I am a HUGE sheet mask fan and have used numerous masks. This is one of my absolute favorites! It is marketed towards dry skin but I have learned that my oily skin is really just dehydrated underneath. I feel like it hydrates several layers into my skin.I save these masks for special date nights or events. The visible effects, for me at least, last for up to 2 days. I have used almost every sheet mask there is from high-end to drugstore and for my skin type this is an absolute winner. I like this mask more than the SK-II mask, Cle de Peau, and Shiseido masks.

Let’s try this again as I posted a review on this sheet mask last week, only to find it was not approved by Sephora. As such, I’ll aim to abstain from promoting another site where you can purchase Tatcha and get a better deal and stick to the review of this excellent sheet mask from Tatcha. I loved this sheet mask so much, based on using it only once (and leaving it on my skin for over an hour rather than the instruction’s recommended/suggested 15-20 minutes), and oh my gosh, my skin was superbly hydrated, supple, and radiant for the next 36 hours. I ended up scooping these babies up as sold in a package of multiples because I just love it when I see instant, overnight results from skincare products. I mean, I’m pretty good and disciplined about using my retinol serum on a regular basis and have enough patience to give it 2-3 months before I see how effective it is in treating my skin and preventing the wrinkling process. With that said, as I’ve already stated, it is such a lovely surprise and gift when a product like this comes my way and gives me this boost of moisture and hydration and my skin glows after I’ve used it. My skin was literally glowing the day after I used this mask! So, I guess I’ve waxed poetic on this sheet mask from Tatcha. I trust the brand and believe it’s worth the splurge for gals (and gents) like me who really put in time and care into their skincare routine. If it means forgoing some take-out lunches or dinners each month so that I can budget some of these masks into my skincare regime, so be it.

I adore sheet masks, and this one is one of the best. It really noticeably plumps, hydrates, tightens and brightens the skin when you use it. Also, the texture of the mask is like a jellyish sheet so it’s very comfortable and cooling to wear and doesn’t flop all over the place like some other sheet masks. The beautifying effects last about a day and a half for me. I think if you used it more often (like once a week or so) it would have better cumulative effects, but it’s really shines as a big day/big night refresher to make your skin look amazing.Personally, for this price range of mask, I prefer the La Mer The Hydrating Facial Mask (though that’s almost 2x the price/mask), but I use that one overnight (8hrs ish) roughly once a month as sort of a deep conditioning treatment for my skin. But I prefer the Tatcha one to the La Mer The Brightening Facial, and the SKII The Facial Treatment Mask (though quite frankly, I thought the SKII was a waste). The other hydrating masks I enjoy most are My Scheming Diary 7-in-1 Brightening Mask and their Rose Dew Moisturizing Mask as well as the Naruko Job’s Tears, but those don’t make the skin look as amazing for a full day and a half.

Best sheet mask I have ever used!!!!! My skin looked amazing after I took it off. The mask stayed in place and I was able to move around. And the end result was soft, glowing, radiant skin.

I use this mask as often as I can justify. Then I put the rest of the juice on my face for like 3 days after. Makes you look like a frickin goddess

« A worthy splurge »

These masks are a splurge, but they’re amazing. And there is so much extra serum, that I always squeeze it out into a small jar and use it as serum for the next 2 weeks. For a big night out, I exfoliate before applying the mask. Then I can relax, or do my hair while the mask sits. This mask is a higher quality then some of the less expensive ones, so you can actually walk around and do things without having to worry about the mask slipping down and having to readjust. I normally leave it on longer then suggested. When I remove the mask, my skin is always so soft and glowing, and I swear my face actually looks plumped up and lifted. I don’t have any eye bags, but I do have a bit of hollowing under my eyes, and it seems more plumped up afterwards. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, or break me out, as the SKII essence one has done before. And makeup always goes on so much smoother and nicer after I’ve used this mask. It’s not cheap, but it’s certainly less expensive then going for a facial, and if you can grab it during the Rouge sale, you can save money.

