« Post-Acne spots fading, leaves skin glowing. »
I am 22 years old with very mild acne and light-medium skin tone. Normally I will get one or two small acne bumps a month.However, during my college finals this month my skin dramatically changes. I developed large bumps deep under my skin along my chin and neck. They were painful and lasted for weeks.I was looking for something that would help exfoliate my pores, and naturally peel the red and brown marks left behind by the acne. I was pleasantly surprised by this product.I used it every other day, leaving it on after showering for 15 minutes (even though the directed time is 10 minutes). After the first application my skin which was dull and drab from acne lotions became radiant and glowing. After a four days my acne marks began to turn red and become smaller. The acne left behind was immediately relieved and the swelling went down.I recommend this to people dealing with post-acne scarring and do not want to aggravate it.Since this large acne flare-up was unusual, I look forward to using this product even after my skin returns to its clear normality because it is so refreshing and gives skin that baby-skin glow.PROS:-Skin glows as if hydrated and new-Diminished post-acne scarring, marks/spots-Helped with painful acne swelling-Does not sting skin (unless put on open cut/ acne)-Does not have horrible ’doctor’s office’ smell some peelsdo-Does not run down face when applied, sticks where youput it.CONS:-Must apply liberally, I can easily see going through thisbottle soon.Fruit acids in this product have been used in a lot of successful products in Europe, especially Italy and Greece, where I have family and often visit, so I am not surprised this item is from European origin.

After reviewing various ways to improve my skin (entered my 30s this year), I came across several articles stressing the importance of exfoliation. There are two different types of exfoliation; manual (think scrubs) and chemical. Chemical exfoliation works to penetrate your surface layer of skin and “loosen“ up all of those dead skin cells that can clog your pores and give you that dull appearance.A month ago I had a facial and experienced my first “chemical“ peel. They used a glycolic-based product. I was very underwhelmed. I have a very stubborn blackhead on my cheek that this “professional“ peel did nothing to treat, in fact, it made it look much worse.Enter REN’s Glycolactic renewal peel mask. I was lucky enough to get this as a rewards deluxe sample at Sephora. I applied as directed; on a clean face, thin layer, left on for 10 minutes. I did feel a tingle, similar to the way I felt when I had my professional peel done. I did not expect this to be a “peel“ as people may traditionally think of. This is a chemical exfoliation; not a peel off mask.About 9 minutes into my 10 minute treatment I began the “tap“ method with my finger tips. Just lightly tapping my face (as directed) to further loosen up any dead skin. I then rinsed my face with warm water, put on a light moisturizer and went to sleep.I did notice before I went to bed that any blemishes that I did have on my face appeared a little more red than normal. In the morning...the redness was completely gone. My skin was incredibly smooth and here is the BIGGEST surprise...my stubborn blackhead, the one that even the professional peel could not budge, was GONE. GONE!For that alone, I give this gem five stars. I plan to continue to use this once per week to see what other benefits I will derive.Also, I am not sure if this is common practice, but I did read that perhaps three or four days after a chemical peel, a manual exfoliation (with a traditional scrub) can be done as a few days after the chemical peel your skin may or may not flake.I hope this may help some of you. This truly is a spa-like quality peel that delivers.

Skin type: very dry, acne-prone, medium skin tone with uneven skinPros: This is one of 2 masks I’ve tried where I see instantaneous results after the first use. My skin was visibly brighter, had improved texture and overall slightly more even skin tone. I’ve been using it once per week for almost 6 months now and I can say that it has had the biggest impact on reducing my areas of hyperpigmentation and texture and leaves me with an amazing glow.The packaging is a delight to use Cons: With once per week I get 6-7 uses out of this bottle. Which is quite pricey. Can have a slight tingling effect with the first couple uses but my skin got used to it after a while Overall: Will repurchase forever. *pic below is right after washing off the mask*

I got 18 uses out of one bottle when applying one full pump of the mask to my face and neck. Using about 1x/week helped me maintain smooth skin, giving the effect of a glowing and healthy complexion.I like the packaging of this mask because it has a pump, which I typically like better than masks in a jar that you scoop out with your fingers (The Sephora sales associate told me to make sure the pump is covered by the small nozzle cap and container case to prevent the product from drying out). I also like that the product is held within a liner, ensuring that you can use every last bit of the mask!If you are interested in trying some of the REN Radiance products, there’s a kit that gives you a full size bottle of the mask (w/cloth) and a deluxe sample of the scrub and serum for a couple extra dollars!

