« glowing new skin »
I first came across this product when I was in Japan. I started using this product on 3/21/19 and now 4/1/19 i have been getting complements on my skin. My skin looks a lot more hydrated, refresh, and brighter. Im glad that this product is now in the US. cant wait to see my result in a month.
« TERRIBLE »
it’s sticky, does not moisturize and honestly doesn’t do anything but sit on top of your skin. My skin gets irritated after using it, and I haven’t noticed any benefits regarding dark spots even though I had been using it for around 2 months. IMPORTANT: it also contains so many different types of alcohol, all of which are bad for the skin and dry it out even more. This causes premature wrinkles, clogged pores, patchy skin and even permanent damage after long term use.

Skin is definitely brighter and my face is nice and soft in the morning after night time application. Just using this at night but seeing some nice results. Love that it is gel-like, I do not wake up greasy in the morning. My skin seems to absorb it well. It’s pricey for me though, so if I hear of a great similar product that is cheaper I might give it a go to compare the results...

I’m African-American And I had some hyper pigmentation and some dark marks,This cream had really good reviews so I bought it but it has absolutely did nothing to lighten,I’ve been using this for a little over a month now,save your money,It is a good moisturizer but sometime after using it I noticed that I was getting these little small bumbs on my check and I believe they were whiteheads which i never had before

Love it!! None of my face creams were making my skin look and feel the way I wanted it to. After a couple of weeks of using this I noticed such a big difference in my skin! Definitely a staple for me now!! My skin looks flawless with no makeup at all on ! At my age that makes me pretty happy!!

I had brown spots on my face due to acne and sun and you notice a difference after 1 week of using this product. It is very light if you acne prone skin , not a heavy.

Wonderful light moisturizer, perfect for summer time. I can not agree with other customers that this cream is not suitable for sensitive skin. I have the most sensitive skin one can imagine. My skin easily breaks out, if a products is scented, or has the wrong incredients. I am using different Shiseido products for 30 years now, and I want to emphasize that I N E V E R had any reaction to one of their creams! They are not fragranced and they glide on like butter and leave skin the best it ever looked. Highly recommend!
After only 3 days of using it I could already tell my skin was a light brighter and the make up applied much smoother. It smells and feels amazing too!
i bought it along with the face wash and spot correct from the same company. It got rid of my scars i had from acne.love it.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN!!!I will definitely return this one. I often enjoy using Shiseido products and have never had any issues until now. I just started using so I can’t tell anything about whether or not it will brighten the skin. Yet, this so called “gel cream” doesn’t even moisturize. It also irritates my skin right after I apply it. My skin is sensitive but I have never had this “burning” feeling on my face with other good brand creams. When I look into the mirror, my face is red and a little swollen. Definitely not worth $70.

I liked how it looked and felt on my skin. Nice glow without looking greasy, however it was not moisturizing enough for mu dry skin. At the end of the day my chin would be flakey.

« Not great, not worth the price »
I don’t usually write reviews (think this might be the first one I’ve ever written on Sephora), but I wanted to pass along a PSA after purchasing (for the record I did use the whole jar and finished all the product):The smell is overwhelming for me. It smells like a strong perfume smell, which is unpleasant and doesn’t seem like it would be a good thing for those with sensitive skin (myself included). As far as the effectiveness of the product, I suppose it did (marginally) brighten up my skin after each morning application, but any possible brightening effect seemed only superficial/cosmetic and didn’t seem to make any lasting results. Needless to say, I did not repurchase. I am now using Caudalie Vinoperfect Niacinimide brightening moisturizer, and I like that a lot better (no strong, artificial smell, feels better on my dry, sensitive skin, and I definitely notice lasting results after only a few weeks of use).

I got this product as recommended by a sephora employee few months back. Afterusing it everynight for about two months, i noticed no differences which is why it has been sitting on my shelf since then. The product is super sticky and does not even moisturize the skin! I payed a huge deal of money for this product and i regret my purchase!

I bought this as I loved the reviews but it didn’t do anything special to my skin. My skin looked the same as it did when I use a $10 face cream. I felt I just paid more to do nothing extra. Disappointed at the waste of money.
