I want to go hard for this cleanser right now with my review..all the 2 star reviews are confusing so read them carefully if you want to make your decision based on those because the people who wrote most of them are confused themselves..some gave 2 stars because it didn’t remove makeup -_- cleansers are for cleaning the skin not removing makeup so you should’ve already taken your makeup off first anyway or know that you shouldn’t be disappointed when it doesn’t take your makeup off..the “film” that some get after using it is also because you did not clean your makeup off first and you’re feeling the poorly cleansed skin feeling from rubbing melted makeup all over your face with this soap...this cleanser smells soooo good if you like grapefruit and it’s such a pretty color and packaging being glass seems more clean since it’s not plastic and more luxury because it’s heavy..the only reason it gets 4 stars is because some of the other reviews are right it doesn’t bubble or lather like it advertises (however it still cleans VERY well without it) and also it does feel like you have to use more product to get a good wash going other than that I have no other issues with it so I plan on continuing use

I really was looking forward to getting and using this product. So many good reviews on it. Sadly that was definitely not my experience with the cleanser. I’m more than 3/4 done with the bottle It doesn’t bubble or foam in any sort of fashion. I followed the directions on the bottle but still no bubbles. That’s not a big problem but the description should advertise that as a selling point. I didn’t feel like my face was thoroughly cleansed after each was and didn’t notice any overall improvement from when I started using. Because my skin didn’t get worse and the price of the bottle are the only reasons I’m continuing to use it until I move on and try something else.

This is a nice cleanser, I literally love trying any new cleanser that comes out when I can grab it. It’s a new favorite of mine. I think there’s a slight misconception that people think it’s a bubble foam mask/cleanser of that sort. It’s a rich product and you only need maybe a squirt or two. You’re supposed to lather it up well and it will bubble. It also says “creamy” so don’t expect it to be an intense kind of foaming. Leaves the skin feeling so smooth, refreshed, clean, and does not leave skin tight. It’s perfect for those who need a nice gentle exfoliation without the irritation. Perfect for every day kind of cleansing as well. Favorite part is that it smells gentle and relaxing, free from harsh fragrances. Definitely will repurchase when I run out!

« Don't give up during the purge! »

Because of the exfoliating acids, your skin might go through a purging period when you start using this product! My face purged with little breakouts for 2.5 weeks, but I stuck it out. After 3 weeks, my skin was perfect! This cleanser brought everything out of my pores, and now my face is smoother & clearer than ever. If you have acne, give this a chance for a full 28 day skin cycle. You won’t regret it!

I received this cleanser complimentary from Alpyn Beauty and Id love to share my honest review. I have been using this cleanser for about 3 weeks. When I first try a cleanser I always want to make sure this takes off all my makeup - which it does, even my mascara. I like how gentle it is and doesn’t strip my face. I am also BIG on the ingredients and I love that this cleanser is paraben free, fragrance free, and has Potent antioxidant - vitamin C, which protects against free radical damage.One of the ingredients that I saw and was not sure about is alcohol because I didn’t want it to dry out my face, however it is the last ingredient which means there is a very small percentage of it and I didn’t see a problem with it. So after giving this cleanser a fair chance, I do like it and recommend to give it a try if you are looking for a clean cleanser. I also love the smell - it is very refreshing.

« Doesn’t make my skin feel clean »

I was excited to try this but I was really disappointed. First of all, the instructions say to use on dry skin with damp hands? I did that and the cleanser would just not spread evenly across my face. It felt like I was just rubbing gel on my face. It didn’t bubble up, no matter how much water I put on my hands, which made my skin not feel clean at all. It also has a really weird smell.

I really wanted to like this product because it said it did the exact things I needed, and I love the packaging, cleanliness, and the fact that it is US made. I have normal- dry skin with pores being my main concern. However, this seemed to make my pores so much worse, and I never felt like my skin was getting clean. I always use gentle cleansers that don’t strip my skin, but this one felt like there was still oil from the day left on my face. I also never got the ‘bubbling’ or lather that people are talking about. I used this for about a month and tried it SO many different ways (dry face, wet hands, less water, more water, wet face, more product, less product, etc) to try to get a lather but never got there which I was so confused about. I also found I had to use a lot of product to feel like it did anything so it felt like a waste of money. Really sad that this didn’t work for me, but glad it’s working for others!

