I tried this at a department store when the Shiseido was giving facials. With one use my face looked clearer so I bought the pack (yes, they’re expensive and I felt ridiculous but I don’t regret it). I have used one masque a week and after using the 6-masque pack my face is brighter and more radiant. I just bought another box of these. They are moisturizing but can leave a thick feeling once you’re done (I run a damp towel *lightly* over my face after I have let it throroughly soak in to get rid of the slightly thick feeling it leaves behind).

This mask brightens my complexion. It has not made my hyperpigmentation dissapear, but it does make it look lighter. So my complexion looks more even after I use it. It gives you a luminous glow. I have repurchased this many times, and have added it to beauty gift bags for my friends and family.I like to prep my skin before I use this mask, by cleansing thoroughly and exfoliating beforehand; I want fresh skin exposed to reap in all the goodness of the mask. I splash on an essence and or a toner to ensure it is prepped to absorb the serum even more. I then use this mask. It’s not a cheap mask so I like to make sure my skin is really going to be able to drink in all the benefits.I think the mask fits well. It’s not too thin, but not too thick. I wear the mask for the suggested time, sometimes a bit longer. But I don’t let the mask ever get too dry before I peel it off. I also squeeze out the serum from the mask and pat it all over my face, neck, and decolletage. There is a lot of serum in the package, enough for me to keep using it morning and night for days. If you have a massaging tool or a masking tool that adds heat, cool, led and or vibrating settings then I suggest using it with this mask:)

Love the cloth mask - this one is thick and soft and stretches perfectly on the face, staying put for me anyway from 20-30 minutes. There is so much solution in the packet, I use it twice... Little more bang for your buck.

Thought I would tried it out because of all the rave reviews. I have brown skin (Indian) with old acne marks so could uses a bit of brightening. I have to say it was not miraculous in any way although I think I do see some temporary brightening and light fading of some spots with regular use. Will have to think about a re-purchase given its cost. Of note the mask is overly saturated in serum - I do re-seal it in the pouch and then a zip lock bag and its stays saturated for 2 more 10min sessions which is really nice.

I saw the review of this mask in Japan is very good. One of the best rated masks of all time. So I tried. In each mask, there is a lot of essential lotion in it, feel clear and moisturized after one use. I always prefer paper mask than cream ones, I feel the paper ones gives instant result.

I have very delicate skin, and most beauty products of this type cause instant irritation and rashes. I was so pleased to find that not only did my skin not react negatively, but it was very soft and smooth. I kept the mask on for 20 minutes, and it felt cool and refreshing. I took the little drops of serum that dripped out and massaged it into my neck. Everyone should try this!

« HOLY GRAIL MASK »

This is my absolute favorite sheet mask. Will it completely fade dark spots? No. What it WILL do is give you a smooth, porcelain complexion. I never trust claims of “next day“ results, but with these masks you can actually see a difference the next day! My skin looks so hydrated, plump, and smooth after I use this mask. They’re quite pricey, so I use them once a week. Seriously, I can’t say how much I love these. They’re worth every penny.

« Instantly Brightened My Skin »

So this is my first review ever but I had to do it because of how much I loved these masks. I’ve gone through the whole pack of 6 masks and just ordered my next set. This mask instantly brightened my skin when I removed it from my face and made it super super soft. However, I leave it on for more than the recommended time (around 30 min). I know my skin isn’t that sensitive so I can do that. I also reuse the same mask twice because of all the product left in the sachet but not more than twice. Again, not recommended but I still do it because of the price! And because of the price I gave the masks 4 stars.

I have tried many brightening masks, serums, moisturizers, etc. I don’t expect a miracle product to correct my acne scars overnight but this came surprisingly close! I used it at night after I toned and applied my ultimune concentrate, left on for about 20 minutes or more, took it off and rubbed in the extra. I didn’t use a moisturizer after because i found the mask super hydrating. Anyways, I could not believe the results when I woke up, I have never found a product that worked so soon! My face was bright, clear and my scars had lightened up quite a bit. I really recommend using it with the ultimune concentrate it works 100% better than without it. Hope this helps!

The best thing that has ever touched my face! I wish I didn’t love this as much as I do because of the high price point but I find that if you use it once you can fold it back up and put it back inside and use it again because there is extra serum. I have acne prone skin with a lot of acne scarring and I find that the day after I use this mask I wake up and it is literally the best my skin has never looked every single time. If I could afford it I would use this every single day!

I am a major fan of Asian Skin Care products because they bring results. This mask is definitely superior to the other lower end masks such as The Face Shop and My Diary face masks. The low end masks are usually made of paper but this mask is made of cloth and it has plenty of serum in there. This mask definitely brightened up my skin and fade away acne scars. It’s expensive but worth it. This also moisturized my skin without breaking out. I have acne prone skin and this does not clog my pores. If you want an even more effective mask, try the SK-II. I compared these two masks in my video showing before and after results and the SK-II made my skin more brighter. Check it out if you are interested.This is how I use it: I keep the masks in the refrigerator so that when I use it on my face the cooling sensation reduces puffiness. I usually sleep with the mask on and I wake up with glowing skin. Also save the extra serum. Use it on your neck, or use on your face the next day.

Oh my how I wish this product works for me! Maybe only Asian girls can understand the desire to have lighter toned skin! We want to be white, we want to have that glass skin look. I have tried SK II, I’ve tried lamer, and this...haven’t seen any visible result..

« A treat for your face »

I am a mask fanatic… I have masks for every purpose (clearing pores, exfoliating, moisturizing, brightening, etc) and I give myself a facial at least once, usually twice a week. This mask by Shiseido is a real treat to use, especially this time of year because (1) I have a few extra sun spots and a couple post-acne marks resulting from summer sweat-induced breakouts (I don’t have a lot of them, but I’m fair-skinned and any little zit leaves a pigmented mark behind for a while) and (2) the air is getting drier and the heat is coming on in the house, which dries out my skin a little more. This mask really works for both of these issues. I find that with regular use it really does get rid of any dark spots I might have, and it provides my skin with a long, cool drink of moisture… which makes fine lines much less noticeable. My skin definitely looks brighter and refreshed after this mask.Just a couple tips for using it… I personally find the mask itself a little big for my little face, but it still works just fine. However, if this also happens to you, I recommend just taking the 10-15 minutes recommended on the package and lying down. While the mask WILL stick to your face if you get up and walk around, it is a little bit annoying when it’s too big because it likes to get too close to your eyes and/or up your nose when you walk. If you lie down, it won’t bother you as much, AND you get a little rest out of the deal. Also, the mask is very wet, and there will be extra serum in the packet after you use the mask - DON’T throw that away! It’s good stuff. I usually rub it into my neck and chest area to absorb while I am wearing the mask, but you can also save it and use it as a serum during your next facial cleansing/moisturizing session for extra brightening.

Moisturing but not oily. Not drying after. Very nice smell. Skin is soft after. The next morning I saw subtle brightness and glow.Keep it for 20 minutes instead of the 10 mins in the instructions for better results.

I am obsessed with these masks...I have used SK III masks for years but this masks hydrates, softens and does everything it is supposed to. I alternate this mask with the Shiseido Benefiance retinal masks and my skin has never looked so good. You need this!
