*Expired Product*. The product I received was dry, hard and peeled/flaked when trying to rub onto the skin (nothing stayed on). It had a thick, dried play-dough consistency. I was under the impression this is the product and I just didn’t like it. I could not return b/c used (new policy).. so I just took the loss. BUT I was recently made aware that you can see when your bottle was constructed! My bottle was handcrafted on December 5, 2017. Tata Harper’s products are good for 18 months after batch date, making my mask expired in June 2019! I bought Feb 2020. I reached out and Sephora did nothing about selling an expired product. I hope this is helpful to someone and you: 1. either buy direct from Tata Harper or 2. Look immediately at the 4 digit code on the bottom of the bottle and plug it in to Tata Harper’s website to see when it was handcrafted! After reaching out to Sephora they won’t do anything (and repeated they wouldn’t many times over..I feel jaded, I spend too much money here) - so I still have to take the loss, but you don’t have to! Maybe the product is good and would do what it promises...if it wasn’t expired!

The item arrived mid-May 2020 and it was a bit dried out when I opened it. I wrote to customer service and have not heard back yet. I did not check the reviews before purchasing because I’ve used this product before but now I see this is an issue that has been happening A LOT. I looked into the batch number (Tata Harper’s official site has a section that makes it easy for you to track) and the bottle sent to me was produced Dec 4, 2017. It’s near the end of it’s shelf life and from the reviews I’m assuming the bottle I have may have been returned and resold before since this item does not have a seal. I’ve learned my lesson now. I will always check the batch number before putting anything on my face.

I purchased this mask because I have combination to oily skin that has large pores and sometimes get little pimples, especially when I expose my skin to new environments. Since I already use the Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser, I decided to get this mask and try it out and so glad I did! I used it today for the first time around 10am EDT because I had a little breakout happening on my chin and put a thicker layer on, more than I usually would with my other favorite masks. I left it on for an hour actually instead of 30 minutes and I feel that helped out. After I removed the mask, I promise you the surface bumps (pustules and comedones) were smoothed out, not irritated, but almost healed. If I use this mask in two days or so, I can guarantee I will have clear skin! I love this mask, it really does what it says it does! It’s been 4 hours since the mask and I swear I am not oily at the least. Within 4 hours after I’ve cleansed my skin in the morning, I should be an oily slick right now, but I really believe this mask helped my oily skin. That’s the reason why I’m writing this review on the day I used this mask. It’s truly amazing for a mask!

This mask was recommended to me by an associate at Sephora, and I went out an purchased it after a week of trying it at home. IT WAS AMAZING! I used it in combination with the FAB Radiance Peel pads on an area of my face that is prone to break outs. I applied the mask as a spot treatment, in a very thin layer, for about 20 minutes. I then washed it off, moisturized, and went to bed. When I woke up, any pimples were GONE and the area looked so bright and smooth. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!

This mask is the HOLY GRAIL. I’ve tried everything from Bliss to Dr. Brandt to drugstore brand masks, and I’ve never ever noticed a major difference in my skin. I only ever saw results from professional spa facials. I typically have pretty good skin - combination, sensitive to dairy and toxins, prone to breakouts on the chin only. But lately, my skin has been awful, dull and dry with acne all over my chin (thanks wedding stress, travel, hormones) - and I ordered this mask on a whim. IT IS AMAZING. It’s truly a professional facial in a jar - and all natural. I left it on for 15 minutes before bed, and IMMEDIATELY my skin was brighter and clearer. My blemishes had reduced and were not as red, and my skin felt super clean but soft and hydrated, not tight or irritated. The next day, my skin still looked great and when I washed my face in the morning, I could feel the hydration. This mask is seriously worth the money. And, the best part is it’s all natural - the ginger smells and feels amazing! I’m a mask convert and will keep a jar in my home bathroom as well as my suitcase, and I’m now ordering other Tata Harper products. BUY IT!

I am a mask junkie. That being said I am very picky about what I put on my face. I use Tata Harper for my skin care so when this mask came out I jumped at the chance to try it. And let me tell you it is amazing. The texture is a mousse- cool to the touch and feels very luxurious when put on. I use this mask whenever I feel my skin needs a little TLC.

Just have to agree with some other people that for the price it is a very small amount. That being said, it works miracles. I have acne prone skin and are constantly exposed to pollution (city life) and have not broken out since using this 2a week. Worth the splurge!!!

By far one of my favorite beauty products. It deep cleans and leaves you with a radiant glow. Best part is it works immediately and is hydrating!

« Mask was dry before I even opened it »

I LOVE tata harper products, to my surprise when I received this mask and opened it didn’t seem fresh at all, in fact it looked like it had dried up. I don’t know if this is the company’s fault or the suppliers, anyway it is very expensive and should arrive in perfect conditions.

Hated this product! Would not even go over my face smoothly and most of it fell off my face? $72 for this?! Really disappointed

I ordered this product for the first time, I was excited to use it, but when I opened the bottle it look half empty. I assumed maybe it was the ingredients but when I put it on my face it just kept on coming off with my fingertips. I don’t recommend it.

I bought this product in Miami Beach, Lincoln road, during my holidays. When I finally got home, I opened it and was really dissapointed to find out that the product was full of mold and dried out. Really disgusting!

It’s a great mask & it leaves your skin feeling great after you use it. Of course this isn’t a face-lift in a tub but it’s a great product & if your expectations are reasonable, you should be more than happy with this product. Have a great day & be beautiful.

« The only clay mask that doesn't dry out my skin »

I was skeptical when I first ordered this, because basically every “cleansing“ mask, especially those made with clay, leaves my skin very dry and tight. I only wanted to give this a try because of the vib sale, and thought it was very small amount for the price when I first opened it, ready to return it the next day. But I have to say I love it!!!! It’s surprisingly not drying at all, has a nice natural smell, and leaves my skin clean and soft. Not to mention it’s all natural. I still wish it’s less expensive, but its a keeper!