Let me preface this with I never write reviews, and I have NOT A LICK OF MAKEUP ON AT ALL... I SWEAR!!! I chose this as one of my samples, on my last purchase. I’m so glad that I did because I discovered a holy grail mask, ladies. This takes 10 minutes to make your face awesome. Clear, tight pores, rosy cheeks, moisturized, glowing naturally. This stuff is gold in a bottle seriously. I will be repurchasing the larger size and probably trying the other products, as well. If your smart you’ll get on the stick and snag you some of this stuff, too. It goes on like an oil and it doesn’t burn nor tingle. It just sits there. I actually kept mine on for 20 minutes because I forgot it was there. It doesn’t dry...it just soaks into your skin a little bit, but not all the way. Then when you go to wipe it off and then rinse your face after you wipe the access , you’ll think that you didn’t get it all off because your skin will be so soft that you’ll think it’s product that’s left on your skin. It’s not. It’s not. It’s your face---your own gorgeous skin. So don’t hesitate, just trust. You won’t be dissappointed. What a great product. Thank you Sephora for introducing me to this wonderful product. I hope that this helps someone out there because like I said I never write reviews I’d rather be shopping. ;)

I originally got this mask as a sample. I used it twice and was pleased with the way my skin looked so I bought the full size. I’ve used this product a total of 4 times and I am in shock. It has almost cleared my poc marked acne scars completely up. And they were old and very deep scars from cystic acne. I mean it is unbelievable. People have actually came up to me grabbed my face and turned my head back and forth and asked what type of scar removal have I been undergoing. I never thought I’d ever in 10 million years see my skin look almost scar free. I’m so happy I could cry. Thank you Ren and Sephora for making a miracle happen.
« REMARKABLE, & SAFE FOR EVEN SENSITIVE SKIN! »
I am writing in the hope that this review might be helpful to those with sensitive skin who are afraid to use this product. I have very sensitive skin, but chose to use it despite being warned against it by the Sephora employee with whom I spoke during my last visit there. My skin is terribly dry and peels all the time, which is why I was looking for a good exfoliator (without microbeads as those always seem to cause me to break out). I have only used this once, but I am already quite impressed! It didn’t sting in the least, and caused no redness whatsoever - just a bit of, for lack of a better word, glow! My skin is already more even and hydrated. I can’t wait to see the changes going forward. I highly recommend that you at least get a sample and give this a try, as I believe it could really help you if your skin is at all like mine. All the best!

If you want to have glowing, radiant skin then this is your product. Not the greatest scent, but that’s what you have to compromise on when you have the most effective ingredients, it’s worth the compromise!Wow!Melasma, hyperpigmentation, blackheads, large pores, GONE.This is IT. Never going to be without this mask. Done. Fave. Love it.

A dermatologist told me my skin was already in excellent shape and that a V-Peel for 250.00 would not give me much better results than I currently have. I told her I’d been using REN and she was impressed. I walked out with 250.00 in my pocket and the dermatologist asked for information on REN. I was thrilled that she couldn’t really improve on my skin because it was already in marvelous condition.

