where my skin becomes easily dehydrated. I have used this several times and the results for me are consistent—after several minutes (left at room temperature) the mask produces a nice cooling effect on the skin. It’s so refreshing to use this mask that I might want to use it everyday because I also don’t need a lot. My biggest surprise is how much better my skin looks afterwards—not only is it plumper and less red, but my pores are tighter and my contours look more toned (especially when I wake up puffy and swollen-looking after a long night). My skin does feel more hydrated following use of this mask, and my skincare plays nicely with this by absorbing in well. I definitely want to try and keep this in the refrigerator to elevate the cooling sensation!

In my mid-30’s I realized my skin needed help waking up every day, and this is my wake up mask. My eye puffs and fine and deep lines look a million times better after this mask- I put it on during my morning coffee/treadmill and voila.

« Too cold »

I personally didn’t enjoy this mask. It was way too cold on my skin, the menthol is overpowering. Also, it was so thick that I found it hard to wash off. My point of comparison for a gel-type mask is the Fresh Rose mask which feels so lovely on the skin.

I live in a dry state and although my skin is oily, I still have dry patches. This works sooooo good! It has a tingling refreshing feeling. I wear it in the shower and rinse It off before get out.

« Not My Fave »

This mask is polarizing; either you love it or you hate it. It has a really strong cooling effect which I enjoy but have heard others say they don’t care for it. It’s also very thick to the point that it’s takes some effort to wash it off. This doesn’t bother me too much but again, I know others who have different opinions. Despite the cooling and the heaviness, I would like this mask more if I felt super hydrated after the fact but I don’t. It seems like the mask does something while it’s on the skin but once it’s washed off it’s like it was never there.

Lovely texture, leaves skin feeling especially cool and hydrated - great for warmer areas!! Noticed hugely positive difference in skin with everyday use within 1 week.

I feel like it really helps clear up breakouts!! Definitely tingled and had that cooling sensation. Really enjoyed this mask and felt like it really worked at clearing my skin while improving the texture and appearance of my skin!

I have used this for the past year and it helps so much to soothe and instant decrease dryness when I overdo ahas/bhas/clay masks

« Dangerous Formula »

PTR boggles my mind. The formulas are brilliant, but hiding in every formula of PTR is a “no-go” ingredient. An ingredient that is not “meh” but rather, an ingredient that is harmful to skin. Sure enough, I was loving this product, loving the ingredients, until…….. menthol. Menthol is a known skin irritant. Menthol causes inflammation, redness, irritation, burning, stinging….. I could go on and on. It’s a dangerous ingredient. Almost there PTR. Almost there……
