I received this product from Influenster and Shiseido in exchange for my honest review. The scrub isn’t too harsh on the skin and is great for sensitive skin. I didn’t notice a huge difference in my pores but the rest of my skin felt very smooth after using the mask.

I’m going to start off with saying I usually HATE face masks. They don’t typically work and they typically do more damage than good to my face. HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised when trying this product. Again, I was hesitant, but it didn’t burn my face and it made my face feel so soft afterwards. I love this as a nice boost to my routine. I don’t use it everyday but it’s a staple in my collection forsure.

A purifying mineral clay mask that offers gentle exfoliation. It’s not a harsh exfoliating mask, it’s rather gentle but does an excellent job at clearing out congested pores and blackheads. I haven’t experienced any tingling or irritation with this product. My skin is left feeling smooth

I love using this mask when I wear makeup on very long days. It keeps my skin from breaking out (I have acne prone skin) I use it once a week. It doesn’t irritate my skin and feels extremely nice on the skin.

I can easily say this is my favorite face mask ever. My skin feels and looks so smooth after using this. I’m definitely impressed and recommend 100%. Perfect for a self care day and actually works! Wow

I really liked how exfoliating this was while being gentle with my sensitive skin. I’ve been needing a physical exfoliator and this one was really quick and simple and doubled as a mud mask.

I loved this mask! I definitely enjoyed using it as a staple in my skincare routine. It left my skin feeling soft and glowing. I also definitely saw an overall improvement in skin as well.

« Pros and cons of my personal preference »

I don’t find myself reaching for this scrub mask as much as others but it isn’t bad and I’ll explain my pros and cons for it. I love that this mask only needs 5 minutes to sit so it works quickly. The texture is nice and creamy and the scent is also light. I love that it targets blackheads because blackheads are one of my biggest skin problems and they are emphasized if my skin isn’t freshly washed. This does a very good job at cleaning all of the oil and dirt out and leaving my skin looking refreshed. The reason why I don’t reach for this as much is because once I use it it does leave a cast of what feels like almost silicone on my skin and makes it feels as if I had not washed it off correctly. I am a texture person and I really don’t like putting stuff on my face because it makes me feel uncomfortable but of course I will do it to clean my skin however I would like for that feeling to leave once I have washed my face clean with water. It may be OK for others but for people who also have the same issue with hating the feeling of stuff being put on your face then this might not be the one for you. Other than that, this is a good product and well worth the money.

I was a bit uncertain about this product at first because I was worried it would be harsh, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! It was so gentle and soft on my face and left my skin feeling baby soft. I’ve always been a fan of clay masks because I love the smell and the earthy feel but some of them are a bit too harsh and cause tingling. This one didn’t. It felt like it cleared out my pores wonderfully and did a gentle, calm exfoliation even after just one use. I used it between once and twice a week and saw really great results within a month. It went really well with their new Waso moisturizer too!My favorite thing about this product is how clean and fresh it leaves your face feeling after each use. It really just feels like a normal, natural part of my routine already even though I haven’t used it for that long. A new staple for sure!

This mask works wonders on my acne. I have dry skin, so I like to only use it a couple times a week, but whenever I do I notice my black/whiteheads become less inflamed and go away faster than if I leave them be. Its also a nice gentle exfoliate, which helps scrub away my dry bits. That being said, given it’s a clay based mask I notice I do dry out more after use, but that can be easily rectified with my serums and moisturizer. It has practically no fragrance so sensitive skin users shouldn’t have to worry about any adverse reaction on that front. I also like how this mask only takes five minutes to set. I don’t have much free time, so masking was usually my ’treat myself’ weekend occasion. With this mask I can easily do it before bed, or in the shower in the morning. Bottom line, I’d absolutely recommend this product.

It felt cooling and refreshing while on my skin and, afterwards, I love how it made my skin look clear, bright, and glowy. It’s a quick, 5 minute mask that you can do while in the shower. I also liked the scent and how minimal it is. The packaging is more eco friendly with the outer cap being made of 30% upcycled rice husk and the tube being made of 10% sugarcane-derived polyethylene. It contains vegetal exfoliants, which micro-buff away dead cells and prevent clogged pores, revealing skin that feels baby-smooth. The formula is non-comedogenic, vegan, cruelty-free, and fragrance-free. Overall, it’s a great mask that I would repurchase!