I’ve always had the hardest time justifying the use of this mask, but no more! I use it only when nothing else works (it IS $20 a pop). It’s a guaranteed success. It staves off sunburns when I’ve spent 10 hours in hundred degree heat with no sunscreen reapplication (including minor burns on my body) and, these last two weeks, my skin has been an absolute disaster as a result of six flights in that span of time. Itchy, dry bumps all along my jawline like clockwork, every 3 or so days (my skin hasn’t been this unhappy since I completely revamped my skincare routine a good 2 years ago). The ONLY thing that will make the bumps go away (and I tried a good 5 other masks first) are the Tatcha sheet masks, which clear up my skin for at least a week through 2 flights and multiple climate changes.

« Very disappointed! »

I wish I can like them. But they are so disappointing. The material of the mask is very easy to dry up, and it’s hard to absorb. The liquid in the package which is supposed to be hydrating, is very thin like water, after placing the sheet mask on my face, and apply all the juice from the package, it can’t even last longer than a $6 primera lotus sheet mask. Even the $12 dewy skin mask from its own brand works better than this one. I don’t understand how others love it so much. I got this after reading some of the comments, and also because of the high price, figured it should be a good mask. Guess high price doesn’t always mean it’s good quality. So disappointed. Also the mask doesn’t have a good smell to it, smells like chemicals.

Well. Disappointed. Pricy. And that’s okay if it works some magic. It felt lovely on, and very cooling. But afterwards, the cooling effect continues but my face feels very tight and is reddened slightly even after applying the water cream and waiting another ten minutes. I’m about to add some oil to hopefully stop this tight feeling. Contains alcohol, so that is the likely culprit. Others mention having extra serum to apply still for days but mine has nothing at all left in the pouch. There wasn’t enough left after removing the mask to apply down my neck. This falls flat for me ... I’m glad I got a single mask via tatcha direct instead of this multi pack.

« The best mask I have ever used »

I have tried A LOT of masks. I first used this mask the night before my engagement party but was getting a facial regularly so although I saw a difference I wasn’t sure what it was from. HOWEVER I tried this mask AGAIN months later and holy moly this is the best mask I have EVER USED. It’s a little weird to put on (tatcha plz fix) but honey this WORKS. It’s cooling, fragrance free, tightening and takes years off your face. I haven’t found there is a ton of extra serum but whatever is extra I pat on after I take the mask off.

I’ve used just about every sheet mask out there. I feel like i have a normal sized face and have never had issues with masks not fitting correctly. This mask fit oddly and didn’t cover areas around my eyes and nose. It was on the thicker side and didn’t stick to my face as well as most. Didn’t see any difference at all. Definitely not worth the price!!! The $5 ones work way better. I wouldn’t recommend these.

I wish I didn’t love this because it is quite spendy, but it’s also awesome. Makes my skin gorgeous! I use the remaining serum left in the pouch for days after I use the mask. If I was a rich girl I’d use this mask daily. Although I love SKII facial treatment essence, this Tacha mask is far superior to the SKII facial treatment mask.

I have extremely dry skin. Tatcha is the only brand I have used that can make my face go from dry and rough to soft and silky. I love these masks!! I couldn’t live without my weekly tatcha mask. If you have dry skin and nothing else has worked, then I promise these will.

I like having this in my lineup to add variety from my la mer, SK11, and tatcha luminous glowing sheet masks. I prefer this one over the luminous glowing one now bc that one doesn’t give me as much of a glow as it use to. I still like my SK11 treatment mask the most but I like giving my face a variety. I’m on the hunt for other great sheet masks to add to my lineup.

« Did noting -- not worth it »

I swear by the SKII masks, and did them weekly before my wedding. I got this one hoping to have even better results and repair my deep dehydration. A few days prior to Christmas, I applied just as the mask said. Followed directions. I was cool feeling, but it didn’t penetrate at all and pilled up on my skin. My texture got worse...I had “orange-peel“ skin for the first time in my life.I would say save your money and get the SKII masks. Save a few bucks and get much better results!
