Willow & Sweet Agave Plumping Lip Mask

When Bite Beauty shut down, I never thought I’d ever find another holy grail mask, though I certainly tried. I remember hearing lanolin was the magic ingredient, not agave, so I looked for products with lanolin and products with agave. After trying all types of products, I can confidently say it was the agave. This lip mask is everything! I’m so happy with the results! I am chronically dehydrated and my lips get chapped often, but no more! A few swipes of this stuff on my lips overnight and I’m good to wear my mask proof liquid lipsticks!

Incredible product. Better then the Laniege mask and clean formula too which is great. At first application I wasn’t actually crazy about it - slightly more sticky than Laniege. BUT you just have to figure out how to work with it and the results are 10x Laniege mask. Its’ beauty is in its ability to deliver more lasting results - even when the mask is off I can tell my lips have been plumped and are much healthier. It is the best lip mask I’ve tried and has helped my little lips loads <3

In the photo, this looks soft and creamy. It isn’t!!! It’s hard, waxy and clumpy. At most, I can get a thin layer on. Zero plumping. I’m going back to the Tatcha mask. It’s so much better.

Okay so let me tell you, every fall AND winter season no matter where I am my lips so easily get chapped, then crack and then BLEED. You have no idea how much I dread the fall and winter just because of the discomfort my entire body goes through because of how dehydrated my skin is, but my lips is the most sensitive part of my body when it comes to dryness. I don’t know why I’ve seen doctors and they always prescribe me these lips creams that I need to heavily lather on my lips and cover in Vaseline. It is so hard to constantly do that and it is also so unsanitary to me because I have to always apply it with my hands and it gets messy and I just am not a fan. Also it costs so much $$$. Anyway so I only put aquafor on my lips for the past 5 years of my life because that’s all that works especially in the fall! I literally avoid lip products because of how sensitive my lips are. When I saw this product I was curious but hesitant so I never bought but when I was sent this product I gasped in real life because of how good this product is. It barely has a smell which I also love and it smells natural but exactly like the ingredients. It’s sweet but not too sweet because it’s agave and it’s balmy but not glossy and it’s thick but not heavy on my lips! I love the formula so freaking much. Also vegan and cruelty free which is just great because it’s better for me and the planet like such a win. Also it makes my lips look so pillowy like not bam here’s my lips but more of a “my lips are so full and cute and they have sheen so compliment me” like what more could you ask? It’s a great lip product and it deserves all the hype.

Rant below: one of the products I’ve purchased with my own money that reflects all the good incentivized reviews. I’ve purchased several products in the past few months because of all the great reviews..that were mediocre products at best. I only read verified purchase reviews at this point. I get that influencer allows exposure for products and generates more reviews for more products, but when it’s an incentive review, you’re actually more likely to get a good review and not an honest one. There’s nothing wrong with giving your honest opinion on products. The people here purchasing the product with their own money appreciate the honesty. rant over

« Beautiful Formulation »

I love this lip mask! I wear a thin layer during the day and a thicker layer at night. It’s smoothing, hydrating and leaves a healthy pinky glowy glossy lip. I love the consistency-- it’s thin without feeling sticky!Like some of the other reviewers, I do wish it came with a metal applicator to keep it sanitary and add that extra touch of luxury.I also am sensitive to smells and I love that Alpyn kept the scent all natural without adding anything more. It’s beautiful!

« Not Worth the Price »

I’ve been looking for a clean alternative to the Laneige lip mask but sadly this is not it. The tub is so tiny for price I was truly shocked when I opened the box (my fault for not reading the product description more closely tho). Also, this mask just does not perform compared to Laneige. I put Alpyn on my lips at night and when I wake up my lips are still dry and flaky, whereas the L brand seems to start working as soon as it’s applied and when I wake up my lips are soft and supple. Needless to say I will not be purchasing this again. *Sigh*

« Extra love for your lips! »

This lip balm has quickly became a staple in my routine! I use it both overnight and as a day time balm and it works great either way. The formula is fabulous! So many potent ingredients in it! It smells delicious and has a dense balm texture that stays on my lips longer than any lip care product I’ve tried. There’s also subtle sweetness I like. And most importantly the results are amazing! My lips feel perfectly smooth and well nourished whenever I use this balm! Love it!

After seeing this viral lip mask all over social media, I was beyond intrigued by the natural ingredients used in this formula. I’ve seen this product being compared to many other brands. BELIEVE the hype!! I have sensitive skin and chapped lips. This product keeps them hydrated for hours!! After exfoliating my lips, I apply this product before bed. The next morning my lips are STILL soft and moisturized! I don’t notice a plumping affect, but it is the best lip mask I have tried to date. No reactions at all.

This is a very nice lip mask. It instantly made my lips feel hydrated. It’s a nice texture and didn’t feel heavy or greasy on my lips. I did not notice much plumping but it did make my lips glossy. I really like this lip mask!

Like beeswax - doesn’t penetrate. Just sits on my lips and they’re actually worse off now than before. There’s a crack in the middle. Doesn’t moisturize. If I were heading out in sub zero temperatures, I would put this on because nothing can penetrate

I didn’t like this at first but kept using it because everything else was irritating my lips and this doesn’t. The top of the lip balm is thick, waxy, goes on chunky, but after getting through that, it’s a really nice lip mask.

I have been a fan of Laneige lip masks, this product is a great alternative, perhaps not as intense and has less “shiny or wet“ feel but it’s way cleaner. When you think how much product ends in your mouth and body from your lips, it’s super important to have no toxins in lip products. This one is not bad.I like it a lot under my other lipsticks as it’s hydrating, long lasting, and the plumping effect is real.