« ABSOLUTELY AMAZING »

I honestly thought all the reviews for this were fake or something because of how much positivity was on here! After ordering this and trying it, I knew exactly why. First, off the packaging is really nice, and the glass bottle makes me feel far more eco friendly than a plastic one. Second, it can be used as a cream cleanser or a foamy one - which is awesome for me because I have combination skin that is also on the drier side. Just add a little more water to your hands when working it into your face and you get flakiness. After I used this my skin felt SO clean and soft, and not dry or tight! Third, the next morning of waking up after using this ONCE, I noticed my hyperpigmentation was seriously faded a ton, and any active pimples were far more smaller. I haven’t changed anything in my skin care routine except this so I know this is why. I’m on my 2nd full day of this now and I can genuinely see a huge difference in my skin being brighter, more even toned and my acne has already all gone flat. (I don’t have severe acne, just a couple random pimples that pop up around my chin and forehead) But seriously, this is so worth your money. I’m only 21 and my money is tight but I would 100% keep buying this. I’ve never had such good results so fast with a cleanser EVER.

Did I end up with a lemon over here? There is ZERO bubbling action! There’s also a faint scent- not fruity or soapy, just there. After 1 week of use, my skin does not look or feel different. This is a cute $36 counter display, nothing else for me. I really trusted the 5 star reviews and threw away the packaging- my bad! I will not be repurchasing this product.

I usually don’t like “fussy” skin care cleansers. I tend to use cleansers with as minimal products. However this is my new favorite cleanser. Leaves skin with the perfect finish. I noticed a massive difference even the first night using this product!

« Acne causing »

Hello acne! I should have read the ingredients before purchasing. It has myristates which are a known acne causer. I was prompted to check the ingredients when my normally clear skin started developing cystic acne. Had to spend some money clearing it up. Stopped using this and my skin cleared up.

This cleanser is a life saver! I have combination skin with the occasional breakout, but have been suffering from a blemish patch for the past 4-6 months that I cannot get to go away. I’ve tried several different “clean” cleansers with no success, and then stumbled upon Alpyn. Their bubble cleanser arrived on a Sunday, and by Wednesday my blemishes were COMPLETELY GONE! It only took 3 days to get rid of blemishes I’ve been plagued with for months, safe to say I’ve found my new favorite cleanser!I didn’t feel like the cleanser itself actually bubbled, but what I liked is that a little goes a long way and it leaves your face feeling super clean. I was so impressed by the cleanser that I just bought the moisturizer as well - if you’re on the fence, BUY IT! Your skin will thank you.

If you crossed a face wash with an exfoliant you would have this product. I really like that this combines natural, gentle exfoliants (papaya, pomegranate extract, glycolic and lactic acid) and natural hydrators (linoleic acid and ceramides) to exfoliate while conditioning the skin to leave it feeling really soft - not stripped. I use this as my second cleanse after a cleansing balm and I really like using it as that in my routine. I was gifted by Alpyn Beauty the PlantGenius® Creamy Bubbling Cleanser with Fruit Enzymes & AHA’s in exchange for a honest review. My first impression was the box is very pretty and it was well packed. The cleanser comes in a cute glass bottle. At first I was a weirded out at the fact that it says to apply to dry face with wet hands but I honestly like it better. The smell of the cleanser is very subtle it doesn’t have an overpowering scent like I’ve notice from a bunch of other replant based products. The cleanser itself is super gentle, I’ve noticed my face doesn’t feel as greasy/ oily through out the day as it normally would.

I never write reviews but I have loved this so much that I have to! I have dry, sensitive skin + rosacea. This has been gentle enough on my skin that I don’t ever find it irritating, yet it leaves my skin feeling so deeply clean, fresh and soft. I have had a couple pimples since I started using it but I honestly feel like that’s just because my skin is purging some deeply clogged pores and my face will be clearer than ever soon. Really excited to try their face lotion next!
