« Really good cleanser- not drying »

Love love love. I have slowly bought all the Caudalie products and this one does not disappointed. I love this better than the gel cleanser in this line. Cleans well and mixes well with the Milk cleanser and exfoliation for spa like feeling. My face is addicted to the entire vinoperfect line along with toner, essence, and detox masks.

I do enjoy this product, I read the ingredients on Sephora’s website and loved what I saw. However, when the cleanser arrived I read the ingredients and to my surprised “parfum“ is one of the first 10 ingredients. This was not listed in the ingredients on the website, or I would not have ordered it. I do not think it has irritated my skin, but I don’t like the idea of cleaning my face with perfume.

This is the ONLY product I have ever been able to use without my skin resulting in AWFUL breakouts. I have tried so many products from multiple companies and this is hands down the best product on the marked for dry, acne prone skin.

I switched to this cleanser after using Murad’s Time release cleanser. That cleanser kept most of my hard-and-under-the-skin acne at bay, but at a cost of texturized skin.My first introduction to Caudalie’s line was the Detox Oil and I fell in love and began exploring possible better cleansing alternatives. This cleanser has all natural ingredients and it seemed to purify my skin by cleaning the gunk out of my pores so new acne wouldn’t form. It was a little drying though-- and this was weird for me, having oily skin. So I tried Caudalie’s gel cleanser for a while and finally found a Caudalie product I wasn’t entirely fond of, as it caused my skin to purge (I think?)Switching back to this, Caudalie’s foam cleanser + a little time and my skin began to calm again and clarity ensued. *My one qualm* with this product is that sometimes it just doesn’t seem to foam and I feel like I’m washing my face with water. *My solution:* I began double washing whenever I washed my face. The second wash meant more suds/foaming. As for the drying, I also use Caudalie’s glycolic essence + the moisturizing sorbet and my skin is amply hydrated.An amazing Caudalie esthetician recently recommended a clarifying clean by mixing 3 pumps of this cleanser with 3 pumps of Caudalie’s detox oil and this results in a more satisfying clean.For those of you who want a gentle clean OR oily and acne prone I would highly recommend this. For everyone, I definitely recommend using the Caudalie esthetician’s recommendation if you can + some extra moisture.

Although a splurge, this is a perfect cleanser. Foams enough to really feel like it’s cleaning, and takes off all my medium-coverage makeup. It smells herbal, like cucumber,sage, and green grapes. It’s very gentle and helps minimize redness on my skin.

I just purchased my 3rd bottle of this cleanser - I’ve finally found a gentle cleanser that works great with my combination sensitive skin. I also find my skin less “extreme (less dry in areas and less greasy in others).

First off I love Caudalie products I use their moisturizer and serum. I thought since I love the other products this face wash would be great too but I was disappointing. It doesn’t take remove my makeup at all and it feels very watered down. If you are looking for a true cleanser this is not for you.

« Stings my eyes »

Why change a good thing? Similarly to the vinoperfect serum, the formula has been changed for this foaming cleanser. It USED TO BE my go-to cleanser, gentle enough for my eyes but effective and left a clean feeling without making my skin feel dry. Now this NEW FORMULATION stings and hurts my eyes and leaves my face feeling much drier than the original formula. Will not be repurchasing.

I really wanted to love this product but it made me break out so bad! After using it for about a week-and-a-half I got these angry, red and painful bumps over my cheeks and I had to switch back to my other cleanser for it to finally clear up. I had to return it.

I have used the old version of the Instant Foaming Cleanser and loved it!!! I used this for the first time yesterday night and woke up with an allergic reaction. I haven’t changed anything else with my skin care routine. Returning!!

« Absolute holy grail product!!! »

I had gone into Sephora wanting a cleanser with no particular product in mind, when the salesperson recommended this cleanser because it was good for blackheads. I can say right now that this product did nothing whatsoever for my blackheads. However, I had been going through a rough patch of acne prior to purchasing, and as soon as I started using it, I stopped growing as many pimples! I’ve been using this product for quite a few years, and with the exception of the new Tatcha rice wash, every time I try to change to something else, the acne comes back. No tightness, and the scent is very light and soothing. I’ve also taken this cleanser with me while traveling and the packaging posed no issues as long as the cap was on. The only downside to this product is the price, considering how much of a foaming cleanser is actually water. But still, for me at least, the pros outweigh the cons and I cannot recommend this cleanser enough.

I recently purchased Caudalie’s Instant Foaming Cleanser. This is a natural, soap-free, foaming cleanser. This product can be used daily and it’s full of antioxidants to gently cleanse and soften the look of skin. My skin feels so wonderful after each use. This product works best for normal and dry skin. If you have concerns with dryness, dullness and uneven texture this is a great product. The cleanser is a lightweight mousse. Caudalie us a Clean at Sephora Product. It is formulated without over 50 ingredients, such as sulfates, parabens and phthalates. However, it does include Grape Extract, Sage Extract and Chamomile Extract. Grape Extract provides antioxidants. Sage Extract visibly tones, softens and fights the appearance of blemishes. Chamomile Extract helps calm, soothes and reduces the look of redness. This is a cruelty-free product and the packaging is recyclable.

purchased this twice in the past and i loveddd this gentle foam cleanser; perfect for my sensitive combo skin. however, when i bought this new bottle, i felt something was off… i compared the ingredients between my old and new bottle and there were only minor changes, so there shouldn’t be a drastic difference, right?! i used it consistently for two weeks and it was the only change to my skincare routine. sadly, my skin became drier and i had more whitehead appear throughout the weeks. i returned this product and am now back on the hunt for a new cleanser staple :(

I bought this cleaner because I was looking for a gentle cleanser with antioxidant properties. I’ve loved it so much that it has become a staple in my skincare routine (followed by the Vinopure toner). What I love: it’s soft, cloud like texture that effectively removes dirt and leaves my skin feeling cleansed, without feeling tight. *Note that when wearing makeup I do use a cleansing oil before using this - otherwise, I used it on its own. What I don’t love: I’ve bought this cleanser three times now, and 2/3 times I bought it, there was a faint but noticeable egg white smell to it (I don’t know if that’s just me or others have noticed it). The last time I bought it, it wasn’t there (maybe I had just gotten used to it?). Overall, definitely a staple in my sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin through all seasons.
