I love to use this in the daytime right after my vitamin c serum. So far I am really enjoying the light consistency and feel of it on my face. I have also noticed a difference in my redness and acne blemishes with consistent use. It does not pill under my sunscreen which is a bonus. This moisturizer is also fragrance free, oil free, and noncomedogenic which is something I am always looking out for when I try new products. This is safe to use especially if you have normal to dry sensitive skin and get easily irritated. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to try a new moisturizer with skin benefits :)

This really does seem to have instant results ! I’m brand new to skin care & watched some YouTube videos and saw the regular formula advertised and wanted to try it . I heard mixed things about the gel formula so I was hesitant to get it but I do have combo skin so thought I might be better offer with the gel formula . I have really sensitive skin and this doesn’t burn my skin at all! It’s only been 2 days and I see a noticeable difference! It’s a slight difference but I didn’t expect ti see any progress in just 2 days ! I’m blown away ! No filter on the after pic I swear !

« RIPOFF BEWARE »

Bought this product because the reviews were really good. I used it as a nighttime moisturizer and it was decent but the packaging was a little weird. I ran out in a month which is super unusual for moisturizer and for how little I used. Then I opened up the container and found that you actually get 1/4 of what it looks like you get. Never buying from this company again. This is an absolutely DISGUSTING ripoff for the price of $62 and is smaller than my actual travel size products.

This made me breakout in whiteheads- in places that I don’t typically breakout! Also, the funny thing is that it’s not even moisturizing; it’s very dry and feels like silicone. I did not, however, notice any scent.

« Terrible scent »

I was glad to see a few others mention the scent of this product because I thought I was going crazy given how many positive reviews there are. Despite being fragrance-free, it has such a mildewy smell to me when I apply/as it dries down. Thankfully it’s not noticeable beyond that or after I apply makeup, but it’s enough to make me look for a different product once this is out. Otherwise, it has a really nice lightweight texture and I like the packaging.

Didn’t work for my skin at all. Within two days of use in the morning & at night, my skin was uncomfortably dry everywhere especially around my chin and mouth. Worst of all, I had 15+ tiny whiteheads all over my chin and forehead and this was the only new product I used so I can attribute the breakouts we’re likely from this, either an ingredient in it or just my skin trying to overcompensate for dryness but producing sebum which clogged my pores.

Not worth it in my opinion, as soon as I put it on, my hands and face were extremely dry within a span of 5 minutes after application. I think I will stick to my drugstore cream.

« Not worth it »

I never review products but this one I had to comment on. If you have dry skin please skip this. I had to reapply this gel so many times during the day because I would notice my skin becoming extremely dry. After I put on this gel, I notice a glow in my skin and notice that my skin feels moisturized that’s why I gave it 2 stars… but that only lasts about 5 min. For the price of this product, I expected way more than this. I will be going back to the original formula which suited me better. This was a COMPLETE miss for me.

« Great Moisturizer!! »

I use tretinoin at night along with Skinfix barrier cream and in the morning I use clyndamicin/benzoyl peroxide gel along with this gel moisturizer and it works wonders. My skin was very dry, peeling and irritated from my actives and no moisturizer was helping my skin until I started using skinfix barrier cream and gel moisturizer. Another problem I had with other moisturizers is that they would pill with my actives but not these two. I’m really happy I decided to give skinfix a try. I read some reviews that that this moisturizer feels heavy, I would say that if you have a barrier of dead skin cells your moisturizer gel or cream will feel heavy. I used to hate moisturizer for this same reason until I began using liquid exoliants (there are very gentle ones for those with sensitive skin) and hydrating my skin really good both inside and out. Hope this helps.

First of all- The packaging component is so frustrating and stupid- it’s hard to tell when you’re running out or if you have really used all of the product. I wish it was just in a tube or a jar. I’ve repurchased several times (and it’s expensive) but I hate this component so much that I don’t think I will anymore. The product formula itself is great. Really good for hydrating oily skin when it’s feeling sensitive or after a treatment.

« RUN DON’T WALK »

I’ve literally spent so much money trying so many different moisturizers from high-end to drugstore and everything has always made me break out or clogged my pores. Like literally everything! I was ready to give up and just say forget it with moisturizer because I couldn’t find anything to work for me. The sweetest employee at Sephora in Peterborough (Canada), was telling me about her skin troubles and was so understanding with mine. She recommended this product and I decided I had nothing to lose. I’m literally so thankful I gave this a chance. My skin is glowing and no breakouts. This doesn’t make me oily or cause any irritation. I wish I remembered this employee’s name because seriously, she was so kind and helpful. I won’t use any other brands of skincare other than skinfix now because I truly trust this brand. If you suffer from sensitive/acne prone skin, please try this! It’s truly a game changer and I will never use anything else. Skinfix is in my opinion, worth every single penny. I will continue to use their other products as well. Hope this helps anyone struggling with their skin! Xx

« Perfect Gel Cream Texture! »

The perfect, light-yet-moisturizing feeling from a moisturizer! It’s a little more moisturizing than the other gel cream moisturizers you find at Sephora, but not in a bad way at all! It gives your skin the perfect amount of moisture and it sits well under makeup and SPF. It does not pill. Definitely recommend anyone who wants more moisture than a gel, but not greasy or heavy feeling like a cream. Fragrance free too.

I’ve been on the lookout for months for an every day moisturizer for my oily/combo sensitive skin. My routine sometimes consists of lactic acid and chemical pads so I need a moisturizer that soothes and feels nourishing for my skin.