All I have to say is WOW. I went on a bit of a sephora binge about 2 months ago trying everything and anything to stop the sudden acne attack I was experiencing. I have pretty average skin, gets a bit oily during the day but nothing crazy. I had tried Korres products which I found did nothing at all, I bought a Clarisonic Mia which made my acne about 100 times worse and Ole Henrikson products (which I still use and think are great) but it wasn’t until I started using REN that I saw any results. This mask is so amazing and feels great on that I wish I could use it everyday. I currently use it about once a week or whenever my skin starts to feel a little rough or I get a break out. I leave it on for about 30 - 40 minutes as I really like to see results fast. Literally as soon as you wash it off you can notice a difference in your skin. It feels baby smooth and any blemishes that were there before vanish. I cannot say enough good things about this product and for anyone on the fence about this, all I have to say is get yourself a sample and you will quickly run to sephora for the full size. Truly amazing :)

I’ve never tried a product once and then committed to buying the full size, until now. I’ve used this mask 3 times and after every treatment, I seriously consider never using anything else again.It’s made with a potent mix of 4 alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs); glycolic, lactic, citric, and tartaric. This mix gently exfoliates, resurfaces, and firms the skin, leaving you with a radiant glow. It’s got a natural honey-like texture (minus the stickiness) and a light fruity scent. And like all REN products, it’s made with clean, sustainably sourced ingredients (woo!).The results live up to the hype. Every time I’ve used this mask my skin is smooth, tone is balanced, and my pores are reduced. I’ve also notice that my dark spots are fading after every use. The best part about this mask is how long the results last. I can go almost the entire week with soft, plump, glowing skin.Words cannot describe how much I LOVE this mask. Without a doubt, this beauty is a holy grail!

This product is best for dull skin, redness and broken capillaries. I love this product! My skin is smoother and redness reduced. This doesn’t cure the broken caps but definitely shrinks them with the lactic acid. I use it twice a week for a more even complexion.I am 44 with oily skin. This is just the ticket. I wish these reviews would include an age range of the reviewer. A 20- something will not see much of anything with this product. A 40 or 50- something? Yes, guaranteed immediate complexion improvement. Love it. It is a date-night must-have.

Ok guys, this stuff is amazing. Buy it, buy it, buy it, buy it. I promise you won’t be disappointed. This resurfaces my skin every single time I use it, once a week. It’s not drying and kind of sticky and a bit tingly. I had those deep down blackheads that I couldn’t get out no matter what mask I used, this stuff saved my skin. I leave it on for 15 minutes wipe off the surface and the rinse my skin like it says and I’m telling you in two weeks my skin is the clearest it has ever been. I use glam glows thirsty mud in the evening after this mask for some extra hydration for my dry skin.

This mask is beautiful... encourages soft smooth and luminous skin. I leave it on as long as I can. I don’t have super sensitive skin so it’s just a warmth I feel while its on. Just before I rinse, I use my extractor and gently do all my extractions to get all of the sebum and any blackheads out of my pores. It is a very gentle mask I use it maybe twice a month like a treatment. As a part of my routine it is a great product to have in my arsenal when I need something to help with congestion and obtain that glow.

I have suffered over the years with constant break outs, big and small. Rarely having a day when i dont have to cover something up with makeup. I got a sample of this from the girl at Sephora, after searching for a face scrub for my acne prone skin. She suggested that I do not use anything abrasive, but if I want something intensive and clarifying like a scrub, she suggested this REN peel mask. And boy, im glad she did. I left it on after I washed my face, for like 20 mins (more sensitive skin may only be able to leave it on for 10 mins.) I washed it off and continued with my normal skin care regimen and went to bed. I woke up to a clear, toned, and brighter complexion, which doesn’t usually happen because I have light acne scars and mild acne. This was amazing in sloughing off all the dead skin and revealing radiant skin!!! I would only suggest this once a week, but if you are looking for something intensive, this is your guy! Only down side is the price, but if you suffer from hyper-pigmentation and want more even skin tone, I believe this works fairly well. The girl at sephora said the bottle is good for about 12 uses, so that’s about 3 months. But i would definitely consider buying this once my samples run out. Oh, and this smells AMAZING!!!!
