I suffer from dry lips and the cold winter season always seems to perpetuate this situation for me. When I saw Fenty Skin release this lip mask I instantly added it cart and have been using it daily for the past couple of weeks. It does a phenomenal job at keeping my lips moisturized without leaving them feel heavy or too sticky. After application, the mask lasts about 3-4 hours and even after that, my lips feel so rejuvenated and healed. It makes them look plush and naturally plumped looking, and I love that about this product . The mask is not too shiny or glossy, which I also appreciate as a male client, it gives off a nice natural sheen. The vanilla scent is very muted, not to worry if your sensitive to smells, it literally disappears after application. A couple clicks is all you need to do both top and bottoms lips, turn the dial carefully as the product seeps out even after the click is done, a little goes a very long way with this. If you want to use less lips balms all day, do give this a try, you’ll definitely notice a big difference within the first day.

I’ve used this lip mask for about a week so I could write a trustworthy review for those looking to buy this product! I have sensitive dry skin for reference. The product wasn’t irritating thankfully! This lip mask was very moisturizing to my lips but when washed off it felt very sticky, and not just on my lips; on my fingers too. The moisture from the lip mask does last long, but don’t expect it to be a replacer for a lip balm; I’d recommend applying your fav lip balm after washing the lip mask off. It’s a okayish lip mask, but I don’t think it’s worth buying because of the stickiness.

I’m sorry but I don’t know what anyone likes with the actual product!! It is sooo THICK and heavy on the lips and stays that way even when you continue to rub your lips together and turns sticky after an hour. It’s so thick that there’s even a residue left after you wipe it off your finger. It legit smells like play dough and has a bad taste too! I only gave it 2 stars because the packaging is cool and chic.

I am a ride or die aquaphor girl so it’s hard to find something I like better. This lip mask is nice- I really like the scent and it feels good on the lips. However, I don’t love the packaging (gets messy) and it is verrryyy sticky. I have a dog and her hair gets stuck on my lips when I use this! I will definitely get use out of this but will mainly stick to my aquaphor.

I like this product (kinda) but it is so insanely thick and sticky so if you don’t have crazy dry lips than this product isn’t for you. Also, it is hard to control the amount of product you get because of the packaging.

I fell in love with this product right away! I love how small it is, perfect to throw in your purse. Ive seen a few complaints about the packaging but if you’re like me and hate dipping your fingers inside of a container this is definitely more ideal. You only need to twist it up once after you get the product to the surface. I would definitely say it’s a lot more moisturizing than the Laniege so if you have extremely dry lips this will do the job perfectly. I’ll be stocking up on these for my car, desk, and purse!

I saw this right after I re-upped my Tatcha Kissu. I bought it immediately with the intention of returning the Tatcha if it was love. It wasn’t love and I’m keeping my Tatcha. The Fenty lip mask is very thick and waxy and quite heavy on the lips. I find it uncomfortable to wear compared to Laneige and Tatcha. The only thing it has going for it is the dispenser which is more hygienic than the others. I get that it’s an overnight product but the others I’ve mentioned provide a better overall experience. I’m keeping it because I’ve already used it but I don’t enjoy it and won’t repurchase. The vanilla scent is not unpleasant.

Feels amazing on the lips — such a great consistency! Made my lips feel soft and supple, which is great because this Indiana wind has made them so dry and chapped! Unfortunately, I’m pretty sensitive to scents, and the sweet oil smell of this made me too nauseous to wear it more than once. The scent didn’t bother my husband though! I would smell a tester in-store before purchase, but otherwise, it’s a great product that does what it says it’ll do!

This product is ok. Once you get the hang of the container, it’s a fun lip product. I don’t like the smell. Smells like it’s off but they may have been going for vanilla. I like the consistency though but i’t not as nice as the sleep mask by Laneige.

I received this product as part of a free sample program. I hate to say it but this product is horrible. When I first received this product it took forever to figure out how to get it to work and when I did figure it out I twisted on it for a long time before anything came out. When the product does come out it dispenses way too much and ends up all over the inside cap when closed. Don’t even think about just putting it on using the container it comes in as it just smears all over the package and nothing gets on your lips, it has to be applied using a cotton swab to not make a mess. The product itself is very unpleasant and has a smell like old chapstick. It’s way too thick on and leaves your lips sticky and goopy for hours even after overnight wear. I would not recommend this product as it’s not worth your money or your time.

This product truly is thick and super hydrating, which as someone who suffers from dry lips and then picks at them, this product has been a game changer. The thickness of the formula makes the product great to wear as an overnight lip mask or even throughout the day because of the gloss it gives and it stays on for so long. The vitamins and sterols in the formula really do help moisturize and restore dry lips so I totally recommend. It also comes in a cute and unique roll up packing that makes the product feel even more luxe. One thing that lost a star for me is the scent of the product, I believe it essentially has no scent but I am not a huge fan of the scent/taste of the product.

This feels great going on your lips and keeps them soft all day. I’m not a huge fan of the packaging because it dips a little in the middle but overall great product especially if you get really dry lips in the winter

« Faulty Packaging, Stale Scent »

I use a lot of Fenty Skin and Fenty Beauty products, and unfortunately this one does not stand up to their usual standard. I bought it on the day it was released on Sephora online and tried it as soon as it arrived a couple of days later. It already smelled stale. I have kept using it at night, the stale scent isn’t overwhelming so I figured it would give it a shot and the product does work. Although I’ve come to realize the cute packaging is not great. If you turn the base too much, the product just keeps on coming out and you can’t put it back in, so any extra is wasted. I have been using it consistently, and I do wake up with hydrated lips, but nothing better than my usual LaNeige lip mask (which I miss so much and can’t wait to get back to). I have no idea how much product I have left in the container, no way to tell, but hopefully not much because the packaging dispenser is now broken. Every time I turn it to get product out, the base starts to pop off and nothing comes out. I push it back on to fix it, and soooooo much product comes out. Like 4 times more than I need to cover my lips. So it all that excess goes to waste. I’m just trying to use it up at this point, and that flaw is making that happen faster. Going back to my OG LaNeige Sweet Candy sleeping lip mask.

I know I’m making a big claim here, but it’s better than the laneige sleeping mask. Starting off with the packaging, it’s convenient and innovative. I enjoy that I don’t have to dip in my fingers in the formula avoiding introducing bacteria to it. the way it feels on the lips it’s incredible. It’s nourishing, hydrating and has little to no scent (which I love). It’s thick, not sticky and will stay on for an entire day /night. The reason I like this better than the laneige because this actually feels like it’s conditioning your lips. Meanwhile the laneige sleeping mask just acts like a barrier. Just be a tad he careful when screwing the bottom to dispense product. A little goes a long way.
