Clarifying AHA + BHA Mask

Received a deluxe sample of this mask, but will be buying the full size. I have been struggling with hormonal acne and under-the-skin bumps for several years. Recently my forehead just became a texture war zone/complete nightmare and so I’ve been testing out various AHA/BHA products. This mask made a complete, noticeable difference overnight. I almost can’t believe it. I went from having probably about 15 little bumps on my forehead to 2 tiny ones in one night. It feels like magic. The smell is strange, but not off-putting. Doesn’t make a difference to me because the results are truly life-changing. Must try for texture issues/acne/redness!

I use baby facial but I think this facial identifies my acne so much better than baby facial. Don’t get me wrong, baby facial is an excellent face mask that gets rid of dead skin but this tata clarifying mask focuses on my skin issues on a deeper level. I can definitely see myself using this long term where as baby facial is more instant and short term. I’ve been using the clarifying mask to heal and reduce my acne along my jawline (hormonal) and so far (day three) it has reduced my acne so much!!

« Smells weird but great results »

Not gonna lie, this stuff smells pretty gross. I told myself I was never going to use it again because of how put off I was by the smell. However, after the exfoliation and rinsing it off, I saw that my skin was visibly clearer, all the redness had gone away, my acne reduced significantly, and it had lightened my hyperpigmentation. Definitely going to continue to use this! (And maybe just hold my nose)

I have oily and acne prone skin. This mask is amazing! I could tell a difference after just the first time using it. The texture of my face was smoother and pores were smaller. The acne I had either subsided or came to the surface, making it faster to heal. I’ve used this mask a few times and will definitely repurchase.

I completely love this mask; I have oily, adult acne prone skin. As I have gotten older my pore have gotten wider and wider especially around my nose area. This mask doesn’t completely close them but it does minimize the appearance. My skin was baby soft and it cut back on the oil by 90%. I think if I use it 2-3 times a week as directed this will be the only product I’ve tried in years that has some real control oil my oily skin. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons; the amount you get for the price is bananas and the smell is not so appealing. I can’t describe the smell; it’s pine and it’s not medicinal either; but it’s not unbearable. Overall I tried the trial size and ended up buying the large size.

Finally I found a mask that keeps my face smooth, clear, and glowy. I’ve tried The May Lindstrom The Problem Solver Mask, I used the whole jar but my face didn’t clear up. With This Clarifying Mask I’ve noticed a big difference after almost using up the jar, my face feels hydrated and smooth and with no breakouts. Definitely I’m going to repurchase this it’s my favorite mask.

« OMG- Wowzers!!! »

So Tata hit it right on the head (no pun intended). Not only does this mask work, but the experience from start to finish hits on all the things that I want in a mask. 1.) color is awesomesauce, it’s like I’m back in an 80’s Molly Ringwald movie finally getting the green mask I always desired. 2.) The fragrance is awesome, I feel like I’m in a spa and its not too over-powering. 3.) You FEEL it! My skin is desensitized and its very hard for m to find a product I feel working, I love the tingle it produces. 4.) Exfoliation!!! Anyone who has ever had acne knows that exfoliation of the edges and dry skin that other products cause is a must to give you that smooth surface. 5.) Easy wash off 6.) hydrating not drying.... I’m sure there is much more, but I just can’t be more excited about this new product!!!! Kudos to Tata for knowing what I want and need in a mask xoxo

« The BEST and I’ve tried them all (literally) »

This is hands down the best mask for textured/combo/oily skin. I worked at Sephora for 5 years and I’ve tried them ALL... THIS is the absolute best one. It’s a physical and chemical exfoliation similar to the PTR one, but it leaves the skin so much smoother for so much longer. It doesn’t dry out your skin either which is some crazy weird science they managed to pull! Put it on damp(ish), clean skin, leave on 10-15 minutes, wet hands and massage the goodness in and rinse off. I see people mention the smell, and I guess I kind of like it! They use no artificial fragrances or anything to neutralize the product, so it just smells what it smells like! Ha Anyway- after working here, there are so many products I would never waste my money on. But this is one I’ll buy forever.

Yes this mask is expensive, but it’s expensive for a reason! A little really does go a long way and you can feel it working on your acne, I get hormonal acne and get large pimples overnight, and using this mask for the 20 minutes you can feel it work on those tough spots. And I’m not sure why people are complaining about the smell it smells like aromatherapy and is very relaxing! Highly worth it since a little goes a long way and you can just use it on spots you need it to make it last even longer rather than your whole face

Apply Mask Wait x amount of time. Wet hand and massage into skin Once the mask is washed off skin, enjoy the benefits! It smells so fresh like mint and eucalyptus! The gritty quartz buffs away while you massage it in, and when you dry your face it feels amazing! I got a sample from my Sephora store on recommendation from someone there, and I believe I will be purchasing this mask to add to my regimen!

« Did not work for me. »

I’m happy to hear that others have had a great experience with this mask, however, it didn’t work for me at all.I have normal to oily skin in the summer, acne free and I’ve used AHA products and chemical exfoliating masks/treatments for years - so, my skin isn’t generally sensitive. The consistency is nice and creamy & spread very nicely. I did a nice thick layer as suggested and found I could only wait 10 min (it was making my face feel irritated) before adding water and gently massaging to “activate“ the quartz sand (I wanted to follow the directions to a T to really test it). I had not done any other treatments that would make my skin sensitive. I was super surprised that this left red marks on my face and was so irritating. It also left my skin feeling dried out and itchy. And yes, the smell is not pleasant.It’s unfortunate that this mask did not work for me and I recommend trying a sample first before purchasing as the fruit acids are strong & potentially irritating.

Totally worth the cost!!!! I always had blackheads since I was a teenager and for the first time in my life, they are gone thanks to this product. Best mask I have ever used! Does not aggrevate my rosacea and is gentle. Does not dry my skin out. Very natural smell, kind of like some of the products at high end Spas. Loving it!!!!!

This mask is wonderful. The willow bark makes it feel cool and tingly on the skin and it brightened me up quite a bit. If you’re into smells go buy a perfume cuz masks are not here to please your nose, they’re here to work. And this one sure does!

« A necessity for sensitive, acne-prone skin. »

I’m only deducting a point because 68 bucks for 1 oz is a bit of an eyeroll, but this is truly an incredible mask. If you’re having a breakout, you can expect to see an immediate difference in the size of pimples and the redness of your skin. It’s exfoliating and refreshing, but it is also super conditioning and non-irritating. Honey as the first ingredient is incredible. I know it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I LOVE the smell. It’s herbaceous and minty and earthy and I’m into that kind of scent. If you are both sensitive and acne prone, this is well worth the price (even if I’m still a little bitter about it).

I received a sample of this a few weeks ago, but just used it tonight . The sample didn’t have much in it , so I put it on my forehead because it broke out so bad recently and I’m not sure why because I don’t ever break out thisbad . I applied a thick layer and left it on for 20 mins .. washed off with warm water and I was shocked!!! I tried so many other products and exfoliating gels and none gave me these results !! The top picture was literally last night and the bottom picture I just took after I dried my face off!! I hope I don’t regret posting this tommorrow morning , but so far , I love it !
