Instant Masks

I bought two of these: the cbd ’mousse’ mask and the peppermint gum mask. I don’t like when sephora groups things together that have different effects. They lack in description, I feel, when I’m trying to discern which one would be best for me.The cbd mask was nice and i will purchase it again when its gone. It is more of a gel than a mousse. I used this around my time of the month, when my skin just doesnt like me. While i didnt feel like it did anything to make any acne less, it did feel calming and soothing and when i took it off, my skin felt noticeably happier. Its application and removal are easy and quick. It doesnt dry like a clay mask or like the peppermint mask did, so i was able to leave it on a bit longer than the instructions said. The peppermint mask was less of a favorite of mine. I dislike the removal process. Next time i may skip the ’exfoliator at the end and just try washing it off. It dries into almost a peel off mask. The directions say to roll it around until it balls up and comes off. I felt like the removal took just about as long as it did to let it sit on my face to dry (5-10 minutes). I was worried about tugging and pulling my skin to get it off, so i gently started rubbing my hands over my cheeks. It did begin to ball up and come off, but it was not without effort and i did feel like it tugged a little getting it done. The peppermint was nice though and, now that I’ve removed it, my skin is definitely softer. For $7, it is worth a try. Definitely avoid the eye sockets with this one, because you either will tug at them getting it off or you’re going to have to wash it off to avoid that.Both bottles apply thinly and have quite a good amount in the tube. I like both of these masks and am glad i tried them. I would try others to see how they feel.

The oat muesli is everything I want in an affordable face mask. But why oh why did they have to include fragrance. That completely defeats the purpose of using a mask to calm irritated or red skin. It ruins an otherwise good product.

I bought the toning peppermint mask because I love all things peppermint. First off it smells so good! I applied a thin layer to my face per the directions and left it on for 15 minutes rather than the 10 that was recommended. It felt so cool and refreshing I didn’t want to take it off. It rinsed off with water easily and left my skin feeling incredibly refreshed and clean. I don’t know if it causes tightness because I applied my serum and moisturizer immediately afterwards. It didn’t irritate my skin at all. It actually brightened my skin and I looked less tired than usual. I work a lot and have a four year old boy so I’m permanently tired. Lol I will absolutely buy this again.

smells delicious. I got the banana one. leave on for 5 min no longer. really adds moisture and softness. has a bit of a numbing sensation at the 5th minute. It smells SO good if you love the smell and texture of banana this is really great for the price!

I have dry and sensitive skin. I decided to try out the oat mask as my face was pretty red at the end of the day. it really soothes the skin, my skin was less red after the 5 minutes mask, however I felt a little weird sensation while it was on my face. I think it’s the amount of fragrance. It wasn’t painful just like a tingle, but I think if you leave it more than the 5 minutes your skin will itch. also I felt it very heavy and oily like a melting balm at first but it rinses off very well, no residue. well for $9 dollars it works. Just feels weird on my sensitive skin.

The scent of the grapefruit is outstanding. I was surprised at how much product was in the tube. This will last me a while. I put it on and forgot about it for a minute because I left it on about 5 minutes more than the instructions said to. Either way when I rinsed it off not only was the smell amazing, but my skin was so smooth! For no more than I paid it was a steal. I like the size of this product a lot just because there is no extra to waste and let sit on a shelf to be forgotten about (we all know how that happens). I do not like to waste anything so it’s perfect and is easily travel ready because of it’s compact size!

« Chemical ‘peeling’ mask »

This is a chemical peeling mask, not a peel off mask. The instructions for the mask make that quite clear. It has AHA (lactic acid) in an unknown percentage, but enough that it can cause some skin sensitivity issues and damage your moisture barrier if left on for too long. There is some physical exfoliation, but not enough to really do anything. I’ve used it 5 times and it’s about half way done. It’s easy to wash off in the shower with just water. Leaves your face super smooth and bright. There are way too many 1 star reviews from people who can’t be bothered to read the instructions. It says to wash off the mask, not peel it off. Don’t be discouraged from all the negativity. It’s a good cheap, mask that does the job if you’re on a budget.

I bought the hemp mousse mask and the banana cream one and honestly not the absolute best masks I’ve ever used, but they are really nice for $7 a pop! Plus you easily can get more than 5 uses from each.The hemp mask was not really a mousse texture in my opinion and I didn’t get a strong scent with it like I’ve seen in some of the other reviews. It wasn’t the most effective at calming some of my acne, but I did notice that a few of my larger blemishes were smaller after using. My red patches were much calmer after using as well. So not my go to anti-blemish mask, but I’m not mad at it.I enjoyed the banana cream one a lot more. I loved the scent of it and I really did feel like it nourished my skin! I used this after a stronger exfoliant scrub to give it a fair chance and I have to say, I was quite impressed. Because the scent is stronger with this one though, I would probably stay away if your skin is sensitive to fragrance.

My store got these in and I just had to have them. I have combo skin and sometimes get some texture on my forehead and on my jawline and neck where i shave. For 7 bucks you wonder how high quality the product must be but the sephora collection never disappoints in my opinion. It instantly smoothed my skin and left my skin looking radiant. Not so much a peeling mask more of an exfoliating mask. I think all masks are epically great before makeup application and good for daily use.

I purchased the berry smoothie and it smells JUST like s fresh smoothie! I noticed the packaging says “5 uses” but I used about a half dollar size and it was more than enough for a thicker mask. It doesn’t really dry down, but provides a lightweight feel. No tightness, stinging, or unpleasantness! I’m not sure if it really does much to stand up to its claims, but I’d consider purchasing other scents just for the scent alone. I anticipate one tube will last for at least 15-20 masks.

I tried the Oat Museli mask and I love it. I have combination skin that is on the dryer side and this leaves my face feeling so moisturized. I like to use it before I put on makeup. The tube says you get 5 uses, but I got 8 uses from my first tube. I’m now on the second tube. I highly recommend for dryer skin types.

I love this oatmeal mask! It soothes and calms sensitive skin. It’s easy to apply and easy to remove, which is hard to find with oatmeal masks. Plus, it smells sooo good and only $7!

« Promising mask! »

After using once, my face felt softer and looked smooth and plump. The formula is definitely concentrated and I was surprised by the slight tingling sensation. I am looking forward to using twice a week as directed and hoping to see some improvement on some of my stubborn acne scars. I will definitely be able to get more than 5 application out of this mask, as the formula goes on thin.One of my favorite things about this mask is that the application time is only 3 minutes, which is easy to fit into my beauty routine!

Gentle, works great, calms skin. Pleasant oatmeal comfort-food smell. Added moisture and calmed reactive skin. Will definitely purchase again, motivated to check out the other sephora masks. Keep products like this one coming!

So I actually really love this face mask, it does exactly what it says it’s going to do, HOWEVER, if you are sensitive to scents, the hemp mask is NOT for you. it triggered a really bad migraine for me, so won’t be purchasing again.
